Alan Price (@alanprice65) reported from Borough of Torbay, England
@TalkTalk Hi. I'm losing hope here. Are 0808 numbers free from TalkTalk landlines with no 60min limit, as shown on your website? I'm being told I get charged for all 0800, 0808 and 0500 numbers. Help!!!
-
Stuart Reynolds (@shaldonangler) reported from Shaldon, England
I tried @TalkTalk’s ‘live chat’ to explain that their engineer had decimated our house wiring but I was then told the problem was my router. (Lesson to self -Do NOT use live chat)
-
Anna Botha (@annarosebotha) reported from Pinhoe, England
Wow @TalkTalk you are awful! We are trying to cancel our account as your broadband is terrible. The phone lines to cancel accounts is closed. If we don’t cancel today we don’t get our money back. How can we ensure we get our 30 day guarantee back please without the charge?!
-
Anna Botha (@annarosebotha) reported from Pinhoe, England
@TalkTalk Your team have advised us to ring s number to cancel our account but it says it isn’t working?!
-
Stuart Reynolds (@shaldonangler) reported from Shaldon, England
He then pronounced that he had ‘improved’ the speed and left saying it would get better still in a couple of days. The problem was that there was no change - other than courtesy of @TalkTalk we no longer had working extension sockets.
-
Rudders (@Rudders3082) reported from Exmouth, England
@TalkTalk hi my broadband has just gone down
-
Stuart Reynolds (@shaldonangler) reported from Shaldon, England
So two number changes later, we no longer use the landline much. We’ve now got no extension sockets despite not ever having a problem before. We’ve spent hours talking to @TalkTalk but there’s one big problem....
-
Craig (@lampy117) reported from Crediton, England
@TalkTalk still having real problem with our Internet. Now been on going for 2 weeks
-
Stuart Reynolds (@shaldonangler) reported from Shaldon, England
The problem is that you cannot trust @TalkTalk. They lost our data to a plague of Nigerian hackers who pestered us daily. Then they gave us a new telephone number which was from another customer whose data had been lost.
-
Stuart Reynolds (@shaldonangler) reported from Shaldon, England
@TalkTalk Hi, a new box is now (belatedly) on its way but does not record. Why have you degraded the service and increased the price?
-
Graham Trude (@GHT_treesurgery) reported from Aylesbeare, England
@TalkTalk you are by far the biggest pile of shite telecoms company out there. **** service, no customer service, I think you make it up as you go along. Never recommending you to anyone, actually I will go out of my way to steer people clear.
-
Stuart Reynolds (@shaldonangler) reported from Shaldon, England
.@TalkTalk NEVER listen to what you are saying to them. It now looks as if I will have to sue @TalkTalk for the negligence of their engineer in disconnecting our sockets unnecessarily. Aaaarrrggghhh!
-
Stuart Reynolds (@shaldonangler) reported from Shaldon, England
.@TalkTalk then refused to send an engineer out to fix the damage they had done. They are insisting on me sending another crappy router as apparently they cannot test the line (despite saying at the beginning of all this that their tests had shown a problem with our wiring.)
-
Stuart Reynolds (@shaldonangler) reported from Shaldon, England
Now I use my own router rather than the dodgy Chinese one supplied by @TalkTalk. I was also fairly confident that there was no problem with our internal wiring but the ‘engineer’ proceeded to cut the wires to all our internal sockets.
-
John Harvey 💜 (@Mr_John_Harvey_) reported from Exeter District, England
Update @TalkTalk - the signal is now dropping out approximately every 10 minutes... I’d like to get some work done today - the router is at present successfully thwarting me... 😬
-
Amanda Leach (@nuggyleach) reported from Exeter District, England
@Peter_Follett @virginmedia Try TalkTalk. I left a Virgin £80 per month 'Faster Fibre' TV + phone package in December. Connection always dropping..Had no problems with our internet since and now pay £35 capped for 24 mths! Plus their live chat is much quicker than trying to get hold of Virgin!
-
Stuart Reynolds (@shaldonangler) reported from Shaldon, England
We waited in for the engineer. Surprisingly he turned up on time. He said that he was here to fix the ‘bridge tap’ which was all he did. @TalkTalk said there was a problem with our internal wiring.
-
Kelly Louise Vicker (@kellyvicker) reported from Borough of Torbay, England
@TalkTalk I was told Thursday I would be getting a call from a manager within 24/48 hours which hasn’t happened. I want to leave your company and you can’t even get that right let alone the 2 years of awful customer service and awful connection. I would like some answers please!
-
Stuart Reynolds (@shaldonangler) reported from Shaldon, England
I then spoke to a fault manager who also said the problem was my router. I told him that the fault was with the external BT Openreach wiring. I plugged in the crappy Huawei @TalkTalk router and lo and behold there was an external fault.
-
Mandy Pearse (@MandyPearse) reported from Teignmouth, England
@danslee @virginmedia That’s shocking customer handling Dan. If it’s any help I’ve actually found the guys @TalkTalk pretty good especially on tech issues around broadband.

@TalkTalk SOME? Are you sure? In that case why can't you fix mine... and please don't come back and say send us a DM, I am so tired of trying to get it fixed....

FloAFC (@OmarW21) reported
Gentle reminder to never enter into any sort of ties with @TalkTalk , the WORST company to ever be formed. Stopped being my provider weeks ago and still having to call them weekly to stop them pestering me with their BS
-
Charlotte Bass (@Char_loot) reported
The new @TalkTalk advert 'Dinner for Two' isn't funny, it's insulting to restaurants and unfairly suggests restaurants add 'fake' costs to customer bills. Not helpful in this climate. #NotFunnt
-
Juliet Preston (@Artycow) reported
@TalkTalk Again, five hours on chat, on the phone, if not longer now, I don’t want to have to chat to talktalk ever again tbh, but also not going to pay for a service that isn’t provided

-
Ian Pattinson (@Spinneyhead) reported
Yes @TalkTalk I know you're having issues connecting my broadband. What I don't know is what those issues are, what you're doing to fix them, and when you expect to have them sorted out. All I get is the same text, over and over.

adubism (@adubism) reported
@TalkTalk “Had to cancel the internet if they won’t fix. Then they are charging me £38 a month until it’s cancelled in 30 days. Then I have to sent them router equipment back in 14 days, if not £50 charge! I just can’t even” What a scam!
