Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Bognor Regis and nearby locations:
-
Irvin Balagosa (@irvinbalagosa) reported from Chichester, EnglandAnyone around Chichester on @TalkTalk? They recently asked us to continue with an 18 month contract named Fibre 65 (boasts a 65mbps promise) and apparently this can only achieve up to 35 mbps. I find that unacceptable and false marketing. Anyone having the same issue?
-
Nick Gifford (@GiffordNick) reported from Findon, England@TalkTalk Yes as long as they don’t put the phone down again
-
Nick Gifford (@GiffordNick) reported from Findon, England@TalkTalk So finally cancelled the contract and but still no compensation. So I paid for a service I never had from the 12 August and 3 half days waiting for engineers that were never booked and hours of phone calls . Can you please sort this
-
That'seasy (@Declankalli98) reported from Bognor Regis, England@TalkTalk We pay for a service. If you are not providing the service than why am I paying. Another day without Internet and forget you're useless online agents who take 3 hours and still don't resolve the issue.
-
Ben Jordan (@CTIDBen) reported from Chichester, EnglandAnyone else having problems with TalkTalk. I have had no internet for 3 days now. Finding it really difficult to log into my account. Keeps kicking me out if I’m luck to get in it. Spoke to an agent via message but not resolved . #talktalk
-
Ben Jordan (@CTIDBen) reported from Chichester, England@TalkTalk My phone line has not worked for 6 months. You apparently sent an engineer out a few months ago but still not working. Now my WiFi is 5 times the speed it should be. I am a key worker and start in the community response team tomorrow and need a stable connection.
-
suzanna mashal (@boshamBaker) reported from Bosham, England@TalkTalk thank you for suggesting via customer service agents, that I was ‘confused’. Over 30 mins wasted with no resolutions or explanations. Appalling service to a customer of over 10 years.
-
Karl (@Karlross11) reported from Chichester, England@TalkTalk Yes, apparently TV is now no longer free, but I've been billed before notification, I also have multiroom but have to buy a box, so I am paying for a service I can't use
-
Savvy Sarah (Sarah Harvey) (@SavvySarahSPM) reported from Chichester, England@JWebbConsulting @TalkTalk I know BT gets a bad press but our broadband is very fast and reliable. Not the cheapest but rarely gives us problems.

-
Ruth Lampard (@ruth_lampard) reported@TalkTalk I said I want to speak to a customer service agent. That apparently was the key phrase that took me to a person. The Chat could have told me that. It didn’t. I’m have concluded the @TalkTalk chat is a poorly programmed AI designed to frustrate engagement with customers.
-
Steven A. McKay (@SA_McKay) reported@Hayz35Hw @TalkTalk I'm on live chat with them now, apparently there's some fault between them and my house so I need to do some tests. Which probably doesn't help you but suggests it's a fault at my end, so yours may resolve itself on its own soon
-
Twiggy Bigwood (@devilscustard) reported@Andy_Ross1962 @TalkTalk Sounds brilliant! We are using a Smarty sim in a mobile router. Have done for nearly a year. It’s the only way to get any WiFi. Most of my videos are uploaded on the side of the road! TalkTalk know our problems, did nothing and kept taking the cash!

SweetJane451 (@SweetJane451) reported@talktalk hello - is there a service outage or other issues with your system in the W2 area of London? Getting "connected without internet" message again, this time at at 17:05 onward on 7 July 2926. Having to use my Mobile Data. Thank you.
-
Erin (@erin_perin) reported@TalkTalk your customer service is beyond poor, I have been without reliable internet for 12 days now. Your phone team are utterly clueless and your complaints manager doesn’t phone when he says he will. How do I cancel my internet with immediate effect?
-
G (@gilbertsanchz) reportedReal world weight, then the fix. SQL injection has powered some of the largest breaches in history. The 2017 Equifax era of breaches, TalkTalk, Heartland Payment Systems: hundreds of millions of records, much of it through injection flaws. It has sat at the top of the OWASP vulnerability lists for two decades. The fixes are well known. For SQLi: parameterized queries, which keep user input permanently separated from database commands. For XSS: input validation and output encoding, so anything a user submits gets treated as text, never as runnable code. Never trust user input. Sanitize and validate everything, every time.

NUV (@NUVfilms) reported@TalkTalk & @WeAreOpenreach I’ve been left without internet for almost 48hrs. The issue is unknown, the internet randomly stopped working and I’ve been informed an engineer is on their way. I live in central London, not sure why it’s taking so long. Pls send help!

Agent PBA (@butchermatt) reported@TalkTalk If I'm moving out of a flat why send me a return bag for the routers TO THE OLD ADDRESS? I need it sending to the new address or to a friend who can post them back! Help!!!
