@virginmedia He refused to file our complaint because of this. We feel treated like dirt from start and actually relived they can’t connect because the ‘first impressions’ were utterly disgusting. We have decided to sign up with @bt_uk who going to connect us #virginmedia #bt

@yorkshirerosie @virginmedia Agree. Might just be a faulty router. Unless you live in a castle there shouldn’t be a problem in the room next to the router. I’m in the garden and my router is 20m away in the front room.

@virginmedia This so called frontline customer service was absolutely shoddy. We both couldn’t understand how 3 weeks after we ordered the services and that the external was already done they finally realised that they couldn’t connect us.We heard nothing from virgin #virginmedia

@yorkshirerosie @virginmedia I think your issue is that you are furthest from the cabinet. Therefore everyone else is getting the capacity first. @virginmedia The engineer came & said it was a problem with the electrics to the box in the street, he also changed the cable to a different position in the same box, since then the the internets been ok, a little slow, it kept cutting out when speaking to my sister, she called me on landline

@yorkshirerosie @virginmedia 64mb is ok but if you were getting 150mb then I expect you’d notice it. Good news is. It’s not your issue. It means that theres either a fault on the line, or there’s too many people using it at the same time. It’s called “contention”. Have you called your supplier?

@virginmedia After asking why we wasnt told so we could make other arrangements we was told that they assumed we already knew. When clearly wasnt the case and was just left in the Lerch! We decided we wanted to make a complaint and asked to be forwarded #virginmedia.

Well done @virginmedia the last 6 weeks has been the worst customer service experience in my 68 yrs on this planet. No coordination; lack of understanding about your own products; broken promises on call backs (I could go on). If anyone out there considering using them - DON’T.
