@virginmedia Already done. Annoyed that we were assured that we could transfer our service to our new house, despite me querying this with the operator at the time. A note to this effect is also on our call log. Surely it is you who is now breaking the contract, not me.

So, having just moved house to Cumbria, i contact #virginmedia to transfer my broadband, which they said a few weeks ago "would not be a problem" Now they tell me they dont operate around my new address, and are now trying to charge me £250 for breaking my contract. Any advice ??

@soojahpah @virginmedia You’re lucky. They provide the worst customer service. It’s a good job they aren’t responsible for COVID vaccination roll outs otherwise we’d all be serious trouble.

@virginmedia Yes and no. Last week service was down in some areas of Oxfordshire. Those issues were fixed. Our Wifi is working again since 04/06 as long as we don't use the TV for Netflix/Prime/YouTube... A sacrifice worth making to keep the laptops connected. Still annoying though.
