The hub is about a metre from the socket. The hub has a white light but internet is slow and inconsistent just like the routers were.

Watch for ones who charge you to install it, talktalk where completely free the cheapest when I was moving in. My broadband runs my TV aswell as I’ve a Firestick & I’ve yet to have a problem. Had to get an openreach engineer out. They replaced part of the line as it was apparently corroded outside our house.

You can't help me with costings and I can't cancel without penalties. So unless you've a magic wand -I very much doubt it!!

Eventually was told they couldn’t do anything because I was in a “queue” for allocation of a new account number after conversion from copper to digital voice service. Shambles !
