Customer support phone line for days has said "we're running with reduced staff today, consider going online" and eventually rings through to ... nothing. There's no online facility unless you're existing customer?

ben (@smhben) reported@TalkTalk hi - waited in for an engineer yesterday to connect my internet, never showed and now the next appointment is 12/09. engineer has said he knocked on the door and called me, didn’t do either. Unacceptable for me to have no internet for 3 weeks through no fault of mine!
