Tom Walsh (@tomwalsh77) reported from Lancaster, England@JustCallMeSeann @virginmedia I realise the hub 3 isn’t great but like I said the issue (likely due to over subscription) is external to my property. Hopefully with enough people nagging them, Virgin will fix the local area fault.
-
Tom Walsh (@tomwalsh77) reported from Lancaster, England@virginmedia Internet seems to be ok at the moment. The service status never reflects if service is down or not. My issue is with the intermittent loss of internet connection. Customer service treat me like an idiot. Please fix the problem in my area. (Lancaster)
-
shaunna hayes (@shaunnahayes) reported from Lancaster, England@virginmedia The services are back on but the issue is still unresolved as iv paid way over my bill and still owe more apparently
-
KateCap ❤️ (@Kate223110) reported from Halton, England@virginmedia Wired connection never worked. I’m wanting to cancel
-
Tom Walsh (@tomwalsh77) reported from Lancaster, England@JustCallMeSeann @virginmedia The engineer told me several people in the area had the same issue as me and it wa likely due to a fault at the cabinet. I told this to customer service who then wanted to send another engineer to my house. 🙄
-
Emma (@Emmalouh501) reported from Halton, England@gs_lawrenson @virginmedia I bet my struggle has been about a similar time. It’s the shoddiest service ever. Paying for 350 mbps. It was 7.4 today. Never seen it above 125. They are literally stealing my money 😤 Every response from them is scripted. Woeful. It’s driving me mad!
-
Tom Walsh (@tomwalsh77) reported from Lancaster, England@virginmedia Engineer was at my house yesterday who tested all equipment. He said everything was as it should be and there was no fault at my end. I’m asking you to fix this please and if you can’t, be honest with me and let me change to a provider who can give me a stable internet connection
-
@andrewmolyneux@mastodon.world (@andrewmolyneux) reported from Halton, England@virginmedia I called yesterday - after 2 calls totalling about 80 minutes the customer service person said she couldn’t process the termination due to a technical error and would call me back in half an hour. I haven’t heard anything since then.
-
Tom Walsh (@tomwalsh77) reported from Lancaster, England@virginmedia internet down again. I’m sick of complaining about this. Can you actually fix the real problem instead of sending engineers to my house who test equipment and find everything is working as it should be.
Virgin Media Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Alan Wright 🦫 (@Alanw47) reported@Englandgav @virginmedia Recycled hub not properly reset? But I agree it must be a GDPR issue and VM can't just ignore it
-
Pure Hearted Human (@Graelwyn) reported@Ang_Jones72 It doesn't matter much now. As I intend to take my life as what virgin media don't know. Is that my mother and father abused me most of my life. And maybe since I never got her unconditional love as she loved only through money. I wanted to use the only thing she gives me now. Since she wouldn't call virgin to explain. As she cares more about my brother's partner's mother having cancer. Than that I may have cancer. So virgin media get their payments. And I have finally given up. That is all.
-
☣ ѕєℓιиα куℓє ☣ (@J3_D1) reportedWould you rather eat a bag of broken glass or deal with @virginmedia I can’t decide…
-
LivingSage (@LivingSage2) reported@Dacosta150 @Jojo_agboola Bro, I’m on Youfibre too, lovely network. I dropped virgin media broadband, not because they are bad but cos of Youfibre upload speed. Their 1000mbps download is same with their 1000 upload. I’m on You2000 and it’s been lovely. @Jojo_agboola should try it
-
Malcolm Sillick (@Malcolm_Sillick) reported@LeilaniDowding @EE Lellani, it's not just EE, it's everyone. Even those on cable (Virgin Media) still have to have the phone plugged into the router. Seems like a good idea, until you get a power cut (which can be supported by a back-up battery, which is NOT given as standard) If the internet goes down, then so does your phone. Great if you have a mobile, but if you live in an area with a poor mobile signal, so reply on 'Wi-Fi calling' in the house, then when the internet goes down, you also have no mobile service. It's called progress!!
-
Pekalton (@Pekalton) reported@ConorPDunne I agree Connor. It’s time for a complete change of direction for RTÉ. I’ve lost interest in the LLS and RoT. I get RoT brings tourism to Kerry but it’s time for a change. RTÉ is still living in the times gone past. What exactly are we paying TV licence for? Virgin Media is as bad
-
Tom J Jarvis (@TomJJarvis) reported@virginmedia Your salesperson confirmed by text that his manager had approved covering that £6 for the term. I have the messages. It has never appeared on my bill. He asked me to email a compensation request, which I did. No reply. Chased three times since. No reply. 2/
-
Paul O'Brien (@PaulOBrienKil) reported@virginmedia @MizzCQ I strongly urge anyone thinking of subscribing to @virginmedia to NOT do it. Took over a hour to get through to customer service & they still won't fix their mistake. Shambles of an organisation.
