  • robbo_1962 Peter Robinson (@robbo_1962) reported from Dumbarton, Scotland

@virginmedia I just turned everything off at the mains and restarted it all and that seems to have sorted it. Don’t know why I didn’t think to try that before. Thanks for your help and suggestions 👍

  • robbo_1962 Peter Robinson (@robbo_1962) reported from Dumbarton, Scotland

Since upgrading to @virginmedia M200 broadband the sound and vision in our tv keeps going out of sync. Does anyone know why and if there’s a solution? Thanks

  • cocobrown1973 Coco Brown (@cocobrown1973) reported from Dumbarton, Scotland

@virginmedia Yeah I got it sorted however 1hr on a phone line at 30p per minute is not cheap taking a full hour to sort something that is simple is very poor customer service especially for loyal customers

  • dee_mcbee Dee McBee (@dee_mcbee) reported from Greenock, Scotland

Internet not working in pa14 area, website says there are no problems in my area @virginmedia

@virginmedia So channel's 1-5 are back up but all other channel's are still showing error cod (v53), whats the issue @virginmedia ???

  • garydg7 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Gary ScottishEagle 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 (@garydg7) reported from Greenock, Scotland

@virginmedia Your customer service is absolutely shocking. You have cut off a vulnerable pensioner twice in the past 72 hours for reasons of your own error, leaving her with no means of communication whilst apparently being unable to fix the issue for 24 hours. Shocking! 🤬

  • robbo_1962 Peter Robinson (@robbo_1962) reported from Dumbarton, Scotland

@virginmedia I’ve done all that and it always says “no issues” but often when you get through on the phone you’re told there are and engineers are working on it. I’m just fed up of having to go through all the tests and restarts every time I want to record something or watch catch-up tv

  • Susie61180 Susie (@Susie61180) reported from Greenock, Scotland

@virginmedia all my channels including freeview ones are giving the message 'channel not authorised' this morning, I've rebooted and still the same, any help please??

  • garydg7 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Gary ScottishEagle 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 (@garydg7) reported from Greenock, Scotland

@virginmedia Not only that, when pointing out to your CS team that the account holder was a vulnerable person, my wife was advised "what do you want me to do with that?" By the operator. Shameful. Fix her issue and stop cutting her off for no reason!!

  • Dronexscape DroneXscape Media (@Dronexscape) reported from Kilbirnie, Scotland

@virginmedia just off phone to one of your call handlers all my devices keep getting cut off from the wifi hub handler refusing to help unless I spend money for pods I've never had such bad customer service from a company

  • annemclean66 Anne McLean (@annemclean66) reported from Dumbarton, Scotland

@virginmedia How do I get through to a human to discuss a problem with my neighbours Virgin account?

  • robbo_1962 Peter Robinson (@robbo_1962) reported from Dumbarton, Scotland

@virginmedia Just tried that, still not working

  • robbo_1962 Peter Robinson (@robbo_1962) reported from Dumbarton, Scotland

@virginmedia I’m paying for 200mbps and sometimes I achieve that, like now, but I still can’t watch @BBCiPlayer without constant buffering. This “local” issue was supposed to be sorted. Seriously considering other options to watch @BBCMOTD

  • rmariet7 🎄Marie🎄 (@rmariet7) reported from Greenock, Scotland

@DannyWoodwad Been there when my mum had Virgin media. If I continue having problems, I will be changing.

  • garydg7 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Gary ScottishEagle 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 (@garydg7) reported from Greenock, Scotland

@virginmedia ... my wife who has authority to speak on her account on her behalf has been unsuccessfully trying to get you to once again resolve the issue. As it stands, we have been advised someone will be in touch within 24 hours. Unacceptable!! My mother in law lives alone

Virgin Media Issues Reports

  • missjessjenkins Jessica Jenkins (@missjessjenkins) reported

@virginmedia All done now (hopefully). I work for a living so being on a call for ages doesn't work for me. So the WhatsApp option is actually VERY useful. The agents just need to listen to what they are being told.

  • million__media Neil Cartwright (@million__media) reported

WFH nightmare - Internet goes down last Sunday. Call @virginmedia. "It will be fixed Tuesday". Thursday, I finally receive a text saying it's fixed. Er, no, it's not. "We can get an engineer out to you next Tuesday". Thanks. Thanks a lot.

  • MissLondon199 Sheikha+Viscountess (@MissLondon199) reported

@TheSun @virginmedia they are not sorted even though they promised by 4 pm. And outage was since the day before yesterday Very very poor. Leaving @virginmedia at the earliest opportunity

  • robinnarayan Robin 🌍 (@robinnarayan) reported

@virginmedia Thanks for your prompt response. It is still unclear where the issue lies. I can connect to the hub which confirms that WiFi, broadband and phone functions are operating. WiFi works perfectly on mobile devices ( only at close proximity) I've switched LAN cables on desktop no joy

  • __Tony___ TonyParker (@__Tony___) reported

@vmbusiness and still my Router won’t allow me to use guest network, thinking of cancelling now finding telephone help desk no help at all

  • daz4126 ✨DAZ (@daz4126) reported

@virginmedia your complaints procedure is ridiculous. All you do is say that there is no complaint to answer - apparently your contracts don't mean anything any you can just put the price up all the time #thieves Your customer service is #appalling

  • anton31318751 anton (@anton31318751) reported

@virginmedia I have already spoke to someone at customer service but still crap service and rubbish internet anyway we don't need to message again I am just talking to someone at BT and going with them will be cancelling virgin tomorrow and will be advising everyone to never use virgin

  • slynch23 Sean Lynch (@slynch23) reported

@virginmedia They gave me a reference number but didn’t say how long it would take. Why is something so simple such an issue to solve?

  • reado1978 simon (@reado1978) reported

@virginmedia I gave notice in April we were moving, feel things should have been ready and I shouldn’t have to wait until June for internet. I understand there have been some challenges but I think it’s reasonable to expect someone out sooner especially as an excising customer of seven years
