Claire Lock (@clairewoods93) reported from Worthing, England
@virginmedia It’s an ongoing issue, we’re 5 days in of no service. Just a joke now 😂. @SkyUK all you had to do was keep prices reasonable and not lose loads of football to bt and we’d be right back with you!!
-
💀☠Mel Shad ☠💀 (@mel_shad) reported from Shoreham-by-Sea, England
@leylatov @NadsShad @virginmedia The service really is very poor. I would definitely think twice if I were you. It's like it doesn't matter that we can't work etc Nobody calls you back and there us never a swift resolution. I'm so fed up today I could cry!
-
Claire Lock (@clairewoods93) reported from Worthing, England
@virginmedia I just want someone out to check my equipment and sort it. No one else I know nearby who has virgin are having half as many issues as we are. You’ve got my money now come and sort my problem out. It’s been 4 days!
-
Claire Lock (@clairewoods93) reported from Worthing, England
@kellysharman19 @virginmedia If it’s not sorted today, I’m out. They can stuff their contract and any fees they’d expect me to pay!! It’s just a shame that @SkyUK are quite expensive for the stuff we want and I find they never look after existing customers
-
Patrick Woodward (@pwvoiceovers) reported from Worthing, England
@virginmedia bb seems to be back now! Hopefully just a glitch. Service status website still down tho. Says 'oops, something's wrong'
-
💀☠Mel Shad ☠💀 (@mel_shad) reported from Shoreham-by-Sea, England
@tanyabyrne @virginmedia Exactly this. I completely accept that emergency work cannot be helped and has to be done as soon as required, but scheduled improvement work should be different. It's not okay to just cut people off without notice and then make out it's an outage.
-
💀☠Mel Shad ☠💀 (@mel_shad) reported from Shoreham-by-Sea, England
@virginmedia @NadsShad 1) you didn't notify customers that there were intermittent problems 2) your customer service line operative was very unconcerned about it when we called 3) we are home workers and need dependable services 4) yours are not dependable and nobody who works for you seems to care!
-
Claire Lock (@clairewoods93) reported from Worthing, England
Just realised my direct debit goes out today. But your department that deals with taking payments hasn’t been down for the last 4 days. Funny that 😬 @virginmedia
-
Claire Lock (@clairewoods93) reported from Worthing, England
@GeorgiaCorke @virginmedia Exactly why we left @SkyUK Shane as their service is really good. Virgin is cheaper and good packages but the service can be so up and down. They won’t send an engineer because it’s a fault in area not my equipment but a week to fix is an absolute travesty of a service!
-
Claire Lock (@clairewoods93) reported from Worthing, England
You’ve really done it now @virginmedia, another day no service and gra can’t watch the Chelsea game 😤
-
Claire Lock (@clairewoods93) reported from Worthing, England
Well done @virginmedia, everything down again and I’m told 24-48 hours until it’s fixed. On the opening weekend of the new premier league season. Magic 🙄😤
-
Claire Lock (@clairewoods93) reported from Worthing, England
Right @virginmedia it’s Friday! I expect to fully be back up and running by this afternoon as promised numerous times. If not you get someone to my house to sort it this weekend, no more crap promises down the phone! #majorlyfedupnow
-
💀☠Mel Shad ☠💀 (@mel_shad) reported from Shoreham-by-Sea, England
@leylatov @virginmedia Honestly this is pretty standard. As you are in the same area, you could even start out with this 'intermittent untraceable local fault' and have no service too! As far as I can tell, they are so big, they don't care about individual customers or holding onto their custom.
-
Claire Lock (@clairewoods93) reported from Worthing, England
@virginmedia Done all of this, nothing works, the check my status is useless as it says there’s no broadband issues but when I ring up I’m told there is.
-
💀☠Mel Shad ☠💀 (@mel_shad) reported from Shoreham-by-Sea, England
@virginmedia Called customer service line & the message says virgin is doing improvement works in my area. I accept that if its emergency works there is nothing that can be done. The reason I am cross is if you have scheduled improvement work to do, you should tell people about it before!
-
stephen leppard (@steveleppard) reported from Shoreham-by-Sea, England
When you’re on the phone to @virginmedia for 10 minutes before someone answers, then because you’re leaving they stick you on hold for another half hour (and counting) so they don’t have to deal with it. #complaint #fedup #ihavethingstodo
-
Claire Lock (@clairewoods93) reported from Worthing, England
@virginmedia It’s broadband and tv. All I can do is watch recorded shows. Can’t even get bbc itv etc. All I’m told is there’s a complex problem in the area but other people I know seem to have problems with either the tv or internet and nowhere as bad as ours. Extremely frustrating
-
Claire Lock (@clairewoods93) reported from Worthing, England
Yet more problems @virginmedia had 3 weeks of good service before going tits up again. Oh and I got a full bill when I was due compensation for and I had to ring up and rectify. You really are a crappy company
-
Claire Lock (@clairewoods93) reported from Worthing, England
I feel like all I do is ring big companies up constantly to be fobbed off about their terrible service & amounts of money they’re taking off me for that service. It’s a joke. @virginmedia and @SSE Im talking about you.Joke both of you 😡. #pissedoff #anotherdaywithnotvorinternet
-
Claire Lock (@clairewoods93) reported from Worthing, England
@virginmedia A few hours I understand but 4 days and counting is not on. No one seems to be able to give a reliable account of what the actual problem is and when it will be sorted. Just fobbed off constantly. You’ve probably been the most helpful so far.

@virginmedia pay for a film. And with 25 mins to go on demand decides to stop with various error codes and apparently no known area issues. 274 210 408 and 604. None of which are correct.
-
Joseph Morlino (@joseph_morlino) reported
Truly horrendous service for @virginmedia cancelled my services on 17/03/2023 because of the price increase, due to be disconnected yesterday but nobody actioned the disconnect so telling me I now need to give a further 30 days and pay £250 disconnection fee, joke of a company
-
techagek (@TechaGek) reported
@GoldenWriggles @virginmedia That's awful, trouble is salesmen at ISPs don't know how to simplify anything they're talking about to the average consumer. They're worse than actual con-men, and care no more than trying to push a sale, a deal or something that is on promotion.
-
Kenny L55 (@kdy1303) reported
@Trisha121153 @virginmedia Used them, not together, get all the boxes ticked, copy it to confirm……bad password, no special characters………..%(*&#+/😡
-
Gaz Wilson (@25GWilson) reported
@virginmedia Why don't you give refunds when connection is lost/poor due to outages - causing lost work, streaming access, gaming progress or whatever the customer pays these extortionate rates for?
-
Melika Jeddi (@MelikaJ93) reported
@virginmedia No, I'm not, I'm going away on Monday and have been very busy hence why I specifically made time earlier on for the chat. I'm incredibly disappointed, compounded by the fact that I'm still having internet issues and it went out twice yesterday.
-
Ryan Kettlestring (@RyanRsk99) reported
@virginmedia any fix to the hub 4 flashing white then flashing blue 5 times? Been doing this all morning
-
Dan 🏴🇪🇺🚴♂️ (@eggynewydd) reported
Looks like @virginmedia broadband problems in #Cardiff again.
-
Trisha Mills (@Trisha121153) reported
@kdy1303 @virginmedia Special character is a * ! ? # It's an nightmare, isn't it. I've got a wee book I bought on Amazon especially for keeping passwords in. Hubby is the world's worst for not remembering his. Constantly changing them because he can't remember! Good luck.

Rich (@rbro84) reported
@virginmedia are you aware of issues with your online payments? I get to the box where I have to authorise in my banking app but the page won't scroll, to let me confirm I've authorised it in my app, so the payment won't go through, I've tried two different browsers.
