So, having just moved house to Cumbria, i contact #virginmedia to transfer my broadband, which they said a few weeks ago "would not be a problem" Now they tell me they dont operate around my new address, and are now trying to charge me £250 for breaking my contract. Any advice ??

@ThreeUKSupport I do have WiFi but I pay virgin media for that. When are you going to fix your network. I’ve been told your network is suffering because of the 5G rollout. Please fix it.

@virginmedia Already done. Annoyed that we were assured that we could transfer our service to our new house, despite me querying this with the operator at the time. A note to this effect is also on our call log. Surely it is you who is now breaking the contract, not me.

@virginmedia same problem in Lancaster. TV has gone down. Program guide still works just no picture. Same on the App, it says my Internet connection is poor even though its over 200mps. Still got fibre obviously

I've had to repeat myself so many times and now I'm being told I will have to pay a £167.46 penalty charge to cancel when I've already have 2 technicians out in the last 2 weeks to attempt to fix whatever the hell is going on and it's still not working!

Ah yes, a day of work missed thanks to the internet going down over night. Debating moving away from @virginmedia to another fiber ISP, as apparently you get better upload speeds from the likes of @TalkTalk these days... And possibly more stability?
