@TalkTalk just reading your twitter. Seems I'm not the only one having issues. Is there a problem in the Newtownabbey area regarding service as the hub is acting like the router was, connection is slow and often drops out.

@TalkTalk I spoke with customer service for 45 mins to answer a single question. They were barely legible. You can't help me with costings and I can't cancel without penalties. So unless you've a magic wand -I very much doubt it!!

@TalkTalk The hub is plugged directly into the socket using the cable that was supplied with the hub. The hub is about a metre from the socket. The hub has a white light but internet is slow and inconsistent just like the routers were.

@TalkTalk your service is absolutely awful ! I have been repeating myself for 3 days on the phone, & text because you cut off my internet! I’ve paid for my internet service- it was working fine. I don’t need an engineer. Switch it back on! @BBCWatchdog

Shocking from @talktalk and @openreach. Apparently due to covid, no ONT install today as planned so I'll be left without internet for over a month till 14th Apr. Both say nothing can be done to help. NOT acceptable at all!

@TalkTalk you need to look at fixing the internet download drops that seem to be occurring since last Thursday in s35 area and stop acting like it is not an issue on your side i have been looking into this all week and can see it is specific to certain times of the day.

@TalkTalk What would your response be if I had broken the contract (that has 6 months to run) by underpaying? Court action? Suspension of service? Affected credit rating? A little unfair to advertise fixed price contracts that can be changed on a whim because too many people have signed up

Well Talktalk called the ceo office, understood immediately, refund plus some extra for all the trouble I had, Thank you Talktalk but it did take a UK associate to deal with it!

@TalkTalk I have an engineer booked for tomorrow but I had to do the chasing after the chat told me 5 days and to suck it up basically as I was a residential customer.
