@virginmedia 50 minutes on the phone. 6 operatives. Nobody can tell me when the fibre will be fixed. First today. Then Monday. Then the 17th. Then the 22nd. Then the 17th again. Like I said - a shambles. Service cancelled. @Ofcom @bt_uk @SkyMediaUK #hitmeup

@virginmedia 1 of 2. I’ve spent 52 minutes on the phone, spoke to 3 different people which means security 3 times. Managed to log a complaint as my service has been down since the 16th. My contact runs out in Feb so I asked about lowering from the 200mb as I won’t be home much in the new year

@virginmedia Thanks for the response. As far as I’m aware I can’t text you so you can run diagnostics. I also can’t call you free. As my phone won’t connect with your network all of a sudden. The phone is fine as the SIM card I had to buy to keep working is having no issues.

@virginmedia I’m more bothered about getting the same offers as new customers. Never understood why companies don’t value the customers they already have

I’ve never had a heartbroken ex (my last was over 30 years ago and it took her months to notice I’d gone) but I imagine it’s a similar experience to leaving @virginmedia - suddenly they’re attentive and concerned, and won’t stop asking me why I left. Bit late for that now, love.

20 minutes and counting on hold because I have to be “transferred to the department that can close accounts.” And @virginmedia are “disappointed” that their appalling customer service is one of the reasons I am closing my account.

Nice one @virginmedia you’ve lost a loyal customer as you’ve increased my bill by over £22 with no warning. Service continues to be mediocre at best and goes up every year (without fail) with no improvements. @TalkTalk @TalkTalkGroup York’s Ultra Fibre Optic here we come!

@virginmedia my fibre has been down all day so far, area 22. Tests come back as everything is okay... it’s really not

@EE There’s a distinct possibility that I’ll be switching services in the imminent future. The help from @virginmedia has been laughable. However, having spent £10 to top up the EE SIM card and then finding out I can’t contact your customer support because it costs 25p extra is rich.

It seems my @virginmedia broadband is down. Apparently if I register the fault and it’s not fixed after two full working days, then I’ll get some sort of refund off my bill… (If it’s off for that long I’ll be moving to another provider!)

@hassyafc @virginmedia Still not working! I've had to use 2 days annual leave as I can't connect to the secure network for my work... Are you going to reimburse me for that or just the piddly £8 a day I've been told?!

@virginmedia Easier said than done with 3 children at home no WiFi no tv. I’m at work so can’t contact the girls as the 4g at home is not good. I won’t be paying for this service that we haven’t received. Three to four days is totally unacceptable

@virginmedia I most certainly will not be taking anything of issue to the council as my privately owned home is not council property, and your contractors dug into my private garden therefore it's your issue and if I cant resolve it here next step will be Daniel Potts
