  • DavidRice22 David Rice (@DavidRice22) reported from Poole, England

@virginmedia You didn’t mention the refund that Virgin Media clients should be getting. Reputational damage is one thing, but unless these repeated service outages cost your shareholders money, things won’t improve.

  • KathrynW1986 Kate (@KathrynW1986) reported from Bournemouth, England

@virginmedia I think when it's a known virgin fault , all customers should automatically get money deducted from their bill. We shouldn't have to complain constantly to get a reduction when we are paying for a service

  • alice_hancock1 Liss 🏳️‍🌈🐿️ (@alice_hancock1) reported from Bournemouth, England

Virgin media is so broken today even the service status page gives me an error

  • adamskicraig Adam Craig (@adamskicraig) reported from Bournemouth, England

@virginmedia why does your automated service perpetuate the lie that nothing’s wrong with your service yet numerous tweets across Hampshire & Dorset suggest the total opposite

  • AFCBCarl carl mieleszko (@AFCBCarl) reported from Poole, England

@virginmedia I don’t think you understand do you!! not just surrounding areas, this is misinformation and is causing your customers 30miles away from Southampton to waste time checking with work it support, windows it support, and pissing about with their routers because your not honest

  • chefmike56 Michael Darracott (@chefmike56) reported from Bournemouth, England

@virginmedia In thse hard times is virgin media aware that so many people not happy could so easily join somewhere else eventually making your company go bust . The service is dire

  • chefmike56 Michael Darracott (@chefmike56) reported from Bournemouth, England

  • GordonFong Gordon Fong (🍸🦐🦀🥋) (@GordonFong) reported from Bournemouth, England

@lisaculling @virginmedia They’ve broken one big f-off sized cable and are installing another one. Not a small job but even then I ended up with a leaking ducting by then yesterday.

  • stwpt stewpot (@stwpt) reported from Bournemouth, England

  • DavidRice22 David Rice (@DavidRice22) reported from Poole, England

@virginmedia Whether broadband is a utility or not is a point of view. From my perspective, it’s a utility. I accept no supplier can guarantee service. VM may be just be on an unlucky streak. Your service is presently not something I trust - based on current experience.

  • DavidRice22 David Rice (@DavidRice22) reported from Poole, England

@virginmedia Right this second, no. But it’s becoming clear that I cannot rely upon the service. It really is a utility. My water, gas & electricity all seem to run smoothly but not my broadband service. It is very frustrating.

  • AFCBCarl carl mieleszko (@AFCBCarl) reported from Bournemouth, England

@benedictsf @virginmedia @skytv @BT That’s good but I have had nothing but issues with sky broadband in the past! Touch wood apart from today I haven’t had any issues with BT for 18months

  • AFCBCarl carl mieleszko (@AFCBCarl) reported from Poole, England

@virginmedia internet down since 23:30 last night in Bournemouth still not up and running what kind of organisation are you, you lose your trains, lose your cola, now losing the plot! @skytv & @BT from now on.

  • chefmike56 Michael Darracott (@chefmike56) reported from Bournemouth, England

@virginmedia I'm at the point like many of considering another service.. you get no compensation your phone in lines are over subbed and the service is below disgraceful not with a quid a month let alone the £52 I pay

  • DavidRice22 David Rice (@DavidRice22) reported from Poole, England

@virginmedia @ceasuri_rele This is happening too often now. After the recent outage debacle this is simply not acceptable. Please confirm that all customers in the affected areas will be receiving financial compensation.

  • Kev_Williams Kev Williams (@Kev_Williams) reported from Bournemouth, England

@virginmedia ok, what’s happening with the outage. Nothing on yr website or app. Cannot work from home, losing money.

  • ginge003 🌈 💙 (@ginge003) reported

@virginmedia A reliable WiFi would be great! Awful service over the past few weeks, absolutely awful! Working from home but can’t do my job properly because I can’t access what I need. Very very poor service for the money paid.

  • JustinBeale70 JB (@JustinBeale70) reported

@virginmedia Wish you'd hurry up and switch on the service in my area the engineers said it should be live now

  • globalsoul5050 50 50 Show Global Soul (@globalsoul5050) reported

@virginmedia It’s not a question of a certain part of the programming as a valued customer and paying a premium price I expect constituency of premium coverage through the 6 hrs. So the original question regarding compensation still applies. Thanks for replying.

  • elburto29 David Burton (@elburto29) reported

@virginmedia I recently upgraded to 1gig fibre and the speeds I’ve been getting are terrible

@st07pat @virginmedia Speed is fine mate, no complaints there, it’s fine for anything 3 meters away or less, like lightening! Any further though and 4G is the only way forward. The router have always been trash and I’m loath to pay to buy another to enjoy the signal I’m paying a lot for anyway
