@NFSP_UK need to be held accountable for their complicity in the @PostOffice treatment of sub- postmasters - they are just as guilty as they did nothing to help members instead they protected the post office.

@PostOffice Omg. You just reminded me to put in a massive complaint. How are you completely deprived and left me destitute as a survivor of domestic violence. And I’m coming after you & the Bank of Ireland. Do not dare claim to help us survivors. You fleeced me. Off I go to complain #dv

@ClaireEWebb @siany_d @PostOffice Trouble is, unlike a bank PO’s don’t have unlimited safe space, so can’t store loads of bulky change like a bank could. Ask to withdraw £X in coin rather than exchange it, if I had enough coins available for float and business customers I’d always give what I could on request

@NanSheppard @jasrichards2 @PostOffice Something my mother did when I was a child to help escape an abusive home. The faux outrage at this ad is ridiculous.

@ChrisNJWilliams @PostOffice A very poor analogy, cash is about choice, freedom and privacy. If you want to help out someone on a mean tested benefit you can give / loan them cash to help out without it impacting any future benefit payments - you lose the privacy with a bank transfer.

@PostOffice But what your advert is insinuating is that it’s a very dangerous world out there because of men of course and to every woman should have a bank account up the post office in order to save up for when her husband or son I suppose beat the crap out of her

@PostOffice Things must have been bad if queuing at a post office is better than being at home (especially if it’s in WHSmith)

@mikewatso @nat_williams89 @PostOffice Absolutely agree. The issue has to be addressed, support has to be provided but I still balk at PostOffice promoting themselves on the back of misery. If they contributed as much to supporting those in abusive relationships as they do promoting themselves then the point is moot.
