@virginmedia No, not at the moment! Guess what? Yep, your broadband is down in my area in #brighton. Well done, sterling service. You must be really proud. I have artwork to upload to my website and can't. And all you are going to do is say "sorry". That really won't help, it'll irritate.

  • MrBrianRoe
Brian Roe (@MrBrianRoe) reported from Brighton and Hove, England

@virginmedia your DNS TTL (a web server change time to live) is probably the worst on earth. My new website works everywhere in the world other than on #virginmedia broadband. You absolutely suck, big time. Crock of shite.

  • alternativeage
Alternative Ageing (@alternativeage) reported from Saltdean, England

@virginmedia I have it for years and was told it was quite old by techies improving my signal around the house (AMPLIFI ) But if there isn't anything else, so be it. Many thanks .

  • churchlard
Churchlard (@churchlard) reported from Sompting, England

@virginmedia @52marathonman They are useless, had an installation due on Wednesday of this week, they emailed me Wednesday morning to say they couldn’t instal as they had been unable to gain access on Monday. Never did they mention needing access on Monday, and I was home all day and no one rang bell!!

  • GrassHoppus
Ellie Cole 🐆 (@GrassHoppus) reported from Hove, England

@virginmedia how can you charge a disconnection fee for a service I never renewed and disconnected the day my contract ended? Absolutely ridiculous and I'm still being charged for the contract I never renewed!

  • melon_h
Helen Rimmer 💙 🔶️ (@melon_h) reported from Burgess Hill, England

@virginmedia This is still appalling customer service. I have to register (I did this when things were down in Dec for almost 72 hours), I have to alert etc you are the service provider. How is it good CS that we assume you are lying in estimates? No compensation for Dec either.

  • Luciddestiny
Warren Ryan Philips (@Luciddestiny) reported from Shoreham-by-Sea, England

@brooktop68 @virginmedia @bridgetmck We’ve turned the Superhub to Modem Mode and picked up separate WiFi routers. Resolved most of our issues immediately and we rarely get drop outs. Invest in a decent router or Mesh, you won’t regret it.

  • MrBrianRoe
Brian Roe (@MrBrianRoe) reported from Brighton and Hove, England

@virginmedia You maybe there, but you'll drop the call...again, and again, and then once more for luck. Bloody awful expireince trying to phone you. Not something I'm willing to repeat.

  • churchlard
Churchlard (@churchlard) reported from Sompting, England

@virginmedia @52marathonman Now have to wait until 19th July, absolute rubbish, apparently they had no contact details for me, yet had sent me 17 emails and a similar number of texts! Appalling service, so much for being new business!

  • melon_h
Helen Rimmer 💙 🔶️ (@melon_h) reported from Burgess Hill, England

@virginmedia But why do we have to keep looking for information. Is there no way of updating the customer directly, it is appalling customer communication. What is the problem? Why just keep putting estimates? If it isn't going to be fixed for 48 hours tell us.

  • melon_h
Helen Rimmer 💙 🔶️ (@melon_h) reported from Burgess Hill, England

@virginmedia Yes it says there is a known fault which has been going on since Friday at 7pm. No further explanation and the estimate fix just keeps resetting. It is absolutely unacceptable.

  • barbados10
chris rose (@barbados10) reported from Shoreham-by-Sea, England

@virginmedia very quick to take £130 per month for services but very slow to fix it when things go wrong let’s check for Sky! #customerservice #unhappycustomer #bringbackRichardBranson

  • melon_h
Helen Rimmer 💙 🔶️ (@melon_h) reported from Burgess Hill, England

Hi @virginmedia any news on why our broadband and TV haven't worked since 7pm yesterday in Burgess Hill? No comms and status update just says you are aware with an expected fix moving on in time...

@virginmedia Well... @VodafoneUK also invest around about the same amount of money in their network, and they haven't increased the prices anywhere near as much as you have. And I'm always connected whenever I'm outside the house. No issues with connectivity whatsoever.

  • amredmond73
    ann marie redmond (@amredmond73) reported

@virginmedia Yes then it did nothing so I just gave up ...I can only do it so many times with the same outcome ....I feel quite let down as a long term customer I am paying for services that aren't good praying your technician fixes the problem as I can't carry on the way I am going

  • dave_pommy
    R5-L4 (@dave_pommy) reported

@virginmedia tried everything…it may be something an outage causes once or twice..this is ongoing and has been for 2 yrs, and your whole fault reporting system is horrendous/impossible to the point you have to lie to get past the automated messages and speak to a human being, I’ve given up

  • girthmoon
    Gareth Royall (@girthmoon) reported

@virginmedia I'm leaving because of your crazily high prices. I've managed to sort out cancellation, although when I asked the agent they didn't mention I could write in to cancel. I'd rather that than close to five hours in online chat.

  • OTBC69
    OTBC (@OTBC69) reported

@virginmedia Thanks for reply. Following upgrade, link to Netflix activation is not working. Upgrade to 360 not working due to a glitch your end. Not being resolved by customer services who bounce me between retention and tech team.

  • DiamondMatt
    Matt Wordingham (@DiamondMatt) reported

@virginmedia I appreciate that, but this happens virtually every match day when we continue to not get a service we have paid for. 'Sorry' just doesn't cut it anymore - when will we start to receive a refund?
