@virginmedia No issues with BB but was expecting nice easy switch for my LL number. But no thats not happened... appears I will be paying for 2 providers for 2 weeks as number switch not requested... to be told when spoke to your "customer SMS advisor" that its 2 weeks from installation...

@virginmedia Issues have been far from fixed!! My router rebooted itself 5 times today. This is not acceptable when I could be working on customer systems attempting to support them with their IT when I can't even rely on my own ISP to deliver a decent service is embarrassing!

@virginmedia Yes, having trouble with both, there is just not a good WiFi signal upstIrs. I pay for the highest speed and quite frankly it’s rubish. You have to wat on the phone for hours

@virginmedia @lemonfreshrob This makes zero sense. A router is just a hub point for the devices that are connected to it. If the internet connection is down then yes ofc there will be no connectivity to the *outside* world, but devices connected to it should still talk—unless the router is config’d wrong

@virginmedia The outage has. I gather it's a problem affecting a lot of South London at the moment. But I don't see why I can't have a wifi inside my flat just because there's no connection to outside. Bad design of the hub.

@joebhoy08 @virginmedia Ended up calling again and actually got someone this time. I have to wait until Tuesday for a technician to come out. Pin hole reset is my last hope as advised by the call handler , I’m not putting any money on it working. Every 2-4 months there is an issue.

@virginmedia My 92 year old mother in law had had a letter saying that due to "maintenance" her phone may be down for 2 days and to make other arrangements. She has no mobile and that will also mean her alarm pendant will be down, how can she make other arrangements.
