  • AFCBCarl carl mieleszko (@AFCBCarl) reported from Bournemouth, England

@benedictsf @virginmedia @skytv @BT That’s good but I have had nothing but issues with sky broadband in the past! Touch wood apart from today I haven’t had any issues with BT for 18months

  • mattjlawrence Matt Lawrence 📣 (@mattjlawrence) reported from Bournemouth, England

Please @virginmedia learn from the banks and offer your customers the option to pause services or waive cancellation charges for people losing their jobs. £80 to take TV off my plan after 15 years as a customer is not helpful

  • DavidRice22 David Rice (@DavidRice22) reported from Poole, England

@virginmedia @JellybobUK Your service is now rubbish. This is becoming a regular occurrence.

  • AFCBCarl carl mieleszko (@AFCBCarl) reported from Poole, England

@virginmedia internet down since 23:30 last night in Bournemouth still not up and running what kind of organisation are you, you lose your trains, lose your cola, now losing the plot! @skytv & @BT from now on.

  • GordonFong Gordon Fong (🍸🦐🦀🥋) (@GordonFong) reported from Bournemouth, England

@lisaculling @virginmedia They’ve broken one big f-off sized cable and are installing another one. Not a small job but even then I ended up with a leaking ducting by then yesterday.

  • DavidRice22 David Rice (@DavidRice22) reported from Poole, England

@virginmedia Whether broadband is a utility or not is a point of view. From my perspective, it’s a utility. I accept no supplier can guarantee service. VM may be just be on an unlucky streak. Your service is presently not something I trust - based on current experience.

  • stwpt stewpot (@stwpt) reported from Bournemouth, England

@virginmedia I would recommend to be honest with customer

  • DavidRice22 David Rice (@DavidRice22) reported from Poole, England

@virginmedia You didn’t mention the refund that Virgin Media clients should be getting. Reputational damage is one thing, but unless these repeated service outages cost your shareholders money, things won’t improve.

  • Kev_Williams Kev Williams (@Kev_Williams) reported from Bournemouth, England

@virginmedia ok, what’s happening with the outage. Nothing on yr website or app. Cannot work from home, losing money.

  • AFCBCarl carl mieleszko (@AFCBCarl) reported from Poole, England

@virginmedia I don’t think you understand do you!! not just surrounding areas, this is misinformation and is causing your customers 30miles away from Southampton to waste time checking with work it support, windows it support, and pissing about with their routers because your not honest

  • DavidRice22 David Rice (@DavidRice22) reported from Poole, England

@virginmedia Right this second, no. But it’s becoming clear that I cannot rely upon the service. It really is a utility. My water, gas & electricity all seem to run smoothly but not my broadband service. It is very frustrating.

  • LaurenSTompkins Lauren Tompkins (@LaurenSTompkins) reported from Bournemouth, England

Hey @virginmedia I have an issue with my account all to do with a new instal. Please can I talk it through with you to try and resolve it.

  • jennyjanepalmer Jenny Palmer (@jennyjanepalmer) reported from Bournemouth, England

Are you joking @virginmedia broadband down again, this is at least the 3rd time in a few weeks.. and started before everyone started working at home..

  • LaurenSTompkins Lauren Tompkins (@LaurenSTompkins) reported from Bournemouth, England

thanks @virginmedia I don’t have a working service as you say I have a bill to pay. According to the records next bill payment is due 04/05 but because your new installation charges are so high I’ve gone over the credit limit.

  • DavidRice22 David Rice (@DavidRice22) reported from Poole, England

@virginmedia @ceasuri_rele This is happening too often now. After the recent outage debacle this is simply not acceptable. Please confirm that all customers in the affected areas will be receiving financial compensation.

  • calhoon Andy Orritt (@calhoon) reported from Bournemouth, England

    @Toastylechat @virginmedia We’re down too. Seems to be a Bournemouth/Christchurch/Poole thing.

  • alice_hancock1 Liss 🏳️‍🌈🐿️ (@alice_hancock1) reported from Bournemouth, England

  • chefmike56 Michael Darracott (@chefmike56) reported from Bournemouth, England

@virginmedia I work online and am really angry I have been unable to run my business so far today .. I entrust my working life to your firm and it's worse than crap

  • chefmike56 Michael Darracott (@chefmike56) reported from Bournemouth, England

@virginmedia In thse hard times is virgin media aware that so many people not happy could so easily join somewhere else eventually making your company go bust . The service is dire

  • GordonFong 5G.ordon Fong (🍸🦐🦀🥋) (@GordonFong) reported from Bournemouth, England

I actually spoke to the #virginmedia engineer who had to fix the fibres in Southampton the other week. A utilities company had cut through them down by the roundabout at the end of the M271 he said. Up all day doing that of which was done by another company!

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • StephanieScicl3 Stephanie Scicluna (@StephanieScicl3) reported

@virginmedia I called 31st March and was told they will look into it and call me back on Saturday which they didn’t. Complaint too long to say over Twitter, internet not working, waiting on a new cable to be installed for 3 months

  • StephanieScicl3 Stephanie Scicluna (@StephanieScicl3) reported

@virginmedia Still no update, 28 days have past. No record of complaint online, still no communication and internet still does not work. Your still taking your monthly direct debit. Shocking customer service

  • WhitingHoward geezer H (@WhitingHoward) reported

@virginmedia I am having issues with my cable services, particularly NETFLIX and bbc iplayer. This has been on going for 12 months. I loose service about 50 minutes into a programme. I need an engineer because I have tried everything else... 🙁🙁🙁

  • chlooee_xoox chloe ♡ (@chlooee_xoox) reported

@virginmedia it’s no working in my pals house down the street either?!

  • markpack Mark Pack 🔶 (@markpack) reported

@virginmedia I've already been sent around the loop with that page several times. Even when my connection is down, it says there isn't a problem. Can you please arrange an engineer visit?

  • jakkimagee B (@jakkimagee) reported

@virginmedia After 30 mins of going round in circle. Person on the end of the phone finally booked engineer but absolutely ridiculous. Even though I told him what the issue was he wouldn't listen and wanted to to through troubleshooting issues even though I explained the issue.

  • ratomagoson H (@ratomagoson) reported

@virginmedia Was on the phone to BPO for 42 mins then your team on the number you provided. Put through to the collections team who kindly put the phone down on me. What shall I do now?

  • jazz_hearts_TA jazz bettany (@jazz_hearts_TA) reported

@virginmedia So far this has been less than helpful. It would help greatly if there was the option to speak to a human through the customer service number as the automated voice just did the same thing I've already done hundreds of times to then just end the call

  • chlooee_xoox chloe ♡ (@chlooee_xoox) reported

@virginmedia well aye, fix the wifi??

  • claradaniel444 clara (@claradaniel444) reported

@SibandaMs @virginmedia Try contacting @meekcyberhelpp on Instagram they can help you recover your hacked or locked account..they helped me too..
