@andrewmolyneux@mastodon.world (@andrewmolyneux) reported from Halton, England@virginmedia I called yesterday - after 2 calls totalling about 80 minutes the customer service person said she couldn’t process the termination due to a technical error and would call me back in half an hour. I haven’t heard anything since then.
-
pfarri (@apocolypse2015) reported from Kirkby Lonsdale, England@virginmedia Already done. Annoyed that we were assured that we could transfer our service to our new house, despite me querying this with the operator at the time. A note to this effect is also on our call log. Surely it is you who is now breaking the contract, not me.
-
Andrew Murray (@frogboyflips) reported from Halton, England@virginmedia It doesn't let me 'Test your hub' as says service isn't available right now. This is a business account by the way.
-
James (@JamesUHMB) reported from Lancaster, England@virginmedia Don't forget the total disregard for personal data. Especially of you're not even a customer!!
-
pfarri (@apocolypse2015) reported from Kirkby Lonsdale, EnglandSo, having just moved house to Cumbria, i contact #virginmedia to transfer my broadband, which they said a few weeks ago "would not be a problem" Now they tell me they dont operate around my new address, and are now trying to charge me £250 for breaking my contract. Any advice ??

@andrewmolyneux@mastodon.world (@andrewmolyneux) reported from Halton, EnglandOK I haven’t tweeted in months but I’ve now been trying to cancel my @virginmedia broadband since Friday. -
Tom Walsh (@tomwalsh77) reported from Lancaster, England@virginmedia internet down again. I’m sick of complaining about this. Can you actually fix the real problem instead of sending engineers to my house who test equipment and find everything is working as it should be.
-
Tom Walsh (@tomwalsh77) reported from Lancaster, England@JustCallMeSeann @virginmedia I realise the hub 3 isn’t great but like I said the issue (likely due to over subscription) is external to my property. Hopefully with enough people nagging them, Virgin will fix the local area fault.
-
justChris 🏍🇬🇧🏴 (@astlecw) reported from Carnforth, EnglandVirgin Media's contractors back again, digging up the road for about the 10th time. Every time they go, we just KNOW they'll be back - might be next week, might be 2 months, but they will be back. They never leave us alone 🤬🤬🤬
