@TalkTalk I’ve just moved and my service, which was turned on two days ago, is on and off. I’ve a new hub on the way, which I know I don’t need. Can you explain why I get two hours a day only of broadband. Not the best service for a journalist on deadline

@AlexKane221b I was without internet for a week. Talktalk, but it was actually a problem with my line, not the service. Had to get an openreach engineer out. They replaced part of the line as it was apparently corroded outside our house.

I'm reading online that #talktalk are refusing to pay a 16 million pound bill as they haven't received the internet 📶 service that they both demand and require. How incredibly ironic #methinks

@TalkTalk @sucooke They never reply to DMs either. The book appointments on the wrong day then just ignore you're messages to have it corrected. I'm certain it's so they can bill you for a missed appointment

@jazlosaz @SamFras09714950 @TalkTalk After posting my issue on their community forums and filling in a form on the service section on TT’s site, they’re sending us an engineer on Tuesday. Worth getting on their forum if you haven’t, as it’s the only place where someone got back to us.

@TalkTalk The hub is plugged directly into the socket using the cable that was supplied with the hub. The hub is about a metre from the socket. The hub has a white light but internet is slow and inconsistent just like the routers were.

@Back_Two_Mee @Complyorcry Sounds wild. I go low low on all these things. Cancel ❌ them, move them. Talktalk or Plusnet (Plusnet is BT) use Now tv rather than Sky Sports etc etc

@Ruthieeee123 Aye I find it decent tbh but just depends what you’re looking for. Watch for ones who charge you to install it, talktalk where completely free the cheapest when I was moving in. My broadband runs my TV aswell as I’ve a Firestick & I’ve yet to have a problem. Good luck 👍🏻

@TalkTalk your service is absolutely awful ! I have been repeating myself for 3 days on the phone, & text because you cut off my internet! I’ve paid for my internet service- it was working fine. I don’t need an engineer. Switch it back on! @BBCWatchdog

@TalkTalk just reading your twitter. Seems I'm not the only one having issues. Is there a problem in the Newtownabbey area regarding service as the hub is acting like the router was, connection is slow and often drops out.

Positive tweet alert! In a world where I moan about everything, credit where credit is due. @TalkTalk just changed over my broadband to my new house for free, with no hassle and without me having to speak to anyone! Great customer service. Would recommend!

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Same issues with TalkTalk. Had court order appointing as deputy. Wouldn’t accept it. Kept asking for POAttorney. Wouldn’t let me pay the last bill. Inst two debt collection agencies. Sent them the order, corresp, and offer to pay. In the end they seemed to abandon it. Painful.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I had an awful experience with @talktalk when my mum’s husband passed. There should be set regulations for when customers die, it’s bad enough to deal with grief after a lives one dies without having extra stress from phone companies.
-
Bob Prydderch
(@BobPrydderch) reported
@TalkTalk Once again the ftth installers have not reconnected the cctv and alarm to the new router Wi-Fi and left an elderly customer without security. I went to reconnect the security devices. There was no 2.4ghz signal. Emanuel on customer services was useless and put the phone down.

@TalkTalk 24/7 customer service I hear you say? You have left an 80 yr old without service for a full weekend, then when I call to try to resolve things, I'm chasing you for over 6 hours as you cut me off twice and then can't be bothered to respond on your online chat. Shocking.
-
Bob Prydderch
(@BobPrydderch) reported
@TalkTalk If you are thinking of getting ftth installed ask Talktalk will they connect all the Wi-Fi devices on your existing router? I am a cctv installer and they do not reconnect IP cameras, they leave them disconnected. You will be charged for that service.

@TalkTalk Be better. If you offer something and say that you’re coming to fit a new service that wasn’t ordered and seems to be something you and / or City Fibre want to do: make sure it works. I’m now wasting MY time sorting out something of YOUR doing.
