I just wanna introduce @virginmedia to @CrapBroadband. They give me a 24 month discount - then when I move halfway through the contract restarts but the discount does not. So I'm paying more money for the same service for the next three months for no good reason.

Official Trainspotting Peterborough (TTBG_YT) (@TTBGYT) reported from Peterborough, England

@LiamsTransport1 @virginmedia My router has been getting slower and slower even before lock down. It's starting to lag games that didn't before.

@virginmedia But does your new software support subtitles if the provider is supplying them? I need to make sure before we upgrade to 360.

After 10(ish) years, I was absolutely incandescent with @virginmedia yesterday on how I was treated, I had to ask 17 times to cancel my service before the message got through, as they offered me varying amounts of money in an attempt to purchase my loyalty. I feel liberated.

  • PellSam
Sam Pell (@PellSam) reported from Peterborough, England

Thanks @virginmedia just spent my lunch break on hold and did not get through. A whole 44 minutes. This is the second time I’ve tried. I understand you don’t want customers to leave but how can I cancel if you don’t answer the call.

  • Michael_Catling

@virginmedia Who can I speak to regarding the Virgin TV app as I am unable to login to my account and your customer service won’t let me speak to an agent?!

  • consultphysio

@virginmedia Rubbish customer care! Three last minute cancellations over 2 months! Still waiting for broadband installation! Far too many third party contractors who are useless 🙄🙄🙄! Everyone pls stay off Virgin

  • TTBGYT

@virginmedia Still happening. I have been a customer for years with you and experienced many issues over the years. I was in a call for my RAF Air Cadets, guess what happened, my WiFi cut out, several people couldn't join. I've about had it. I may take my custom elsewhere.

  • jbracemedia
JB Photography (@jbracemedia) reported from Peterborough, England

The desperation is so unreal that they even cut the phone off! So glad we left those money hungry bastards, we've given them so many chances to fix our issues, but it's always been 'our fault' and never helped. So long Virgin Media.

Seems @virginmedia are putting every obstacle in the way for people wanting to cancel the service, particularly if you're a #Pensioner, I had to ask numerous times before I got through to them

@virginmedia Parents a cancellation fee, even though we are not wanting to cancel, you are. NO managers to talk it through with from our end. No consideration for the stress of a move without @virginmedia contribution. Very upset. Your. True colours shown after many years as your customer 😡

@O2 & @virginmedia making it as difficult as possible to settle the final bill on an account I have cancelled. App doesn't give me the option to pay. Calls go straight through to their Indian call centre. Absolutely appalling service from the worst phone company in the universe!

@TOBZYNWA @sweenus987 @Thafnine YouTube doesn't really count for live yet. but it'll be the same has having sky in the uk or virgin media and never watching bbc but still having to pay for tv licence because the option is there to watch it so you need to pay.

Tired of paying for multiple subscriptions like Sky, BT Sport, Virgin Media, Now TV, Amazon Prime, Disney+, Apple TV+? I have got the solution. This IPTV @8K_ultra_iptv6 offers: • 300,000+ live channels • 65,000+ VODs • PPV events • Netflix • 78,000+ movies

  • iam_samedoho
    Sam Ed (@iam_samedoho) reported

@OgaHans MTN is one of the biggest network operators in Nigeria. EE, Virgin Media O2, Vodafone, and Three are the major network operators in the UK. EE coverage is very good because BT owns and operates it using its existing infrastructure. Most of the smaller network operators are resellers. They bulk-buy wholesale - network minutes, texts, and data at a heavily discounted rate from (like EE, VMO2, or VodafoneThree) and resell it to people. Their coverage isn't good because they are limited. They are only competitive on price, not on coverage.
