@EdwardJDavey @timleunig @virginmedia Problem is that it's the same across the board. Bad Comms & ridiculous processes to blame in my limited experience.

better and better. 6 months of problems and @virginmedia quibble over compensation so now with arbitrators. Now just saw my mobile bill and i’ve been charged £55 for being on hold for the guts of 1h55min trying to sort out their mess. Just fantastic. Thanks @virginmedia

@SumayyaBfd @JustMeBeingMe4 @virginmedia I would recommend Utility Warehouse as they provide discounts for more utilities and other sustainability things and their customer service are really responsive, even during lockdown.

@BBCNews Another time phoned up virgin media said my internet was running slow. They said no problems. We can give you a discount for the time it's been running slow. They didn't contact me in any way, shape or form and signed me up to a New year's contract.

@Ofcom @virginmedia I am glad to see you get your come uppence. Im still trying to leave you after a full year of terrible low speeds. Trying to force me into paying a leaving fee of £400 even though you do not provide a proper service. @Ofcom what do I do??? I'm fed up of poor service.

@Stsantek @virginmedia All are same cases. They are horrible to deal with and you end up in constant loop with them!

  • CBTwizard
    Shelton (@CBTwizard) reported

Good @Ofcom 28 million fined to the parasites that are Virgin Media. Good. I have been victim to this horrible pass on pass on (6+ hours on the phone) department to department and back to start again, as well as a 2 year new contract without my consent (early termination £500 being chased for, after 2000+ disconnections in a month, email proof, text proof, delayed line fixes) list goes on. Parasites, charging elderly people £70+ for like 100mb Maybe @MartinSLewis applied some well deserved pressure. If I'm not mistaken @dshensmith had issues too.

@virginmedia Received new remotes for your new service main remote works second one does not HELP.

  • NathanGage15
    Nathan Gage (@NathanGage15) reported

@virginmedia @BonesE78 My contract is about to expire I won't be renewing it as the best price they can do is double what I'm currently paying however a new customer can get the same package for £10pm cheaper than what I'm currently paying.

  • GetItQuietly
    Andy (@GetItQuietly) reported

After anointing Virgin Media as the king of bad suppliers, Switch2 are giving it a good go.

  • andyosb
    Andy (@andyosb) reported

@Ofcom @virginmedia did exactly the same thing to me back in 2019! It was - and still is - the worst customer service experience of my life (and I'm now 65). I was just so relieved to escape them eventually. They're utter scum. Do yourself a favour & don't go anywhere near this company

More issues with @virginmedia. My nan was out of contract and they repeatedly called with "better deals". She wanted to lower her bill but ended up paying more after being sold 500Mb broadband and Sky Cinema. She lives alone. I called back and said it felt like elder abuse. Why?
