  • mrslisataylor Lisa Taylor (@mrslisataylor) reported from Bournemouth, England

@virginmedia I pay a lot of money every month for high speed fibre, but at the moment this is terrible. I reset my router every morning, but this morning I can’t stream 1 video (through Ethernet) to work out to even with no other devices working.

  • Natalie05490147 Natalie Griffiths (@Natalie05490147) reported from Bournemouth, England

@virginmedia I’m awaiting a call back from a manager to confirm from the new customer team that he can get a quick start pack out to me ASAP due to my unique circumstances. The manager John said he or a colleague would call me by Saturday. It’s now Thursday and I’ve heard nothing!

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • ZainHas95323008 Zain Hassan (@ZainHas95323008) reported

@virginmedia @emmasnosey Same issue here. Had 5 calls in 2 days. I even went along with it and pressed 1 and got connected to someone claimimg to be in the security team and he wanted me to downloan teamviewer on my phone so he can have acccess to my phone. No number available.

  • SaulPeb Shift, Lift and Sift (Diet, Iron, Info) (@SaulPeb) reported

@virginmedia @LozzaFox That's a worryingly ignorant tweet. That's not how the internet works - we don't each have our own 'Internet'! We have individual connections to the internet. Maybe this lies at the heart of the issue? How widespread is this misunderstanding throughout your firm?

  • JaffAnne Anne Jaff (@JaffAnne) reported

@LozzaFox @virginmedia Had my entire virgin media installed twice over and paid for premium service (at the time £150 pm ) for over a year - hours wasted talking to service staff /engineers. So disappointed Now I pay £22 pm with EE and haven’t had a problem since - operating same no. of devices

  • Jennyff45805734 Jennyffer (@Jennyff45805734) reported

I had the most horrible experience with Virgin Media. I DO NOT recommend their services! I used to pay for my broadband by Direct Debit; asked them to close my account but they didn't and continued charging me even though I didn't use their services. No contact either

  • myjacketishuge Dave 'White Knight' White (@myjacketishuge) reported

@virginmedia @LozzaFox I was a virgin customer back at the end of the '00s bro they were great then, I guess they've really gone downhill, shame. Ricky to the B should never have sold the business.

  • RobertJFurness Bob Furness (@RobertJFurness) reported

@virginmedia @LozzaFox How exactly virgin, how does he check a web page with no Internet? Ffs the stupid is strong in this one. (of course I'm aware of phones before anyone says it)

  • Iterax2 Iterax (@Iterax2) reported

@LozzaFox @virginmedia Ditch them. I did and saved a lot of money. My new ISP is slower (but can still watch multiple video streams same time) and I haven't noticed the service down yet in over a year. It's not BT either.

  • insanethinking Steve (@insanethinking) reported

@virginmedia Oh that number... the one where they say "Your call is important to us... click" hung up on 4 times on that number.... as I said customer support at its finest. Do you EVER talk to any customers through anything but here?

  • JofArnold jof.arnold(“asdasd”) (@JofArnold) reported

Urgh. Why is Virgin Media so ****. 750mb down but 15% packet loss wired to the router :(

  • triplex77 Paul Danton (@triplex77) reported

@itsme_gfc @virginmedia @LozzaFox I don't know what you expect them to say, we in lockdown no one coming out to fix it , most working from home. I can't wait to get shot of virgin. No point moaning about it change your provider
