    @virginmedia I appreciate your response but I did get through to an agent and the response I got was quite frankly appalling. The only thing that link says is there is a problem with using the app. This is a problem that has now been going on for weeks

    @virginmedia and you would get back to me (VM) After a couple of months I spoke to a young man in customer service who said it was something you offered and as I had issues with my landline he would get someone to call me about it ASAP this could take 72hrs &still waiting

    @virginmedia hi I’ve got to say I’m extremely disappointed by your customer service with upgrading my phone I called to upgrade on Monday and everything got though to including credit checks and the reply was sorry we’ve got to do back off checks and I’ve still heard nothing back

    @tanyabyrne @virginmedia Exactly this. I completely accept that emergency work cannot be helped and has to be done as soon as required, but scheduled improvement work should be different. It's not okay to just cut people off without notice and then make out it's an outage.

    @virginmedia Called customer service line & the message says virgin is doing improvement works in my area. I accept that if its emergency works there is nothing that can be done. The reason I am cross is if you have scheduled improvement work to do, you should tell people about it before!

    @virginmedia Unfortunately, your connect app won't make up for the quality of the router. I can tell you channel & signal strength of every router in the area. Your equipment is one of your biggest weaknesses.

    @virginmedia There's never an issue in the status page, we sign in and request report it and it reboots but nothing changes. We call and can never speak to anyone either. We're both uni students working from home so you can imagine the impact this has.

    @virginmedia finding it impossible to contact you through conventional means. We have a cable loose on the front of the house, feeding into a virgin box. I have temporarily fixed it, but it needs a permanent fix.

    @virginmedia I’m pretty sure the problem is I had electricians in yesterday and they’ve done something to the cable when they were drilling but there’s no option anywhere to report that kind of thing. Just know I’m not able to fix it and all tests are normal your end.

    Heads up...@virginmedia have sent me an email containing personal billing details for someone else. They have now confirmed that it is a legit customer of theirs but they can't see who sent the email, where from or why. I've been reassured that my details are safe though...
