Walking home saw a Virgin Media contractors truck turning off the main road, there's a thousand places it could be going, but let's guess. YES!! Outside our house when I get back. It's like flies to a cow pat. They never leave us alone😡

@JustCallMeSeann @virginmedia Several people in my local area have reported the issue hence why I know the problem is at the local virgin media cabinet as stated by their own engineer.

Virgin Media's contractors back again, digging up the road for about the 10th time. Every time they go, we just KNOW they'll be back - might be next week, might be 2 months, but they will be back. They never leave us alone 🤬🤬🤬

  • tomwalsh77
Tom Walsh (@tomwalsh77) reported from Lancaster, England

@JustCallMeSeann @virginmedia I realise the hub 3 isn’t great but like I said the issue (likely due to over subscription) is external to my property. Hopefully with enough people nagging them, Virgin will fix the local area fault.

  • apocolypse2015
pfarri (@apocolypse2015) reported from Kirkby Lonsdale, England

@virginmedia Already done. Annoyed that we were assured that we could transfer our service to our new house, despite me querying this with the operator at the time. A note to this effect is also on our call log. Surely it is you who is now breaking the contract, not me.

  • JohntheJudgeEsq

@virginmedia The problem that I have at the moment is that your service keeps dropping. 1 minute I’m getting 150 Mb per second, and later on nothing when you change to whoever your optimal provider is.I have rebooted the router on many occasions but it doesn’t solve the problem.

  • KatHarris42
    Katrina Harris MA (@KatHarris42) reported

@virginmedia for 7 days I've had intermittent broadband, it's affecting my work. Registered loss of service, your status shows it is broken. Your compensation is full 2 full days of outtage, so will I be refunded. Glad have @EE as mobile contract for back up but shouldnt have to

  • NigelClark78
    Nigel Clark (@NigelClark78) reported

@virginmedia It is a big inconvenience as we are dependent on the service for our TV services too. So no TV for the family and members of the family very dependent on the internet for work, coursework etc and our mobile datas are taking a massive hit. Not really acceptable.

  • clement_palle

  • s0phieshepherd
    Sophie (@s0phieshepherd) reported

@virginmedia There's no issues in the area, you cancelled our contract (without notifying us) a week earlier than it was supposed to finish, so we're without WiFi and your customer services team refuse to escalate the issue

  • NicolaMcC_04
    Nicola (@NicolaMcC_04) reported

@virginmedia can you confirm if there is an issue with wifi in the G67 area? Wifi has been constantly going down every 10 mins since last night which is unacceptable considering people work from home. Cannot get through on the online chat and the service status says no issue

  • davidruddell
    David Ruddell (@davidruddell) reported

@virginmedia Morning, we cancelled our contract last night and have now rec 3 calls and a msg asking why we’re leaving and how you can get us back. I’m flattered but can you stop? What if I say it’s not you it’s me? Will that stop the calls. (Constant price rises didn’t help!!)
