mum changed our internet provider and now talktalk have just cut us off completely until the new one starts feel like i’m 15 doing everything on my phone, feel like pure shit just want my macbook back

@TalkTalk I spoke with customer service for 45 mins to answer a single question. They were barely legible. You can't help me with costings and I can't cancel without penalties. So unless you've a magic wand -I very much doubt it!!

@TalkTalk your service is absolutely awful ! I have been repeating myself for 3 days on the phone, & text because you cut off my internet! I’ve paid for my internet service- it was working fine. I don’t need an engineer. Switch it back on! @BBCWatchdog

@TalkTalk I’ve just moved and my service, which was turned on two days ago, is on and off. I’ve a new hub on the way, which I know I don’t need. Can you explain why I get two hours a day only of broadband. Not the best service for a journalist on deadline

@TalkTalk have to say the worse customer service I have ever experienced four phone calls to cancel a new service and no completed call. ... avoid

@TalkTalk The hub is plugged directly into the socket using the cable that was supplied with the hub. The hub is about a metre from the socket. The hub has a white light but internet is slow and inconsistent just like the routers were.

@TalkTalk just reading your twitter. Seems I'm not the only one having issues. Is there a problem in the Newtownabbey area regarding service as the hub is acting like the router was, connection is slow and often drops out.

@dfleesh @TalkTalk They're useless. Before now, I have told them what was wrong and told them how to fix it. That said, the most expensive providers aren't much better either. Hope you get sorted soon.

@DonJoewonSong @TalkTalk We unfortunately have them at work. The service is appalling. The "fibre" is so slow, the ticket system is by far the worst I've encountered. They closed the ticket without resolving and told me I'd have to resubmit. As soon as the contract is up they can piss off.

@TalkTalk Yes - the handset is saying 'check phone line' Everything been unplugged and plugged back in, all working fine yesterday. really bad feedback on the line and unable to hear him.

@virginmedia SORRY BUT NASTY COMPANY Sorry but no commitment, crazy overpriced, unreachable service offices & staff, no shops in Bristol, unable to receive messages or log ins but always > Sorry there is a fault ! I switched to TALKTALK, regular emails, fairly priced, reachable office/staff

TalkTalk. Teamviewer. Changing your DNS to a public domain doesn't fix the blocking issue. Go to "My Account" on TalkTalk, "My Services", "View Homesafe" and turn off Scam Protection. Just wasted 20 minutes of my life trying to remote access my work's PC.

@DonJoewonSong @TalkTalk Oh man they do have the absolute worst customer service ever. When their service works they are fine but if you ever have to speak to them good luck. Dont think ive ever scream as much in utter frustration before in my life.
