  • ProjectSapper Sapper Project (@ProjectSapper) reported from Seaham, England

Had to write a cheque the other day, no idea where my cheque book is so got a postal order instead. £35 postal order cost me £39.80!!!! WTF!! Why does it cost so much? Surely a £35 postal order should be £35 or something like a £1 processing fee max @PostOffice #ripoff

  • prlumley Peter Lumley (@prlumley) reported from Whickham, England

Well done in the Customer Services stakes:NOT. ? Is it @mccolls ? or is it @morrison who arbitrarily close their NE16 local @postoffice because today the (understaffed anyway) "convenience" store ain't got enough workers. THE "sprat to catch a mackerel" ruse short of bait now?

  • Mrs_Moir Lee-Ann Moir (@Mrs_Moir) reported from Dunston, England

@NFSP_UK need to be held accountable for their complicity in the @PostOffice treatment of sub- postmasters - they are just as guilty as they did nothing to help members instead they protected the post office.

@_RobbieMoore @PostOffice Robbie, my experience of Co-ops providing postal services is nothing but positive. They are open longer hours and provide a good service.

    @PostOffice Terrible.

  • mrgazmaz Maria Addison (@mrgazmaz) reported

@caratacos @weechoukie @PostOffice Flipping stupid. Why don't we just all be defeated and have no hope!?!? Because they will win if we all have this attitude. Stand strong, inconvenience yourself because you know you are right, your integrity is important and they are wrong.

  • TraceyMcNee Tracey McNee (@TraceyMcNee) reported

@PostOffice Yes they phoned a help line who told them that they could accept them as they are Sterling. PO workers should have a basic understanding of the currency of the UK. There are notes other that The Bank of England, really basic stuff if you are acting as bank and currency exchange.

  • LauraElizaxo Laura (@LauraElizaxo) reported

@PostOffice hello I wish to cancel my travel insurance as I no longer need it as not travelling anymore. I’m within the 14 days just have no clue how to cancel. Thanks

  • chall060 Chall60 (@chall060) reported

@age_uk @PostOfficeNews @PostOffice Absolutely! I’ve started to deliberately use cash where I can to help protect older folk and to teach children the value of real money (which cannot be done by tapping a card). Sadly many businesses have used Covid as an excuse for becoming cashless. Thanks for the post!

  • ShastaSharon Shasta (@ShastaSharon) reported

@PostOffice No problem I feel very strongly about this.

  • ElleInTheUK RebElle42💚🤍💜 (@ElleInTheUK) reported

@PostOffice I sent two emails to local MPs using your link. They were both rejected by the email system and bounced back unsent.... Please rectify this problem. This is important!

  • tractorgirly 𝓣𝓻𝓪𝓬𝓽𝓸𝓻𝓰𝓲𝓻𝓵y 🚜🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 (@tractorgirly) reported

@Ti_ti___ @PostOffice Not everyone has access to a bank account. Many OAPs also prefer to use cash. Whats the issue about using cash anyway? You use your card if you prefer. Tbh your tweet is a childish response.

  • christine0046 Christine Taylor (@christine0046) reported

@PostOffice @bluedaysomeday Your quiz photos indicated that we need cash for beggars, tips and paying workmen. Not a strong argument for cash. We do need to support post offices though.
