@virginmedia No I didn’t and I don’t remember receiving one. I have checked all my emails from you and nothing. I rang a couple of days ago to ask for a discount and was basically told to get lost. I spend £100 a month with you guys and was shocked at the service. Account name Lisa Morley.

@krista_leia I don't know what to believe anymore, he told me on Sunday that Virgin Media were comping to fix it but it's now so bad i cannot even connect it. I can get wi-fi installed here just for me, but you usually need a phone line and the cost is going to be fairly high.

@virginmedia Hi. Please read the thread. One App doesn't work properly, my TV box is generally fine. From a quick Google I can see it is a problem for other people with Virgin Media TiVo boxes too where the @All4 app doesn't load programmes. I can access the app and all the menu screens.

Anyone else have a problem with All4 app on @virginmedia Can access the menu / home page but anytime I try to actually watch a programme I get a black screen & 4 dots endlessly blinking, as if buffering, but the show never, eeeevveerrr appears... On Googling, seems common issue?

@7pudinis @virginmedia Was signal issue that originated from the Initial install yrs ago, bent wire in outside box, I guess over the yrs degraded till no signal, all fixed now

@InTheseHeels Have you tried turning it on and off again? .....OK in all seriousness it happens to me on my LAN . I concluded as I'm on a domestic connection, Virgin Media , I suspect they refresh the network to loose dormant connections periodically and I get booted off for a few secs

@Howard_Norton @Virgin I haven’t even managed to get through to @virginmedia yet despite multiple attempts and long holds to even comment on their actual customer service. The fact they are trying to charge me for something I have cancelled and haven’t used is beyond the joke already! #poorservice

Well what a great service (sarcasm) we’ve experienced with @virginmedia ...3 days of trying to resolve pixelated TV, hours of phone calls 5 incompetent employees then joy someone who knew what they were doing fixed the fault in seconds ...worth every penny of £135 a month ...NOT!

@virginmedia Yes of course he has. He’s been told twice that his cancellation has been actioned. I’ve logged into his account today (with his permission) and I can see rather than being cancelled his package has increased and been renewed from the date he’s asked to cancel

@naus881 @virginmedia Complaints, Virgin Media, Sunderland, SR43 4AA write to cancel. Give 30 days notice then cancel direct debit. Meantime search alternative provider to switch. Send letter recorded delivery and say you could not get through to customer service on phone. Job done.

@julierone61 @virginmedia I eventually got through to the “cancellation team” who was actually a sales assistant and tried to sell me virgin broadband on a discount. When I told her 4 times I want to cancel, she passed me onto someone else, who tried a further 5 times to sell me -1/2
