    Upgrading to gigabit broadband meant getting a new router from VirginMedia, so took the opportunity to tidy up and remove old cabling and extension leads. Didn't realise just how much unused crap I still had plugged in/taking up space

    @virginmedia The channel 4 one seems a bit flakey too. The opening sting on each service plays and then some ads but on both the programmes never play so I give up and use the smart TV apps instead. I've assumed it's a bandwidth issue but I suppose if ads are playing the progs should too.

    @virginmedia Yes, and it is a different issue every time. How, in a capital city, is this happening everyday, with your engineers unable to do anything to improve the situation. …and what about that refund, as we are paying for internet which we are not getting?

    @virginmedia @jadeingham3 You do it regularly and then you make a very short call to the customer to make it look like you called back and they failed to answer. You contact centre is dreadful. 6 weeks and counting for a complaint.

    @virginmedia The image goes blocky and sound cuts in and out as it happens. Then will return to normal. It is as if it is not being given enough bandwidth or there is momentary contention issues.

    @virginmedia I have managed to get an engineer visit arranged by raising a complaint on the website and an online chat. Not an ideal situation but it has worked and I have a date. It would have been so much easier if I could have booked an engineer directly via the app.
