Paul McCrory (@PMcCrory23) reported from Newtownards, Northern Ireland@jazlosaz @SamFras09714950 @TalkTalk After posting my issue on their community forums and filling in a form on the service section on TT’s site, they’re sending us an engineer on Tuesday. Worth getting on their forum if you haven’t, as it’s the only place where someone got back to us.

Emma B Eleets (@EmmaSteeleDJ) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland@TalkTalk @TalkTalkGroup Just had a manager from Talk Talk hang up the phone on me, because I failed the security questions. Their customer service just keeps on getting better! I advise anyone wanting to get broadband to go with anyone but Talk Talk
-
Stuart Neilly 🇬🇧🇨🇦🇹🇭 (@trublustuuk) reported from Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland@TalkTalk just reading your twitter. Seems I'm not the only one having issues. Is there a problem in the Newtownabbey area regarding service as the hub is acting like the router was, connection is slow and often drops out.
-
Kim Kelly (@KimKellyKK) reported from Castlereagh, Northern IrelandPositive tweet alert! In a world where I moan about everything, credit where credit is due. @TalkTalk just changed over my broadband to my new house for free, with no hassle and without me having to speak to anyone! Watch for ones who charge you to install it, talktalk where completely free the cheapest when I was moving in. My broadband runs my TV aswell as I’ve a Firestick & I’ve yet to have a problem. Good luck 👍🏻
-
Philip I Wilson (@internetsense) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland@TalkTalk I spoke with customer service for 45 mins to answer a single question. They were barely legible. You can't help me with costings and I can't cancel without penalties. So unless you've a magic wand -I very much doubt it!!

NI Classic Shirt Co (@niclassicshirt) reported from Newtownards, Northern Ireland@TalkTalk @KiteeKate They never reply to DMs either. The book appointments on the wrong day then just ignore you're messages to have it corrected. I'm certain it's so they can bill you for a missed appointment
-
Stuart Neilly 🇬🇧🇨🇦🇹🇭 (@trublustuuk) reported from Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland@TalkTalk The hub is plugged directly into the socket using the cable that was supplied with the hub. The hub is about a metre from the socket. The hub has a white light but internet is slow and inconsistent just like the routers were.
-
David Phelan (@DavidPMet) reported from Lisburn, Northern Ireland.@virginmedia please can you stop calling me every day? Long term customer offered £45 per month renewal, got double the speed for half the price with @TalkTalk 👏🏼 Since then, repeated calls offering £20 per month package, should have rewarded loyalty to begin with! @Ofcom
-
Emma Deighan (@EmmaDeig) reported from Dunmurry, Northern Ireland@TalkTalk I’ve just moved and my service, which was turned on two days ago, is on and off. I’ve a new hub on the way, which I know I don’t need. Can you explain why I get two hours a day only of broadband. Not the best service for a journalist on deadline
-
NI Classic Shirt Co (@niclassicshirt) reported from Newtownards, Northern Ireland@TalkTalk @sucooke They never reply to DMs either. The book appointments on the wrong day then just ignore you're messages to have it corrected. I'm certain it's so they can bill you for a missed appointment
-
Philip I Wilson (@internetsense) reported from Belfast, Northern IrelandRead the replies (this is simply awful) shameful response. Just the £7 Billion in their coffers. #talktalk and #BTSport also awful with their responses.
-
Philip I Wilson (@internetsense) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland@Back_Two_Mee @Complyorcry Sounds wild. I go low low on all these things. Cancel ❌ them, move them. Talktalk or Plusnet (Plusnet is BT) use Now tv rather than Sky Sports etc etc
-
Jonathan McCormack (@StripeyMiata) reported from Lisburn, Northern Ireland@Cruzetavia @TalkTalk @Plusnet Heard that before, but apparently the FTTP support is UK based and not outsourced.

John F Newall (@thenewalls) reported@TalkTalk I'm trying to cancel my account. I've called this number (0345 172 0088 ) and it cuts me off after placing me on hold. My online account has given me this number to call (0345 172 0099) rings and then states that is no longer in use. Please help
-
Cam 🇾🇪 (@UTDCamm) reported@paulivory1963 @TalkTalk trust me mate leave them, gave us a terrible service for years and was impossible to get hold of someone who actually cared and wanted an issue solved. Cutting us off half the time, switched to Virgin Media this year and was the best choice
-
Bharath Netha (@BharathNetha21) reported@TalkTalk My contract ended May 2026. I declined renewal, returned my router, and was explicitly promised NO fees on the phone. Now I'm being chased for a £21.05 bill (including admin fees) for a closed account! Your phones aren't connecting. DM me to fix this immediately.
-
Paul Flather (@flatherings) reportedSo then the @talktalk bot lady says she will connect me to a tech guy - just hang on - been hanging on to Talktalk with @Talktalk for 3 hours so er up for that . Well *******, I get a contact in 5 minutes a Mr Arshun but he seems to be from JAtech and he is asking for money ?
-
Ian Liles (@tempjust_Liles) reported@devilscustard @TalkTalk Another case of the big boys not giving a tuppeny for the customer. Gimme the money is all they care about. DHL have been sending me the same bill every month for 3 years. I paid it 3 years ago and sent screenshots of the bank payment. It’s harassment but they don’t give a Fck.
-
Amy (@AmyFairbrother7) reported@TalkTalk Any problems with wifi in the Lincolnshire area this morning because having trouble with connection?
-
Paul Flather (@flatherings) reportedSo then this guy asks for £1 deposit refundable I am reassured to solve my problem presumably on behalf of @Talktalk who are my erstwhile WiFi suppliers but have gone into cyberspace ….after a few exchanges he says for £22 he will connect to my system abc solve it for me ?
-
mikecee77 (@mikecee77) reported@Wins_Jenn @WallStreetApes @CAgovernor Well, it’s easier to see a problem while you are in the middle of it, then before the problem occurs… then talkTalk about it…
-
The Ancient Crone (@CroneThe86880) reported@devilscustard @TalkTalk I had HUGE trouble with them several years ago when I moved to a house where they couldn't supply any service but they continued to take my money for 6 months and ignored all my communications to them, actually threatening me with bailiffs.
-
Mark Wapples (@mark_wapples) reported@timpar1966 @TalkTalk I have been a customer for nearly twenty years. Could you explain why you are charging me.
