@santanderuk I’ve been trying to apply for a loan all day and once I put the OTP in your site breaks, this has happened numerous times. I can’t use another browser because it asks for a landline number which I do not have.

Bloody @santanderuk they’ve frozen my account; I’ve just spend 1.5 hours trying to get through to the fraud department, put on hold, cut off and absolutely nothing. I can’t access my account - fuming 😡

@santanderuk advised me months ago that if I was an existing customer I could port my mortgage to a new home that is equal or less value, avoiding the full application process. Today I applied online and got declined. Can you call our buyers and explain? And console my wife? 😡

@santanderuk Over an hour on the phone, being passed from department to department for nothing. Not one member of staff could help. So thank you for 10+ years, but I’ll be taking my banking elsewhere now. Today was a joke.

Absolutely TERRIBLE service from @santanderuk Tried to make a large payment via the app. Blocked my account and their helpline doesn't open till 8am. Been trying to contact them for the last 30mins and they won't answer the phone. USELESS - will close account asap

Absolutely appalled by the service from @santanderuk mortgage application ongoing since Dec 2020. Went to underwriters 3 weeks ago. They AT THIS POINT decide more bloody paperwork is needed. Santander you are giving me a nervous breakdown. Literally.

To be clear a bank like @santanderuk know *exactly* what their call wait times are, when peak times are. They have service desk tooling that monitors all of this. The truth is they don't care. Their customer's time has little worth to them & their financial model to do business.
