    @JustCallMeSeann @virginmedia I realise the hub 3 isn’t great but like I said the issue (likely due to over subscription) is external to my property. Hopefully with enough people nagging them, Virgin will fix the local area fault.

    OK I haven’t tweeted in months but I’ve now been trying to cancel my @virginmedia broadband since Friday. First via WhatsApp, then I gave up and phoned but I’m getting the runaround. Please let me cancel your overpriced service and hopefully never do business with you again 😡

    @virginmedia Internet seems to be ok at the moment. The service status never reflects if service is down or not. My issue is with the intermittent loss of internet connection. Customer service treat me like an idiot. Please fix the problem in my area. (Lancaster)

    @ThreeUKSupport I do have WiFi but I pay virgin media for that. When are you going to fix your network. I’ve been told your network is suffering because of the 5G rollout. Please fix it.

    So, having just moved house to Cumbria, i contact #virginmedia to transfer my broadband, which they said a few weeks ago "would not be a problem" Now they tell me they dont operate around my new address, and are now trying to charge me £250 for breaking my contract. Any advice ??

    @JustCallMeSeann @virginmedia The engineer told me several people in the area had the same issue as me and it wa likely due to a fault at the cabinet. I told this to customer service who then wanted to send another engineer to my house. 🙄

    @virginmedia Already done. Annoyed that we were assured that we could transfer our service to our new house, despite me querying this with the operator at the time. A note to this effect is also on our call log. Surely it is you who is now breaking the contract, not me.

    @virginmedia Yeah i did that, and they said im elligable for the free router upgrade, which should solve the problem. All i have to do for this "free" upgrade is to pay you £80, on top of the £100+ per month we have been paying for the last 7+ years!! Can you see what im getting at?

    @virginmedia Thanks for the help but we have cancelled as it was ridiculous trying to advise that the engineer said the cable in the road is blocked and call Centre insisted that it would still work with no cable. Too much of a risk for us to loose broadband so staying with current provider
