Why do broadband providers give us tech that isn't up to the job? The BT super hub 2 and Virgin media routers are absolutely rubbish and the only way to get a decent service is to buy extra tech to make them work better. I've just answered my own question here haven't I?

@virginmedia It’s been installed for well over a year. My area has had intermittent issues this last week, I was told you would have it fixed by this morning at the latest, midday it drops again while I’m working, I call up and you tell me it is sorted in my area. It isn’t.

So @virginmedia keep emailing me to upgrade from 500mb to 1gb internet speed, called n they want me to pay additional £37 a month! Told I have to pay more because I’m an existing customer. I won’t be renewing #customerexperience #poorcustomerservice

@MandeepVAL @virginmedia LMK if you find something good, I have the same problem with Virgin; the packet loss is between me and their Belfast core router mostly in peak/evening periods. Trying to explain this to their level 1 support is like trying to explain astrophysics to a block of cheese.
