@TalkTalk @TalkTalkGroup Just had a manager from Talk Talk hang up the phone on me, because I failed the security questions. Their customer service just keeps on getting better! I advise anyone wanting to get broadband to go with anyone but Talk Talk

@Back_Two_Mee @Complyorcry Sounds wild. I go low low on all these things. Cancel ❌ them, move them. Talktalk or Plusnet (Plusnet is BT) use Now tv rather than Sky Sports etc etc

@TalkTalk I’ve just moved and my service, which was turned on two days ago, is on and off. I’ve a new hub on the way, which I know I don’t need. Can you explain why I get two hours a day only of broadband. Not the best service for a journalist on deadline

@Ruthieeee123 Aye I find it decent tbh but just depends what you’re looking for. Watch for ones who charge you to install it, talktalk where completely free the cheapest when I was moving in. My broadband runs my TV aswell as I’ve a Firestick & I’ve yet to have a problem. Good luck 👍🏻

@TalkTalk The hub is plugged directly into the socket using the cable that was supplied with the hub. The hub is about a metre from the socket. The hub has a white light but internet is slow and inconsistent just like the routers were.

Credit where it's due. I had a good experience with @TalkTalk and @WeAreOpenreach this week. I noticed our usually rock-solid internet connection (FTTC 80/20 - best we can get in our rural location) was becoming unreliable. I discovered router was now only syncing at 40Mbps down, and with lots of noise reported on the line....

@TalkTalk Thanks, you can speed up the engineer visit which would help. No WiFi means no landline to make a call for elderly, not acceptable at all. If I hadn’t gone through to disconnection dept which took over an hour fyi I would be none the wiser as I have had no response from an agent!
