Has Tesco (O2) any plans to phase out 2G in the future? Obviously don't want to buy phone that will soon be obsolete.

Furious because today I had a really urgent important call with a Senior Dr, line was terrible, and dropped off 4 times. There is allegedly nothing that can be done to help and I'm locked into my contract!

This provider doesn't even have WiFi calling (which I didn't know when I signed up to them) thankfully I use WhatsApp so can make calls to certain people. But still it's getting ridiculous! 2+ years of the contract left with them too 😖😖

    (@JohnShiel7) reported@tescomobile had terrible service from Tesco Mobile. Trying to sort my Dads phone who is dying in hospital. doesn’t not know his security question and asked me to sort. No one will help without the security answer or escalate the problem. Now can’t speak to his family.
