Why do broadband providers give us tech that isn't up to the job? The BT super hub 2 and Virgin media routers are absolutely rubbish and the only way to get a decent service is to buy extra tech to make them work better. I've just answered my own question here haven't I?

@virginmedia I want to get it off my credit file so tried to set a payment plan up I was told I couldn't, I was offered a settlement of £60 which I agreed to but the handler would not agree to send me confirmation the account was clear before closing the complaint

@virginmedia terrible customer service- been with you for the past few years (despite terrible b/band- so that we have had to buy a router!)&now you are charging us double for the same package! Only thing you can offer us is a deal £25 more p/month than a new customer would pay?!

@virginmedia Yes it's been rebooted and my SSIDs have been separated out into 2 channels as well. It's not great usually tbh but over the past week service has been shocking
