  • MrBrianRoe Brian Roe (@MrBrianRoe) reported from Brighton and Hove, England

@virginmedia your DNS TTL (a web server change time to live) is probably the worst on earth. My new website works everywhere in the world other than on #virginmedia broadband. You absolutely suck, big time. Crock of shite.

  • fabsalva Fabrizio Salvatore (@fabsalva) reported from Woodingdean, England

@virginmedia is there a known issue in the BN2 6 area of Brighton with your broadband? Crashed at 14:30 and hub seems to be unable to rejoin the network...

  • AnneWebb777 Anne Webb (@AnneWebb777) reported from Brighton and Hove, England

@virginmedia what the hell is wrong with your system. Impossible to report a fault! No contact available just going round in circles. Landline not worked for a week now 🤬 you really are the pits, can’t even cancel this crappy service £109.75 paid this month!!!!

  • AnneWebb777 Anne Webb (@AnneWebb777) reported from Brighton and Hove, England

@virginmedia @briamjam Here to help??? Is this a joke?

  • AnneWebb777 Anne Webb (@AnneWebb777) reported from Brighton and Hove, England

@virginmedia @fawizium Impossible to contact anyone through phone, absolutely dreadful service as per usual. How do you sleep at night? £105.75 this month 🤬🤬

  • barbados10 chris rose (@barbados10) reported from Shoreham-by-Sea, England

@virginmedia very quick to take £130 per month for services but very slow to fix it when things go wrong let’s check for Sky! #customerservice #unhappycustomer #bringbackRichardBranson

  • churchlard Churchlard (@churchlard) reported from Sompting, England

@virginmedia @52marathonman Now have to wait until 19th July, absolute rubbish, apparently they had no contact details for me, yet had sent me 17 emails and a similar number of texts! Appalling service, so much for being new business!

  • melon_h Helen Rimmer 💙 🔶️ (@melon_h) reported from Burgess Hill, England

Hi @virginmedia any news on why our broadband and TV haven't worked since 7pm yesterday in Burgess Hill? No comms and status update just says you are aware with an expected fix moving on in time...

  • Luciddestiny Warren Ryan Philips (@Luciddestiny) reported from Shoreham-by-Sea, England

@brooktop68 @virginmedia @bridgetmck We’ve turned the Superhub to Modem Mode and picked up separate WiFi routers. Resolved most of our issues immediately and we rarely get drop outs. Invest in a decent router or Mesh, you won’t regret it.

  • AnneWebb777 Anne Webb (@AnneWebb777) reported from Brighton and Hove, England

@virginmedia @KikeKD 150 NOT WORKING FROM ANY PHONE

  • richardscovell 🏳️‍🌈 #SociallyDistancingRick 🏳️‍🌈 (@richardscovell) reported from Brighton and Hove, England

3/4 T&Cs: Moving home outside of or within the Virgin Media Network service area “If you move within our service area, we cannot guarantee to provide you services, if we are unable to provide services, then you can cancel and you will not need to pay an early disconnection fee”

  • melon_h Helen Rimmer 💙 🔶️ (@melon_h) reported from Burgess Hill, England

@virginmedia Yes it says there is a known fault which has been going on since Friday at 7pm. No further explanation and the estimate fix just keeps resetting. It is absolutely unacceptable.

  • melon_h Helen Rimmer 💙 🔶️ (@melon_h) reported from Burgess Hill, England

@virginmedia But why do we have to keep looking for information. Is there no way of updating the customer directly, it is appalling customer communication. What is the problem? Why just keep putting estimates? If it isn't going to be fixed for 48 hours tell us.

  • AnneWebb777 Anne Webb (@AnneWebb777) reported from Brighton and Hove, England

@virginmedia Tried it several times - it says there are no issues. Our phone can’t ring out, constant sound of a message being there (intermittent beep) but nothing happens when trying to use it. People can’t hear us when we answer. Bought brand new phones and still the same.

  • melon_h Helen Rimmer 💙 🔶️ (@melon_h) reported from Burgess Hill, England

@virginmedia This is still appalling customer service. I have to register (I did this when things were down in Dec for almost 72 hours), I have to alert etc you are the service provider. How is it good CS that we assume you are lying in estimates? No compensation for Dec either.

  • pwvoiceovers Patrick Woodward (@pwvoiceovers) reported from Worthing, England

@virginmedia You asked me to contact you to fix an issue but there are no options to do so. Phone number, when I found it, just led to a bot. Poor service.

  • AnneWebb777 Anne Webb (@AnneWebb777) reported from Brighton and Hove, England

@virginmedia That doesn’t help@if I can’t join the forum is it?? How does anyone get through to someone who CAN do something??

  • richardscovell 🏳️‍🌈 #SociallyDistancingRick 🏳️‍🌈 (@richardscovell) reported from Brighton and Hove, England

1/4 Customer scam alert: When moving and contacting @virginmedia to transfer your services to your new property, if they cannot provide services there they will apply an early disconnection charge which they will state is in accordance with their Legal Stuff, do not accept this.

  • churchlard Churchlard (@churchlard) reported from Sompting, England

@virginmedia @52marathonman They are useless, had an installation due on Wednesday of this week, they emailed me Wednesday morning to say they couldn’t instal as they had been unable to gain access on Monday. Never did they mention needing access on Monday, and I was home all day and no one rang bell!!

  • AnneWebb777 Anne Webb (@AnneWebb777) reported from Brighton and Hove, England

@virginmedia no landline for weeks and impossible to report. Sick of your company. Can’t even get through to CANCEL contract £105.75 this month maybe you will get in touch if I cancel next payment 🤬🤬

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • neonblue82uk Francine (@neonblue82uk) reported

@virginmedia Your text bot system on 07533051809 that you advised us to contact doesn't work. Delays between messages and repeats the details incorrectly. So I am guessing when we finally speak to am agent we will have to go through it all again! Utterly appalling!!

  • 43_claire Claire Roberts 43 (@43_claire) reported

@virginmedia I am free now I'm going out later and I would like this matter sorted as soon as possible I have phoned up but all I get told is there is a problem in the area and the last problem with back in april and I'm sick and tired of things going wrong with the phone line for my parents

  • irnbug Irn Bug (@irnbug) reported

@virginmedia my mum is elderly and cannot get her Virgin 360 box to come out of standby. I have tried to fix this remotely but had no luck. I am a 90 min trip away to fix this in person, and she can't do telephone support very well. Can I give more details by DM?

  • peterbegley Peter Begley 🙂 (@peterbegley) reported

@virginmedia no service for me in Dublin 12 for almost an hour now. Planned maintenance?

  • Bag_on_line Reenelou (@Bag_on_line) reported

Moving home and I need broadband but no phone or telly or all that ****. What's the best price you can give me @virginmedia I would use the website but it's stupidly complex for me to navigate.

  • semper_instans Kyle (@semper_instans) reported

@virginmedia Still the same. I tried talking to web chat about it a few days ago, but they struggled to understand what I was having an issue with and merely repeated the usual account creation process.

  • CaoimheSweetman Caoimhe Sweetman (@CaoimheSweetman) reported

@virginmedia Hi guys, I'm trying to cancel my account, how long can I expect to be on hold for? 30 mins and counting so far ...

  • DK_Grinding DK Grinding LTD (@DK_Grinding) reported

@virginmedia But like I said I’m getting no better Wi-fi signal as too when I was on a lower package? So what’s the point

  • irnbug Irn Bug (@irnbug) reported

@virginmedia No. So if she turns off the Virgin box entirely and starts it back up she sees the loading / welcome message on TV. The box then goes direct to standby (red light and no signal on TV) after finishing load. The remote works - she can use the top left button to turn off TV.

  • Bobby_Dazzler68 Darren Carson (@Bobby_Dazzler68) reported from Corby, England

@virginmedia No, basically I upgraded my BB a few months ago and the service actually has got worse. I now struggle to maintain a signal in upstairs rooms and Netflix etc constant drop outs
