@virginmedia I’m constantly just being passed from pillar to post. Not one person has taken any ownership of trying to solve this issue.

  • apocolypse2015
pfarri (@apocolypse2015) reported from Kirkby Lonsdale, England

So, having just moved house to Cumbria, i contact #virginmedia to transfer my broadband, which they said a few weeks ago "would not be a problem" Now they tell me they dont operate around my new address, and are now trying to charge me £250 for breaking my contract. Any advice ??

  • Emmalouh501
Emma (@Emmalouh501) reported from Halton, England

@virginmedia No I don’t. WiFi is off again though. We had one night reprieve then back to the usual pile of garbage.

  • GlennPegden
Glenn Pegden (@GlennPegden) reported from Middleton, England

@virginmedia @_Freakyclown_ Hey @rikbarker to add to your service woes, it looks like @virginmedia also store your password in plain text and assume postal mail is secure #facepalm !

  • TC6112
Tim Cross (@TC6112) reported from Middleton, England

@virginmedia What is the broadband status at LA4 6EP please? The system appears to have gone down.

  • DarrenGotham
darren gotham (@DarrenGotham) reported from Halton, England

@virginmedia how long are we going to be having problems for? Reboot of hub 3 & still green lights. How about an upgrade to hub 4/5??

  • Jenniboyd2510
Jen ✨✨ (@Jenniboyd2510) reported from Middleton, England

So ringing @TUIUK for my refund & put on hold for 58 mins to be told they can't help and also to get a bill from @virginmedia of £58 for the call #nothappy @MartinSLewis how is this fair

  • Emmalouh501
Emma (@Emmalouh501) reported from Halton, England

@gs_lawrenson @virginmedia I bet my struggle has been about a similar time. It’s the shoddiest service ever. Paying for 350 mbps. It was 7.4 today. Never seen it above 125. They are literally stealing my money 😤 Every response from them is scripted. Woeful. It’s driving me mad!

  • tomwalsh77
Tom Walsh (@tomwalsh77) reported from Lancaster, England

@JustCallMeSeann @virginmedia I realise the hub 3 isn’t great but like I said the issue (likely due to over subscription) is external to my property. Hopefully with enough people nagging them, Virgin will fix the local area fault.

  • Kiefer1667
Marc Lancaster (@Kiefer1667) reported from Bolton-le-Sands, England

@virginmedia hi, ive been charged for cancelling a service when i was advised by one of your phone operators that i wudnt be, because youd swapped me onto Vodafone signal instead of staying on ee signal, can you advise why ive been charged when told i wudnt be?

  • shaunnahayes
shaunna hayes (@shaunnahayes) reported from Lancaster, England

@virginmedia The services are back on but the issue is still unresolved as iv paid way over my bill and still owe more apparently

  • andrewmolyneux
@andrewmolyneux@mastodon.world (@andrewmolyneux) reported from Halton, England

OK I haven’t tweeted in months but I’ve now been trying to cancel my @virginmedia broadband since Friday. First via WhatsApp, then I gave up and phoned but I’m getting the runaround. Please let me cancel your overpriced service and hopefully never do business with you again 😡

  • tomwalsh77
Tom Walsh (@tomwalsh77) reported from Lancaster, England

@virginmedia Internet seems to be ok at the moment. The service status never reflects if service is down or not. My issue is with the intermittent loss of internet connection. Customer service treat me like an idiot. Please fix the problem in my area. (Lancaster)

  • frogboyflips
Andrew Murray (@frogboyflips) reported from Halton, England

@virginmedia It doesn't let me 'Test your hub' as says service isn't available right now. This is a business account by the way.

  • Emmalouh501
Emma (@Emmalouh501) reported from Halton, England

@virginmedia No I haven’t. You’ve let me down?? Why should I be chasing you??

  • WiJayWhelan

  • Emmalouh501
Emma (@Emmalouh501) reported from Halton, England

No WiFi again all last night. Off again already today @virginmedia continues to be THE worst provider. At least 10 phone calls. Engineer visit. Still a pile of rubbish.

@ThreeUKSupport I do have WiFi but I pay virgin media for that. When are you going to fix your network. I’ve been told your network is suffering because of the 5G rollout. Please fix it.

  • RichTigheBrady
    Rich Brady (@RichTigheBrady) reported

@virginmedia It came back up but only after being down for 48 hrs! No reason! Happens every 4-6 weeks. There were no registered outages! So frustrating

  • Martinayres65o1
    Martinayres65@outloo (@Martinayres65o1) reported

@virginmedia it’s now been an hour since the promised call from you. Given we have been without broadband & TV since Friday I would have thought you would make it a priority. Seems Virgin doesn’t care about its customers. Happy to take money whilst delivering no service

  • edujones14
    Ed Jones (@edujones14) reported

I genuinely thought that @MercedesBenz had set an unbeatable standard for appalling customer service. @virginmedia “Hold my beer”

  • LessGrumpy
    GrumpyByName 🇮🇱 (@LessGrumpy) reported

@IanSlaterPhoto1 @BrydonN2 Absurd. One of the reasons I’ve never left virgin media is that they were the only fibre to the door operator round here till recently.

  • entrustTMF
    entrustTMF (@entrustTMF) reported

@BertySi @virginmedia That's a flat no from @virginmedia on the MiFi with credit suggestion. Question is, are they prepared to do anything to help or assist seriously inconvenienced and frustrated customers?

@virginmedia @GlitteringAngel Katie shouldn't have to send you a DM, just treat loyalty with some respect and give people discounts the longer they stay with you instead of giving newbies better deals than long standing customers
