Each one has told her the problem is outside the house. She hadn't been able to use the phone since Feb and each time she calls you, it is the same.

Mum is completely fed up with the same basic questions and the same response that an engineer comes and says that it is an exchange problem. Then nothing gets done.

(NB now with TalkTalk, also not great for customer service but OK if nothing goes wrong.)

This change is happening as the UK's analogue PSTN network is closing by 2025 so all Communication Providers (e.g Sky, TalkTalk, BT...) are moving people onto a VoIP service.
