    @virginmedia Eventually yes but had to go though the sales team first I get with the COVID situation it’s more tricky than normal but the 150 line though is appalling to be cut off after waiting spending nearly two hours is really poor service guys the people I did speak to were very helpful

    @virginmedia We tried valiantly. After being let down again on the basics of simply getting us our equipment and getting us online we did eventually manage to speak to someone. Thankfully we managed to cancel and go back to Sky and never need to deal with Virgin Media ever again!

    @virginmedia Are you able to advise IF this is going to be fixed, yesterday you said by 10am today. Then 2pm,6pm & now 10am tomorrow - could live with the loss of either service but it’s really impacting not having either!

    @dazzleeds @virginmedia That’s because the router will auto connect without password to show you a diagnostics page to let you self test for issues (no good here as it’s on VM side) once service is back the router will resume normal security mode

    @virginmedia I have no tv service what’s going on this is 3 nights running now that the picture has all broken up and suddenly it won’t even load the channels I’m paying £130 for this it’s not good enough

    Paid @virginmedia £25.95 to watch #JoshuaPulev and the picture is unwatchable. Engineer fix estimate of 11.20pm for an event that starts at 10pm is no use to anyone. #Iwantmymoneyback

    @virginmedia I only found this out by talking to the engineers working at getting us all attached again, down our road, but if we don't know this, it looks as though it is your equipment which is at fault. To be fully kept up to speed with real info, will stop nightmare thoughts from growing.

    @virginmedia Looked for a moment like it was back, both the TiVo and router self restarted - is this meant to happen as part of work that may be being done?, unfortunately hasn’t resulted in restoration of service. Confirmed on service page it’s still an outage in the area

    @virginmedia are you able to check on a fault by location for me. I don’t have access to the VM account but the last I heard was it should of been resolved by 10am today and it’s still down, account holder won’t be available for hours to check

    @virginmedia A problem, which I'd like you to address, is that we don't know what the problem is. Last time this happened in October it turned out that the waterworks people had dug through 15 cables and it all had to be reattached.

    @Ebb1 @virginmedia Thanks, I know how to cancel and now have a free invitation to cancel (though your suggestion doesn't actually work, they ensure that you pay the remaining balance of your contract). My issue is that I am about 4months into a contract and they are revising the terms midway!
