  • jenniferlisaa jb (@jenniferlisaa) reported from Lark Hill, England

@virginmedia Hi, internet is down again. It’s great you sending me hints and tip but let’s face it, it’s your shitty internet connection and not the hub. Pls sort it out.

  • jasonkneen Jason Kneen (@jasonkneen) reported from Ludgershall, England

@TomMockridgeVM, Been a @virginmedia customer for 7 years — now on the M500 package and paying a hefty fee per month for broadband, phone and TV. Have had shocking upload speeds today (0.5mbps instead of 38mbps). Status page says fine — run test says not. Thread 1/3

  • SophieGooner Sophie 🦛 (@SophieGooner) reported from Salisbury, England

@virginmedia it’s also impossible to speak to an actual person? I know the issue. I know I am offline as it is “updating” AGAIN. I want to know if this means I have a broken box as it happens all the time.

  • jasonkneen Jason Kneen (@jasonkneen) reported from Ludgershall, England

@virginmedia and again today — 538 down and 1 up — need to know what’s going on here — you are killing my ability to work.

@virginmedia Please could someone contact Me, regards My 91 year old Dad whose phone line is constantly on a busy tone when calling in, and No dial tone when trying to call out. I've sent countless emails and phone calls. Causing lot's of Stress in Family. Please Help.

  • bringthebow akjensen | BLM (@bringthebow) reported from Salisbury, England

Internet repeatedly dropping out (Salisbury, Wilts) and I don’t think it’s a local problem only. @virginmedia would you be able to update/fix pls?

  • CoachkeanoChris chris Keano keane (@CoachkeanoChris) reported from Amesbury, England

@virginmedia Thank You. I feel so much better, knowing that His phone is now working. Hopefully He now stays with VM, instead of changing to BT, which He is thinking of doing because of the massive problems We have had this month, each time We try contacting you.

  • CoachkeanoChris chris Keano keane (@CoachkeanoChris) reported from Amesbury, England

Virginmedia are an absolute nightmare to get hold of. Been trying to get hold of them all day, but all they do is use the excuse that Covid 19 is causing staffing problems. They have just doubled My Dad's bill, without any explanation and it's causing a great deal of stress. 😞

  • HarvRM Harvey Mills (@HarvRM) reported from Salisbury, England

@virginmedia I’m having issues with my router. I’ve turned off and on, reset it and checked it via your website. Although it says it’s all ok it’s most certainly Isn’t. I can’t keep a Teams or Zoom call and other household members having same problem. Can I have a router upgrade

  • jasonkneen Jason Kneen (@jasonkneen) reported from Ludgershall, England

@virginmedia and just like that, 522 and 0.73mbps again. How do I book an engineer @virginmedia? — I’ve done all the checks; rebooted my network; the hub, I’ve tested on multiple devices WiFi, Wired; direct from the hub and the problem remains — drop outs, poor upload speeds.

  • jasonkneen Jason Kneen (@jasonkneen) reported from Ludgershall, England

@virginmedia OK — you need to do better at this — I shouldn’t be wasting my time telling you there is a problem — you should know this before I do and tell me without going through tests — it’s clearly affecting multiple users

  • Kazza6900 Karen Church (@Kazza6900) reported from Amesbury, England

@virginmedia broadband down AGAIN. WIFI signal has been dropping out for the last few days and every day between 3 and 7 o’clock. Restarted, reset and checked all wires. What next?

  • zach_ward1989 Zach Ward (@zach_ward1989) reported from Salisbury, England

@DavidPalman @virginmedia Constantly had issues in Salisbury. Made working from home impossible. Been with Talk Talk for 5 months, hasn't dropped out once yet :) And cheaper!

  • HarvRM Harvey Mills (@HarvRM) reported from Salisbury, England

@virginmedia you don’t answer your phones, you don’t respond to Twitter, you don’t respond to your online help chat. How exactly is one supposed to get hold of you. I have a problem with a router that needs sorting urgently

  • CoachkeanoChris chris Keano keane (@CoachkeanoChris) reported from Amesbury, England

@virginmedia what an absolute joke of a Company. Worst service of any company I've ever had to deal with, and believe Me I've dealt with some **** ones in My life. My 91 year old Dad has no landline at the moment, and no way of contacting anyone at Virgin. Disgraceful Company.

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • GillardKatie K T G ✨ (@GillardKatie) reported

@virginmedia cannot believe the service I received on the phone this morning. Absolutely awful. Have been without internet for 3 days now and you’re trying to charge me £25 for a call out?! Shocking.

  • jenrun Jennie Runnalls (@jenrun) reported

@virginmedia Renewed my contract yesterday. Told them I also had a fault with my box. Engineer checked and is faulty but sending the same old set top box that isn’t even compatible with itv hub. Why don’t you allow loyal customers to have a latest box like you do new customers? Will cancel!

  • PhilC1984 Piccle (@PhilC1984) reported

@virginmedia Ok, thanks. Who can fix the broadband speed issue for me?

  • Tech_jeet Jeet Toh (@Tech_jeet) reported

@virginmedia 3 times I've called and been hung up on when trying to cancel my contract. Official ofcom Complain is being made and I'm never coming back to this company. #badcustomerservice #customerexperience

  • CommandaCoder CommandaCoder (@CommandaCoder) reported

@virginmedia No it hasn't. The installation date is 20th April. I am assuming this other appointment is the initial groundwork you do prior to the installation. It says "service request" on the appointment. I just checking that I don't need to be at home for this?

  • ItsOnlySimon Simon says (@ItsOnlySimon) reported

    Bah! @virginmedia is down 😫

  • petergoodwin92 Peter Goodwin 🦐 (@petergoodwin92) reported

@virginmedia All I get when trying to manually connect to Virgin is "SIM Card does not allow a connection to this network" But it should as it is a Virgin SIM and contract

  • i_see_double PH (@i_see_double) reported

@virginmedia After 13 years of being a customer, I have cancelled. Thanks.

  • StupotSinders Stuart Sinderbury (@StupotSinders) reported

@virginmedia Thanks for the help but still not optimistic, when I've moved I've always took my equipment and plugged it in before contacting VM so I was sure the signal has not been disconnected outside. It was the same for this move, TV worked but Internet not, I think it's something else.

  • weeksjm19 Jonathan Weeks (@weeksjm19) reported

@virginmedia I have no idea. I notice occasionally when the V6 box is on the network light comes on, on the box. The box is connected via Ethernet cable. Is it a case of to many devices connected via WiFi or is it a hub problem?
