@Louise_Lamb @TalkTalk Had this same issue with them. 3 months of paying for basically no internet, I had to use my phone data when I had to work from home. Absolute dog shit.Quick tip tho, they have a policy that after 28 days of reporting a problem and it not being solved, you can leave without gees.

@Effiedeans @TalkTalk @Plusnet I hsd this nonsense when my ee contract ended . The renewed contract became BT (who own EE) They needed to change to super fibre (or something) It took a month , with 2 working from home. We had a temp modem which could only connect from the loft . Dreadfuul service

@TalkTalk trying to cancel an out of contract broadband account is the hardest thing I have ever had to do! Tried three times to cancel, I have been disconnected and today was told that the system was down. Seems like you will do anything not to lose a customer!

@TalkTalk Before few months, I called @TalkTalk as I had a very old router, they send me a new one but without my approval they renew my contract for 18 months, after some time, I had some issues with my Internet, I raised two complaints, no one got back to me

@TalkTalk absolutely awful customer service/company. Trying to cancel a broadband order since Mon, spoken to 4 ppl now, all worse than previous. Just been xfered to “relevant dept” only to been pinged straight back to customer services, having to start explaining from the start!
