    @virginmedia You didn’t mention the refund that Virgin Media clients should be getting. Reputational damage is one thing, but unless these repeated service outages cost your shareholders money, things won’t improve.

    Please @virginmedia learn from the banks and offer your customers the option to pause services or waive cancellation charges for people losing their jobs. £80 to take TV off my plan after 15 years as a customer is not helpful

    @virginmedia Whether broadband is a utility or not is a point of view. From my perspective, it’s a utility. I accept no supplier can guarantee service. VM may be just be on an unlucky streak. Your service is presently not something I trust - based on current experience.

    I actually spoke to the #virginmedia engineer who had to fix the fibres in Southampton the other week. A utilities company had cut through them down by the roundabout at the end of the M271 he said. Up all day doing that of which was done by another company!

    @virginmedia Right this second, no. But it’s becoming clear that I cannot rely upon the service. It really is a utility. My water, gas & electricity all seem to run smoothly but not my broadband service. It is very frustrating.

    @virginmedia I’m awaiting a call back from a manager to confirm from the new customer team that he can get a quick start pack out to me ASAP due to my unique circumstances. The manager John said he or a colleague would call me by Saturday. It’s now Thursday and I’ve heard nothing!

    thanks @virginmedia I don’t have a working service as you say I have a bill to pay. According to the records next bill payment is due 04/05 but because your new installation charges are so high I’ve gone over the credit limit.

    @virginmedia I’m disappointed in the lack of service! I’m a vulnerable customer and yet they don’t seem to be bothered by this fact! I get promised call backs and they never happen... I’m left with no facilities

    @virginmedia Yes. Looking it up it seems to be a known Hub 5 issue with a lot of laptops not detecting it. I might have to bring my laptop in to work to connect and see if I can do an update that will cover the drivers and see if that works but, judging by other comments, that might not work.

    @virginmedia So we had a web chat last Friday as arranged thanks. Ended with complaint being escalated to Deadlock Team. Told it can take up to 48hrs for team to investigate and get in touch. And...once again, a promised VM deadline comes & goes & nothing happens.

    Hey @virginmedia, thanks for lying to me when I arranged my move that I’d be able to get “an emergency technician in 24 hours” if there was a problem. Now that there is a problem, after three separate attempts via your helplines, the best I can get is 5 days from now?? 😐
