Please @virginmedia learn from the banks and offer your customers the option to pause services or waive cancellation charges for people losing their jobs. £80 to take TV off my plan after 15 years as a customer is not helpful

@virginmedia You didn’t mention the refund that Virgin Media clients should be getting. Reputational damage is one thing, but unless these repeated service outages cost your shareholders money, things won’t improve.

I actually spoke to the #virginmedia engineer who had to fix the fibres in Southampton the other week. A utilities company had cut through them down by the roundabout at the end of the M271 he said. Up all day doing that of which was done by another company!

@virginmedia Whether broadband is a utility or not is a point of view. From my perspective, it’s a utility. I accept no supplier can guarantee service. VM may be just be on an unlucky streak. Your service is presently not something I trust - based on current experience.

@virginmedia @ceasuri_rele This is happening too often now. After the recent outage debacle this is simply not acceptable. Please confirm that all customers in the affected areas will be receiving financial compensation.

@virginmedia Right this second, no. But it’s becoming clear that I cannot rely upon the service. It really is a utility. My water, gas & electricity all seem to run smoothly but not my broadband service. It is very frustrating.

@virginmedia @vieiravascos I also have CONSTANT issues with your service and I mean CONSTANT. Your call centre staff are unapologetically unhelpful and yet I still pay an arm and a frigging leg for a service I can hardly use!!! I’m fuming! @Ofcom Virgin needs investigating!

@virginmedia Would love to, called yesterday evening. Wasn't cut off this time, but you were unable to rectify a issue you caused. I complained about the service- I was told a manager will call me back in 2 hours. I said “I'll give you three.” Guess who didn't get a call back?

@virginmedia @CarersUK How do I escalate complaint ref104131881. You did not explain the porting process regarding phone no’s when I cancelled my contract in Dec 2019. You chased for money I do not owe and have passed my details to a debt collector. I’m still awaiting reply to my letter dated 5/8/20!!!

What’s happening? More like what’s not happening. #virginmedia internet. Intermittent, half speed, no upload. No problems in the area so that means there’s nothing wrong, right? Wrong.
