  • Kiefer1667 Marc Lancaster (@Kiefer1667) reported from Bolton-le-Sands, England

@virginmedia hi, ive been charged for cancelling a service when i was advised by one of your phone operators that i wudnt be, because youd swapped me onto Vodafone signal instead of staying on ee signal, can you advise why ive been charged when told i wudnt be?

  • apocolypse2015 pfarri (@apocolypse2015) reported from Kirkby Lonsdale, England

@virginmedia Already done. Annoyed that we were assured that we could transfer our service to our new house, despite me querying this with the operator at the time. A note to this effect is also on our call log. Surely it is you who is now breaking the contract, not me.

  • Jenniboyd2510 Jen ✨✨ (@Jenniboyd2510) reported from Middleton, England

@virginmedia can u please tell me why I’m paying for internet from u that works only when it wants to?Called 3 times to be told that u can see there has bn problems but as there is no issue at that precise moment there’s nothing u can do. And over £300 to cancel my contract.

  • mbryceland Maria (@mbryceland) reported

@virginmedia Yes I’m referring to the speed and I think there are 2 issues - one with connectivity when the network is just down completely and the other is that when it works it is so slow it’s good for web browsing but not MS Teams calls or the like.

  • fonny1307 Font (@fonny1307) reported

@virginmedia That doesn't actually sort the problem for those working from home does it

  • allsportaxi Wayne Dodwell (@allsportaxi) reported

@virginmedia @virginmedia on your portal customers can register to be be kept updated on outages, which I have done (& previously). But no updates provided ?! What is the point of offering this service to your customers if not used. Is it just for hollow show for ofcom ?

  • aidanc80 Aidan Corrigan (@aidanc80) reported

@virginmedia hi guys, seems the TV is down in my area pa14, WiFi seems to be okay.

  • PyxiePants Holly (@PyxiePants) reported

@virginmedia ...as you discovered it was a network issue. So, so far, 4 instances where customer services have booked an engineer because it's obviously a fault my end and 4 times it's turned out to be issues your end.

  • KirstyHallett82 Kirsty Hallett (@KirstyHallett82) reported

@virginmedia I’ve not bn given anything. I was told there is nothing u can do even tho I was told on the phone last night that u can see there has bn issues. My wifi has bn like this for the past 6 mths. Just works when it wants to.

  • Ganterh Helen Ganter (@Ganterh) reported

@virginmedia Yes I am aware some stupid idiot drive into the box and damaged it severely so a big job to fix but it's the information we are lacking as to exactly when we are likely to have it fixed. The status now states 16.00 for it to go down against 21.55 ??

  • djcolledge Duncan Colledge (@djcolledge) reported

@virginmedia Hi - it’s in modem mode so cannot really run any diagnostics. Turns out the light would suggest there is a local outage but your site isn’t up to date.
