My partners mother, an elderly vulnerable adult is paying for Internet but its not working and they won't let her or her daughter discuss the account because she can't remember security questions.

(NB now with TalkTalk, also not great for customer service but OK if nothing goes wrong.)

Alex Williams (@AlexDWilliams) reported from Merthyr Tydfil, Wales@TalkTalk I raised a fault on our line on 08/06, "This fault is still in progress. We are working to get this resolved for you". It said an Engineer didn't need to come to the house but one did (twice) when we were in work. No one back since. Signal dropping constantly.

After months of dispute they referred it a debt collectors, I spoke to them n they said ok we'll close the case.

She cannot receive or make calls on her landline, and she’s on the priority register as she has an alarm dependent on the landline. I was spoken to awfully by CS, who cut me off and shouted at me. My daughter joined at same time but has been with Virgin and Sky since and had nothing but trouble. I’m hoping my luck carries on, but you never know 🤞
