David Rice (@DavidRice22) reported from Poole, England@virginmedia You didn’t mention the refund that Virgin Media clients should be getting. Reputational damage is one thing, but unless these repeated service outages cost your shareholders money, things won’t improve.
-
carl mieleszko (@AFCBCarl) reported from Poole, England@virginmedia I don’t think you understand do you!! not just surrounding areas, this is misinformation and is causing your customers 30miles away from Southampton to waste time checking with work it support, windows it support, and pissing about with their routers because your not honest
-
Michael Darracott (@chefmike56) reported from Bournemouth, England@virginmedia In thse hard times is virgin media aware that so many people not happy could so easily join somewhere else eventually making your company go bust . The service is dire
-
carl mieleszko (@AFCBCarl) reported from Bournemouth, England@benedictsf @virginmedia @skytv @BT That’s good but I have had nothing but issues with sky broadband in the past! Touch wood apart from today I haven’t had any issues with BT for 18months
-
5G.ordon Fong (🍸🦐🦀🥋) (@GordonFong) reported from Bournemouth, EnglandI actually spoke to the #virginmedia engineer who had to fix the fibres in Southampton the other week. A utilities company had cut through them down by the roundabout at the end of the M271 he said. Up all day doing that of which was done by another company!
-
Elayne (@elayne100360) reported from Bournemouth, England@mmould_pooleNHS @virginmedia Hear hear, my ombudsman complaint is still ongoing, they do not tell the truth about what they have done & customer service non existent.
-
David Rice (@DavidRice22) reported from Poole, England@virginmedia Whether broadband is a utility or not is a point of view. From my perspective, it’s a utility. I accept no supplier can guarantee service. VM may be just be on an unlucky streak. Your service is presently not something I trust - based on current experience.
-
Steve Fall (@steve_fall) reported from Poole, England@virginmedia broadband down in BH12. My mobile reception is poor.. Any news on a fix. #WorkingFromHome
-
Neil (@gilly8049) reported from Bournemouth, England@virginmedia It says there are no known issues. I've taken the white cable out and reconnected and rebooted and it makes no difference. Some sky sports channels are not working and just show error w02! This happens far too often!
-
Lauren Tompkins (@LaurenSTompkins) reported from Bournemouth, Englandthanks @virginmedia I don’t have a working service as you say I have a bill to pay. According to the records next bill payment is due 04/05 but because your new installation charges are so high I’ve gone over the credit limit.
-
Natalie Griffiths (@Natalie05490147) reported from Bournemouth, England@virginmedia I’m disappointed in the lack of service! I’m a vulnerable customer and yet they don’t seem to be bothered by this fact! I get promised call backs and they never happen... I’m left with no facilities
-
Natalie Griffiths (@Natalie05490147) reported from Bournemouth, England@virginmedia I’m awaiting a call back from a manager to confirm from the new customer team that he can get a quick start pack out to me ASAP due to my unique circumstances. The manager John said he or a colleague would call me by Saturday. It’s now Thursday and I’ve heard nothing!
-
Natalie Griffiths (@Natalie05490147) reported from Bournemouth, England@virginmedia you offer the most horrendous service ever! 3 call backs promised and not received one! My quick start pack was supposed to arrive yesterday but didn’t. No communication what so ever! Unbelievably bad I would definitely not recommend
-
Jenny Palmer (@jennyjanepalmer) reported from Bournemouth, EnglandAre you joking @virginmedia broadband down again, this is at least the 3rd time in a few weeks.. and started before everyone started working at home..
-
Lauren Tompkins (@LaurenSTompkins) reported from Poole, EnglandInteresting how @virginmedia can tweet messages on twitter but ignore messages from customers. Shows how bad their customer services are. Don’t blame Corona either.
-
Matt Lawrence 📣 (@mattjlawrence) reported from Bournemouth, EnglandPlease @virginmedia learn from the banks and offer your customers the option to pause services or waive cancellation charges for people losing their jobs. £80 to take TV off my plan after 15 years as a customer is not helpful
-
Michael Darracott (@chefmike56) reported from Bournemouth, England@virginmedia I work online and am really angry I have been unable to run my business so far today .. I entrust my working life to your firm and it's worse than crap
-
Louise Busfield (@no1toerag) reported from Bournemouth, EnglandHow do I cancel @virginmedia if no one answers the phone or messages
-
David Rice (@DavidRice22) reported from Poole, England@virginmedia Right this second, no. But it’s becoming clear that I cannot rely upon the service. It really is a utility. My water, gas & electricity all seem to run smoothly but not my broadband service. It is very frustrating.
Virgin Media Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
tim little (@timlittlecom) reportedDear @virginmedia having called three times, kept on hold for over an hour and then mysteriously cut off each time while I was trying to cancel my contract because you don’t have services at my new address, I’m starting to think this is an actual policy of yours. #shocking
-
Rugby Web Design (@rugbywebdesign) reported@virginmedia Trying to speak to someone! I'm not a customer, so can't get through the automation on the phone, and your online chatbot is sending me round in circles - Whatever happened to real people?
-
Andy Fox (@_ACFox) reported@virginmedia A further conversation indicated again that the automatic compensation has been incorrectly applied. We would not have got off the phone without a satisfactory resolution in the first instance, and only got off the phone when your representative advised that we could get 2/?
-
The Coffee Lab (@The_Coffee_Lab) reported@virginmedia why is it whenever I actually need to speak to customer services I end up ranting on Twitter before someone listens? Can you get someone to contact me PLEASE!?
-
Phil Bradish (@BradOwl) reported@OnlineracingTs @virginmedia That's daylight robbery, I would just move without telling em and cancel direct debit.
-
Dawn Benson (@dawnbensonart) reported@virginmedia It does not work, your 'teams' pass buck, do not care. Everyone sick to death of your refusal to resolve issues. A system that worked now does not so according to your team I now have to buy or rent mesh pods, not nec before! sounds like a plan to make more ££££. contact me
-
Sirus (@SyrusThaVyrus) reported@virginmedia and that she had the email in front of her on her screen. As I missed the deadline to apply for the credit, I couldn't be offered it now. That in itself seemed harsh. She filed a complaint on my behalf too, I was told someone would look into it and call me back. Checked my email
-
Andy Fox (@_ACFox) reported@virginmedia We were told otherwise regarding compensation, by the representative who opened the complaint for us. We checked a number of times that this was the case before incurring any consequential costs, and it was confirmed that compensation would cover these. 1/2
-
Chloe Johnston (@ce_johnston) reported@virginmedia can you arrange a call back? I’ve been on hold forever trying to cancel my contract. If there was another way I’d do it, but surprise surprise - VM says the only way to cancel is to call! Ridiculous when wait times are this high.
-
Sirus (@SyrusThaVyrus) reported@virginmedia Sorry for getting back late. In hindsight, it's a good thing I did - its now gone from one complaint to multiple. Genuinely shocked at the service I have received. I'll try and explain in chronological order the horrible few days of 'customer service' I have had...
