  • varney1987 James Varney (@varney1987) reported from York, England

Spent over an hour trying to work out why I have no internet. @virginmedia app tells me all fine in my area, the my router must be turned off. Yet the lights are on everything is connected to it. Just no internet coming through #WTF #FFS #VirginMedia #IJustWantedToWatchGoodOmens

  • dreadedwhisky Guy Rushworth (@dreadedwhisky) reported from York, England

@virginmedia Thanks for the response. As far as I’m aware I can’t text you so you can run diagnostics. I also can’t call you free. As my phone won’t connect with your network all of a sudden. The phone is fine as the SIM card I had to buy to keep working is having no issues.

  • christ1167 Chris tovey (@christ1167) reported from York, England

@virginmedia Paying too much. I can't get through by calling 150 on land line get bored after 1 hours and 27 mins of waiting. I want to stay with virgin media as all I watch is eurosport. Help please😁👍

  • GergoRagalyi Gergo Ragalyi (@GergoRagalyi) reported from York, England

@virginmedia Yes i did everything. Still no connection for nobody in the whole street. Sorry couse i couldn't fix it i am not engineer.

  • Gaarmstrong318 Geoffrey Armstrong (@Gaarmstrong318) reported from York, England

@virginmedia so pissed off with you now, had a call from your complaints department that ended up with your staff member being RUDE and AGRESSIVE with me! Seriously what ********!

  • lfcemma Emma Puckrin (@lfcemma) reported from York, England

@virginmedia Been a virgin customer for 4 years. Prices going up. Quality of service, both customer and connection going down. Give me a valid reason/s to stay with you My package going to be £90 when new cust £60

  • Gaarmstrong318 Geoffrey Armstrong (@Gaarmstrong318) reported from York, England

@virginmedia I’ve lodged another complaint for this, not entirely convinced you will fix the issues. Being force to fought up for extra CPE in order to make your piss poor service to work is frankly disgusting

  • Gaarmstrong318 Geoffrey Armstrong (@Gaarmstrong318) reported from York, England

@virginmedia well done virgin, moved into new house you come to do the setup and it’s not working right. What a sodding surprise!

  • Gaarmstrong318 Geoffrey Armstrong (@Gaarmstrong318) reported from York, England

@virginmedia I saw the disclaimer. What is really shocking is I’m having to have this out publically with you. Your offshore call centre is not fit to diagnose issues. Every times I’ve called with a major fault I’ve been told there is an area fault and to wait for it to be fixed.

  • WMattitude84 Matt W (@WMattitude84) reported from York, England

Email from @virginmedia saying my bill going up by £3 a month when I’ve had zero service for 28 hours and counting and no service for 10 days of the last month!! Great!

  • christ1167 Chris tovey (@christ1167) reported from York, England

@virginmedia On the forum one person states: I've rang 150 and have been told that Virgin Media block access to this site which I can't believe given its just a bicycle retailer but I couldn't get any further with that on the phone.  There is are more issues mentioned Kind regards Chris

  • richardbridge1 Richard Bridge (@richardbridge1) reported from York, England

@virginmedia since I have moved to you 2 months ago, my TV service has been poor and broadband speed not as promised. This is despite a no of lengthy phone calls. Before I issue formal complaint please can I ask you contact me to resolve Thanks cc @MoneyTelegraph

  • dreadedwhisky Guy Rushworth (@dreadedwhisky) reported from York, England

@EE There’s a distinct possibility that I’ll be switching services in the imminent future. The help from @virginmedia has been laughable. However, having spent £10 to top up the EE SIM card and then finding out I can’t contact your customer support because it costs 25p extra is rich.

  • GergoRagalyi Gergo Ragalyi (@GergoRagalyi) reported from York, England

@virginmedia Yeah, it said same to me as well, but the problem not in my house. I said : nobody has internet connection who use virgin media in the street! I asked them!

  • FulfordPhil Phil Marsland (@FulfordPhil) reported from York, England

@bt_uk repeated calls from allegedly BT Open Reach saying slow internet speeds/internet compromised. I'm with @virginmedia and when questioned they just hung up 01234222910 number. It's a scam to take control of your computer and get your personal data.

  • jgledhilldecor Jgledhill.decorating (@jgledhilldecor) reported from York, England

@virginmedia @crookedwoman83 Can I have a direct no to cancellation dept please keeping people on hold really doesn’t help with customer relations . Not that you seem to care

  • georgia__bh Georgia (@georgia__bh) reported from York, England

@virginmedia @_jsimpson__ I can vouch for this because I live in this house too. It doesn't work half of the time at least and we all have deadlines and need the internet. We have complained before and nothing improved.

  • fogey Gareth 🇪🇺 (@fogey) reported from York, England

Dry weather: good internet service Rain: internet fails Rain stops: internet back up again @virginmedia “Our service is working fine.”

  • GergoRagalyi Gergo Ragalyi (@GergoRagalyi) reported from York, England

@virginmedia I don't need for this, how i told the problem not in my house. There is the problem, there is the postcode, the rest is your job

  • GergoRagalyi Gergo Ragalyi (@GergoRagalyi) reported from York, England

@virginmedia I called and they said they try to fix the problem couse it's local problem. So i had true, bit i already don't care couse i ****** up. I wated my time and my money because of this. And you always doing like this every f*cking week

  • Nesphalim 🐰 🦄 Kimberly 🦄 🐰 (@Nesphalim) reported

@welsh1lad @virginmedia All VM customers are receiving them now based on my observations. #VirginMedia won't lift a finger to resolve the problem. It's clear to me that the Virgin Media customer account database has recently been stolen. They could easily block the spam at the server level.

  • bellcharlene61 Charlene (@bellcharlene61) reported

So happy @virginmedia gave me a get clause from their contract. Absolute crap service from the beggining - lazy engineer to shite speeds/connection which have gone even worse now I am leaving. Think all internet providers are bad but virgin has got to be the worst 🤬🤬🤬

  • michelepotter11 Michele Potter (@michelepotter11) reported

@castusthered @virginmedia We are with sky. Slow sometimes but otherwise ok 👍

  • DisastersR6 DisastersHappen (@DisastersR6) reported

@LawR6S Virgin Media is the fastest you will probably be able to get, however for me in my area it will go down at least once a day and speeds are inconsistent. Also the router they give is a pile of **** along with their customer support.

  • mdaz1 Me (@mdaz1) reported

@virginmedia virgin WiFi down again, I’ve piad to watch a game and cannot watch it

  • davyclarke davyclarke (@davyclarke) reported

@virginmedia can you tell me how I go about cancelling my Virgin broadband please? I agree that you may have the fastest broadband, but only when it works. I have had very intermittent service for six months so I'll find a broadband company that is consistent.

  • Nesphalim 🐰 🦄 Kimberly 🦄 🐰 (@Nesphalim) reported
