@virginmedia An engineer was supposed to be with me between 12:00 - 16:00 today. Am I to take it they’re not coming? There’s a £25 cancellation fee if I am not in / cancel… I expect that £25 off my next bill please?

  • tomwalsh77

@virginmedia Engineer was at my house yesterday who tested all equipment. He said everything was as it should be and there was no fault at my end. I’m asking you to fix this please and if you can’t, be honest with me and let me change to a provider who can give me a stable internet connection

@JustCallMeSeann @virginmedia The engineer told me several people in the area had the same issue as me and it wa likely due to a fault at the cabinet. I told this to customer service who then wanted to send another engineer to my house. 🙄

So, having just moved house to Cumbria, i contact #virginmedia to transfer my broadband, which they said a few weeks ago "would not be a problem" Now they tell me they dont operate around my new address, and are now trying to charge me £250 for breaking my contract. Any advice ??

  • apocolypse2015
pfarri (@apocolypse2015) reported from Kirkby Lonsdale, England

@virginmedia Already done. Annoyed that we were assured that we could transfer our service to our new house, despite me querying this with the operator at the time. A note to this effect is also on our call log. Surely it is you who is now breaking the contract, not me.

@virginmedia no broadband connection at home. Cannot get app to connect, cannot get connection to help page. Router rebooted. Need help.

  • natwallbank

Considering cancelling my @virginmedia order before I've even been connected. All signs point to a lack of connectivity and a painful support experience that I could really do without right now.

@virginmedia I’m constantly just being passed from pillar to post. Not one person has taken any ownership of trying to solve this issue.

Love tech like this WAS-110 XGS-PON SFP is a a module that allows you to bypass most USA/CA routers (AT&T's BGW320, Virgin Media's Hub 5X, or Bell's Giga Hub) by copying info from your router to this module and insert into a third party router or media convert from SFP to Ethernet to a router Get better stability, performance, and stronger QoS settings / firewall etc compared to the default setup I hope 1 day i find someone that needs this done

  • TubzNetz
