    .@TalkTalk NEVER listen to what you are saying to them. It now looks as if I will have to sue @TalkTalk for the negligence of their engineer in disconnecting our sockets unnecessarily. Aaaarrrggghhh!

    So two number changes later, we no longer use the landline much. We’ve now got no extension sockets despite not ever having a problem before. We’ve spent hours talking to @TalkTalk but there’s one big problem....

    .@TalkTalk then refused to send an engineer out to fix the damage they had done. They are insisting on me sending another crappy router as apparently they cannot test the line (despite saying at the beginning of all this that their tests had shown a problem with our wiring.)

    The problem is that you cannot trust @TalkTalk. They lost our data to a plague of Nigerian hackers who pestered us daily. Then they gave us a new telephone number which was from another customer whose data had been lost.

    I then spoke to a fault manager who also said the problem was my router. I told him that the fault was with the external BT Openreach wiring. I plugged in the crappy Huawei @TalkTalk router and lo and behold there was an external fault.

    I tried @TalkTalk’s ‘live chat’ to explain that their engineer had decimated our house wiring but I was then told the problem was my router. (Lesson to self -Do NOT use live chat)

    He then pronounced that he had ‘improved’ the speed and left saying it would get better still in a couple of days. The problem was that there was no change - other than courtesy of @TalkTalk we no longer had working extension sockets.

    Now I use my own router rather than the dodgy Chinese one supplied by @TalkTalk. I was also fairly confident that there was no problem with our internal wiring but the ‘engineer’ proceeded to cut the wires to all our internal sockets.

    We waited in for the engineer. Surprisingly he turned up on time. He said that he was here to fix the ‘bridge tap’ which was all he did. @TalkTalk said there was a problem with our internal wiring.

    It started with @TalkTalk trying to be helpful. Their “tests” had detected a fault with our line - so the email said - and they would send an engineer free of charge to fix it.

    @TalkTalk I’ve reported it numerous times and have put in a formal complaint and still no internet. I think as I was the last connection put into the exchange when everyone gets home my internet disappears. I have spent hour upon hour trying to sort this and get no where

    @TalkTalk hello, my internet should of been connected yesterday, but it’s not working still flashing orange all connected correctly tried online chat but unhelpful I would really like this rectified ASAP as I’m paying and not getting a service. Thank you.

    @TalkTalk have just provided us with probably the worst customer service I have ever endured. And their broadband is dogshit.

    @TalkTalk I cancelled it. Weren’t here on time. Continued with @virginmedia as they don’t hang up on me mid conversation as they know how to communicate with their customers.

    @TalkTalk Customer services seem to have no power to actually help! On the phone for an hour, left on hold, dropped line, then told we DO need an engineer for £40 that the site told us we didn’t need. So much faff and extra money we don’t have!!

    @TheMarkTalbot @Robbill123 @GeoffRogersEU @Pilloque @HyperInertia @razisidd @britainelects Called The GPO to repair my phone in the 1970s phone working within 3 days. People used to complain that was too long! Line not working with TalkTalk a couple of years back over Christmas, over 2 weeks to get it back on and £50 compensation. Take me back anyway.
