@InTheseHeels Have you tried turning it on and off again? .....OK in all seriousness it happens to me on my LAN . I concluded as I'm on a domestic connection, Virgin Media , I suspect they refresh the network to loose dormant connections periodically and I get booted off for a few secs

@virginmedia Eventually but the issue had taken 4 days to resolve which is shocking. Your customer service is the worst I’ve ever come across #virginmedia

  • rachelfortnum Rachel Fortnum-Adams (@rachelfortnum) reported from Ipswich District, England

@virginmedia I am actually so disgusted with your customer service for our WiFi that I have no words. How many times do I need to contact you? I’ve been a customer for 22 years and I’ve never experienced such a bad service #sortitout #virginmedia

  • liam_garwood grwd 🦅 (@liam_garwood) reported from Ipswich District, England

@virginmedia why is it so hard to get in contact with you? I can’t start a live chat and when I ring and think I’m getting some progress you tell me to look online and hang up????

  • matt40k Matt Smith (@matt40k) reported from Ipswich District, England

Ok so, virgin media router kinda sucks, if I use the Bt SmartHub 2, it would basically just be a Wi-fi access point, so would need a like a rpi for dhcp Or I could just buy a google nest Wi-fi or something ubiquiti

  • rachelfortnum Rachel Fortnum-Adams (@rachelfortnum) reported from Ipswich District, England

@virginmedia since Christmas our WiFi has been disgustingly bad. A few weeks ago I called yourselves and spent almost 2 hours on the phone. I upgraded our WiFi at home to the best possible WiFi we could have and yet it’s still shockingly bad. I’ve never known such shoddy service

  • gunsmoke70 Richard Martin (@gunsmoke70) reported from Manningtree, England

@virginmedia Hi. Please read the thread. One App doesn't work properly, my TV box is generally fine. From a quick Google I can see it is a problem for other people with Virgin Media TiVo boxes too where the @All4 app doesn't load programmes. I can access the app and all the menu screens.

  • BrunningLee Lee Brunning (@BrunningLee) reported from Ipswich District, England

@virginmedia Who knows but certain people with in your team have been very flippant about our situation and trying to palm us off with a 20pound credit. This is nowhere near acceptable considering the stress and upset your so called customer service team has put us through.

  • Grovesy71 Darren Grove (@Grovesy71) reported from Colchester, England

@virginmedia contract changed last year, advised incorrectly by advisor, discussed with call centre & complained via your complaints procedure - no calls received to date to address from now over 1 month from complaint date #shockingservice for a loyal customer

@virginmedia I’m sorry I thought it explained it all. I’m trying to redoing after my 30 days notice to cancel and now without service at address, as required by the statement on your website. Would have renewed but the call came from a mobile number with an agent with an accent, dodgy perhaps

  • WorldShax Dr Saffron Vickers Walkling (@WorldShax) reported

Help required, techy Twitter friends. Seemed I switched off the Internet plug at the wall while I was away and now can't reconnect to @virginmedia on any devices. What am I doing wrong? Phone says no IP address, laptop says no Internet....

  • mabrock1980 Michael Brockbanks (@mabrock1980) reported

@OmbudServices When someone gives 30 days notice to cancel their broadband, is it legal for the provider to arbitrarily cancel the cancellation to try to sell you a lesser deal than the one you're after, or have you pay for another month's service? @virginmedia seem to think so.

  • Coldo35 Colin Barr (@Coldo35) reported

@virginmedia why is it impossible to get any help with ongoing faults? I pay for 500meg but only get 124 average. Three calls and a promises of a call back each time which never happens. Time to move to bt.

@virginmedia Unable to help as apparently there’s an internet outage in the area
