Walking home saw a Virgin Media contractors truck turning off the main road, there's a thousand places it could be going, but let's guess. YES!! Outside our house when I get back. It's like flies to a cow pat. They never leave us alone😡

So, having just moved house to Cumbria, i contact #virginmedia to transfer my broadband, which they said a few weeks ago "would not be a problem" Now they tell me they dont operate around my new address, and are now trying to charge me £250 for breaking my contract. Any advice ??

-
pfarri (@apocolypse2015) reported from Kirkby Lonsdale, England
@virginmedia Already done. Annoyed that we were assured that we could transfer our service to our new house, despite me querying this with the operator at the time. A note to this effect is also on our call log. Surely it is you who is now breaking the contract, not me.
-
Dave “Benny” Bentley (@DavePARA_MEDIC) reported from Bolton-le-Sands, England

Virgin Media's contractors back again, digging up the road for about the 10th time. Every time they go, we just KNOW they'll be back - might be next week, might be 2 months, but they will be back. They never leave us alone 🤬🤬🤬

-
Daniel Thompson (@Danielson_1991) reported from Hartlepool, England
@virginmedia I honestly can't deal with being passed around departments again. The problem is the WiFi is weak upstairs and I'm paying for a product thats not fit for service. You advertise intelligent pods to boost connections, all I want is to order one to resolve the issue.
-
Catie (@Flamesandfoxes) reported
@virginmedia We've had no contact and no resolution from your customer service team. We were already disappointed with quality of internet so tbh we are thinking of cancelling our contract and moving elsewhere. We get better speeds for lower monthly cost.
-
Pauly (@shakermaker90s) reported
@VirginMediaIE can I please have some help and a response to a DM that I sent you on Tuesday morning at 08:42? #virginmedia #virginmediaireland
-
Catie (@Flamesandfoxes) reported
@virginmedia your customer service team did not resolve and refused to transfer to a team that could.
-
Starscream (@1982Starscream) reported
@virginmedia There is another fault showing in my area bt11 8gb on your website. That's 2 days in a row. Is this the same issue or something different?
-
Daniel Thompson (@Danielson_1991) reported
@virginmedia I've been through all this before, I've spent over an hour with the tech team, even had an engineer out. All I want is a pod to boost the signal of the WiFi upstairs
-
Apisol (@apisol1) reported
@virginmedia @jjh Also, make sure to note when you made the complaint, if they don't respond within 28 days then escalate it to CISAS.
-
Phil Hellary (@philhellary) reported
@vmbusinesshelp @virginmedia @vmbusiness I did that and there was an issue in the area. Knowing there's a fault doesn't help. There are always faults. It's frustrating how unreliable the service is. Sometimes it's a complete outage, sometimes it's a partial outage with loads of dropped packets. It's very frustrating.
-
chris (@chrisypoop) reported
@virginmedia The tech was cancelled on 18th was due the 21st (same day as logging the issue) due to network issues that are resolved (as my internet is intermittment and was working at the time i accepted this)
-
Coleen Fielding (@TinyToonyZimFan) reported
@virginmedia It says no issues
