@jazlosaz @SamFras09714950 @TalkTalk After posting my issue on their community forums and filling in a form on the service section on TT’s site, they’re sending us an engineer on Tuesday. Worth getting on their forum if you haven’t, as it’s the only place where someone got back to us.

To go further that call from the manager from @TalkTalk I had been waiting on over a month.! The customer service received has been diabolical! Cannot wait to get out of the contract!

  • EmmaSteeleDJ
Emma B Eleets (@EmmaSteeleDJ) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@TalkTalk @TalkTalkGroup Just had a manager from Talk Talk hang up the phone on me, because I failed the security questions. Their customer service just keeps on getting better! I advise anyone wanting to get broadband to go with anyone but Talk Talk

  • internetsense
Philip I Wilson (@internetsense) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@TalkTalk I spoke with customer service for 45 mins to answer a single question. They were barely legible. You can't help me with costings and I can't cancel without penalties. So unless you've a magic wand -I very much doubt it!!

  • niclassicshirt
NI Classic Shirt Co (@niclassicshirt) reported from Newtownards, Northern Ireland

@TalkTalk @sucooke They never reply to DMs either. The book appointments on the wrong day then just ignore you're messages to have it corrected. I'm certain it's so they can bill you for a missed appointment

  • trublustuuk
Stuart Neilly 🇬🇧🇨🇦🇹🇭 (@trublustuuk) reported from Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland

@TalkTalk The hub is plugged directly into the socket using the cable that was supplied with the hub. The hub is about a metre from the socket. The hub has a white light but internet is slow and inconsistent just like the routers were.

  • internetsense
Philip I Wilson (@internetsense) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

Read the replies (this is simply awful) shameful response. Just the £7 Billion in their coffers. #talktalk and #BTSport also awful with their responses.

  • KimKellyKK
Kim Kelly (@KimKellyKK) reported from Castlereagh, Northern Ireland

Positive tweet alert! In a world where I moan about everything, credit where credit is due. @TalkTalk just changed over my broadband to my new house for free, with no hassle and without me having to speak to anyone! Great customer service. Would recommend!

@JohnMat77117417 @TalkTalk They're an absolute shambles on twitter. Even they're Facebook customer services agreed in a private chat. They just ignore their customers

  • internetsense
Philip I Wilson (@internetsense) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

I'm reading online that #talktalk are refusing to pay a 16 million pound bill as they haven't received the internet 📶 service that they both demand and require. How incredibly ironic #methinks

  • GlentoranNUFC
Ryan Batchelor (@GlentoranNUFC) reported from Dundonald, Northern Ireland

@Ruthieeee123 Aye I find it decent tbh but just depends what you’re looking for. Watch for ones who charge you to install it, talktalk where completely free the cheapest when I was moving in. My broadband runs my TV aswell as I’ve a Firestick & I’ve yet to have a problem. Good luck 👍🏻

  • niclassicshirt

@TalkTalk @KiteeKate They never reply to DMs either. The book appointments on the wrong day then just ignore you're messages to have it corrected. I'm certain it's so they can bill you for a missed appointment

  • paulcollins123

@TalkTalk have to say the worse customer service I have ever experienced four phone calls to cancel a new service and no completed call. ... avoid

  • internetsense
Philip I Wilson (@internetsense) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@Back_Two_Mee @Complyorcry Sounds wild. I go low low on all these things. Cancel ❌ them, move them. Talktalk or Plusnet (Plusnet is BT) use Now tv rather than Sky Sports etc etc

  • Jazzyjosh266
Jase266 (@Jazzyjosh266) reported from Castlereagh, Northern Ireland

@TalkTalk is there an issue with the Internet in the BT8 area of Belfast.

  • trublustuuk
Stuart Neilly 🇬🇧🇨🇦🇹🇭 (@trublustuuk) reported from Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland

@TalkTalk just reading your twitter. Seems I'm not the only one having issues. Is there a problem in the Newtownabbey area regarding service as the hub is acting like the router was, connection is slow and often drops out.

  • jnrtaggart
Junior (@jnrtaggart) reported from Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland

@TalkTalk internet is not working white lite but no life from.the connection

  • PMcCrory23
Paul McCrory (@PMcCrory23) reported from Newtownards, Northern Ireland

@AlexKane221b I was without internet for a week. Talktalk, but it was actually a problem with my line, not the service. Had to get an openreach engineer out. They replaced part of the line as it was apparently corroded outside our house.

  • internetsense
Philip I Wilson (@internetsense) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@Mr_B33pB33p #talktalk no better, up and down like a *****'s drawers

@TalkTalk Hi Sindy, Thanks so much. I got through to your team via text and they did a few tests and seemed to fix something and after one final reboot the light is no longer flashing red and WiFi is connected again. Have a lovely day.

  • MarkFitDT

@TalkTalk My Elderly Dad's landline isnt working - no dialing tone. Run the tests and says no issues with the line but looking at your feed it seems he isnt the only one that is having the problem. He hasnt got a mobile so has no means of communication now. Can you help pls.

@TalkTalk For me to be grieving and spend hours on social media but you are sitting down and paid for it. Stop gatekeeping access to your senior executives

  • JU51LNS
    JU51LNS (@JU51LNS) reported

What a bunch of tw@ts @TalkTalk are, turning my email address off unless I pay £5 a month. Had that email c30 years. Giving no option to export address. Basically extorting money. Will let it go and never go near this business again.

  • Rob_Ranby
    Rob Ranby (@Rob_Ranby) reported

@John_the_hawk @TalkTalk I told them exactly this on the phone to their foreign call center, three times! They completely ignored me. Zero thinking outside the box or common sense. They can't help if it's not in the script in front of them.

  • GwytherDavid
    Dave G (@GwytherDavid) reported

@TalkTalk elderly parents service cut off on 29/4. They did not request this. You admitted fault. signed up again. Phoned today and was told order did not go through? New connection date 18/5. This is absolutely shocking. Please help.

  • John_the_hawk
    Marley (@John_the_hawk) reported

@TalkTalk That wasn't the point. Obviously at the point of sending that post I HAD regained access to the internet. The issue is when the internet is not available, sending a SMS link to report a fault to a website is of no use when a customer cannot access the internet! Do better!

  • Emma91808622713
    Emma (@Emma91808622713) reported

    @TalkTalk is the internet down

  • bigoltiddies
    Tigol (@bigoltiddies) reported

@JU51LNS @TalkTalk It was never YOUR email, it belonged to TalkTalk and they simply rented it to you as a perk of being subscribed to their service. You've cancelled or are cancelling so they're no longer giving you a free email and instead asking you to pay. BT does/did the same. As did/does Sky. Virginmedia just straight delete the email address after 90 days. You're making a deal out of nothing. Pay the fiver a month and use the time to port out valuable emails by forwarding them to your other email then when you're confident you've got it all transferred, cancel the payment.
