@virginmedia Who knows but certain people with in your team have been very flippant about our situation and trying to palm us off with a 20pound credit. This is nowhere near acceptable considering the stress and upset your so called customer service team has put us through.

  • FolkardSimon Simon Folkard (@FolkardSimon) reported from Colchester, England

@krista_leia I don't know what to believe anymore, he told me on Sunday that Virgin Media were comping to fix it but it's now so bad i cannot even connect it. I can get wi-fi installed here just for me, but you usually need a phone line and the cost is going to be fairly high.

  • liam_garwood grwd 🦅 (@liam_garwood) reported from Ipswich District, England

@virginmedia why is it so hard to get in contact with you? I can’t start a live chat and when I ring and think I’m getting some progress you tell me to look online and hang up????

  • rachelfortnum Rachel Fortnum-Adams (@rachelfortnum) reported from Ipswich District, England

@virginmedia since Christmas our WiFi has been disgustingly bad. A few weeks ago I called yourselves and spent almost 2 hours on the phone. I upgraded our WiFi at home to the best possible WiFi we could have and yet it’s still shockingly bad. I’ve never known such shoddy service

  • WiseOlMurph Murph (@WiseOlMurph) reported from Ipswich District, England

Anyone in Ipswich struggling with Virgin Media speeds currently? It’s awful paying all this money for absolute shite speeds.

  • FolkardSimon Simon Folkard (@FolkardSimon) reported from Colchester, England

@virginmedia I have something called a TP Adapter? in my room. When it is able to come through that the signal is brilliant, but for some reason it is not coming through right now.

  • rachelfortnum Rachel Fortnum-Adams (@rachelfortnum) reported from Ipswich District, England

@virginmedia I am actually so disgusted with your customer service for our WiFi that I have no words. How many times do I need to contact you? I’ve been a customer for 22 years and I’ve never experienced such a bad service #sortitout #virginmedia

  • steevXIII Steve Tovey (@steevXIII) reported from Colchester, England

@virginmedia I've been having this issue continuously for a couple of months and they are still continuing. Yes.

  • BrunningLee Lee Brunning (@BrunningLee) reported from Ipswich District, England

@virginmedia Look I've had two days of total crap from you guys. I just don't have the energy to deal with this anymore. You've took money off me wen u shouldn't. Because of covid I'm on less money so an extra 26 quid is massive to us,but all your guys keep doing is fobbing us off. 😠

  • RUSSELL91779006 RUSSELL WALKER (@RUSSELL91779006) reported from Colchester, England

@IpMcdonald Snap...the same for me, but with virgin media. Absolutely abysmal service.

  • steevXIII Steve Tovey (@steevXIII) reported from Colchester, England

Anyone else have a problem with All4 app on @virginmedia Can access the menu / home page but anytime I try to actually watch a programme I get a black screen & 4 dots endlessly blinking, as if buffering, but the show never, eeeevveerrr appears... On Googling, seems common issue?

  • matt40k Matt Smith (@matt40k) reported from Ipswich District, England

Ok so, virgin media router kinda sucks, if I use the Bt SmartHub 2, it would basically just be a Wi-fi access point, so would need a like a rpi for dhcp Or I could just buy a google nest Wi-fi or something ubiquiti

Please can you dm me so you can get someone out to fix. Tried calling various times no luck. Getting a little annoyed @virginmedia

  • aljsimons Al Simons (@aljsimons) reported

@virginmedia BT Sport Ultimate signal keeps breaking up on both my V6 boxes. Was working fine a few weeks ago and Virgin Ultra HD is still working fine so it's not my setup. Is this a known issue? Is a fix in the works?

  • JulieSm80608465 Julie Smyth (@JulieSm80608465) reported

@virginmedia Hi, just missing the WiFi pods, was told to contact you again in 48 to 72 hours if the problem wasn't resolved, yes the speed is there but my son's room is still a black spot, that's why I want the pods, that isn't going to change in the next 2-3 days. Thank you

  • k3nnard Adam (@k3nnard) reported

@virginmedia I've just done this and rebooted and it us still not working.

  • TemperleyDesign TemperleyDesign (@TemperleyDesign) reported

@martinpaul1970 @virginmedia which defeats the point of asking to downgrade due to monthly budgets...my gig 1 with 2 pods still struggles with wifi upstairs and tech support say to plug a laptop direct and test speeds...not sure how that will help an xbox on wifi upstairs...worst internet company!

  • GemmaFisher87 Gemma Fisher (@GemmaFisher87) reported

@virginmedia I have spoken to your team, and rather unhelpfully told I can’t cancel, forwarded to an escalation team but this is all not good enough, I was told latest date 22nd august even confirmed appointment yesterday for you to cancel yet again.

  • WeeeRob Robert Walter🇪🇺 (@WeeeRob) reported

@virginmedia The service is great, no issue with Broadband or TV etc. Even the other day the phone customer service was great, just get new QAs for the website. It's really, really poor.

  • GemmaFisher87 Gemma Fisher (@GemmaFisher87) reported

Update, can’t cancel with them as would include a cancellation fee for services I haven’t even got, no nearer date @virginmedia would have avoided if I knew all of this #virginmediadown #virginmedia #virginmediascam

  • ylilxanoi 🥔 A bean has no name 🥔 (@ylilxanoi) reported

@virginmedia Been there, done that. Can somebody please tell us what the issue is in WN1 area because keeping changing the estimated times is passing me off. Tell me the problem and how long it will take so I can decide whether to wait or go to BT, it's beyond a joke now
