@virginmedia and you would get back to me (VM) After a couple of months I spoke to a young man in customer service who said it was something you offered and as I had issues with my landline he would get someone to call me about it ASAP this could take 72hrs &still waiting

@virginmedia I appreciate your response but I did get through to an agent and the response I got was quite frankly appalling. The only thing that link says is there is a problem with using the app. This is a problem that has now been going on for weeks

@virginmedia hi I’ve got to say I’m extremely disappointed by your customer service with upgrading my phone I called to upgrade on Monday and everything got though to including credit checks and the reply was sorry we’ve got to do back off checks and I’ve still heard nothing back

@tanyabyrne @virginmedia Exactly this. I completely accept that emergency work cannot be helped and has to be done as soon as required, but scheduled improvement work should be different. It's not okay to just cut people off without notice and then make out it's an outage.

@virginmedia It was an automated phone message saying my postcode would be down until 3pm for upgrade works. It would be nice to have been informed of this in advance. It is working again now.

@virginmedia Called customer service line & the message says virgin is doing improvement works in my area. I accept that if its emergency works there is nothing that can be done. The reason I am cross is if you have scheduled improvement work to do, you should tell people about it before!

@virginmedia been trying to cancel contract for 2 days as moving home (not switching/moving broadband) but impossible as lines are busy + not picking up. there has to be another way to cancel a contract if cust. serv. unable to pick up calls instead of holding customers hostage?

@virginmedia Issues don’t show up on the test because I can only run the tests when the WiFi is working and not when it cuts out. So I can’t use the text to book a technician. I was sent a link to an online chat before on Twitter- could we do that and I can book through that?
