@virginmedia I called yesterday - after 2 calls totalling about 80 minutes the customer service person said she couldn’t process the termination due to a technical error and would call me back in half an hour. I haven’t heard anything since then.

@virginmedia same problem in Lancaster. TV has gone down. Program guide still works just no picture. Same on the App, it says my Internet connection is poor even though its over 200mps. Still got fibre obviously

So, having just moved house to Cumbria, i contact #virginmedia to transfer my broadband, which they said a few weeks ago "would not be a problem" Now they tell me they dont operate around my new address, and are now trying to charge me £250 for breaking my contract. Any advice ??

@virginmedia Already done. Annoyed that we were assured that we could transfer our service to our new house, despite me querying this with the operator at the time. A note to this effect is also on our call log. Surely it is you who is now breaking the contract, not me.

OK I haven’t tweeted in months but I’ve now been trying to cancel my @virginmedia broadband since Friday. First via WhatsApp, then I gave up and phoned but I’m getting the runaround. Please let me cancel your overpriced service and hopefully never do business with you again 😡

Another evening. No broadband. Five out of the last nine nights with absolutely no service. @virginmedia you are THE worst service provider I’ve ever had the misfortune to deal with. Appalling.

@MoiraHufton @virginmedia Exactly the same happening to me , it’s disgraceful. They then advise to join a customer forum to find an answer to my issue?! No access to emails for 3 weeks and 4 hours upwards wasted on phone calls that get me no where & they have the cheek to increase our bills !!

After 4 weeks plus of trying to cancel my @virginmedia account I've finally succeeded its only taken a text chat that spanned over 11hrs ( today ) ( not including 12 plus 50min on hold then terminate calls) over the last month

@virginmedia You may not be able to arrange callbacks from your department but you can pass my details on to the relevant department who can contact me. Of course we have rebooted and checked for issues on our on line status every time we want to use it! Get somebody to call us ASAP !!
