Vodafone Issues Reports Near Swanage, England

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Swanage and nearby locations:

  • jsbilsbrough James (@jsbilsbrough) reported from Boscombe, England

@GrzegorzLeeski @stegoat @VodafoneUK Same here in Bournemouth, looks pretty serious as half their systems seem to be down. Cleaned unplugged the server again ?

  • rafthemaster Richard Frame (@rafthemaster) reported from Bournemouth, England

@VodafoneUK 25mins in a queue for the WRONG department because you’re systems are crap. Now being transferred after going through security - it better be 5mins or less like the advisor stated. But if that team isn’t that busy why did I get queued for the wrong team for so long

  • swain_elect Rob Swain (@swain_elect) reported from Bournemouth, England

@VodafoneUK Have been through this many many times. Have spent hours sending speed tests to you. Still nothing has been done. I pay a huge amount a month for extremely poor data speed and atrocious customer care. Can’t wait for my contract to end with #Vodafone #Vodafonedown #fail

  • TanyaOCo Tanya (@TanyaOCo) reported from Poole, England

@VodafoneUK worst service I have experienced this year.... If that’s how you treat customers at the start I dread to think how you treat them later on!

  • d_lynaghan Donovan Lynaghan (@d_lynaghan) reported from Bournemouth, England

@VodafoneUK service is appalling. Requested a phone disconnected earlier this year, confirmed, and still being charged. Your bots can't answer everything! #poorcustomerservice

  • jsbilsbrough James (@jsbilsbrough) reported from Boscombe, England

Looks like @VodafoneUK have had a major outage for home broadband users. Can’t get any outbound traffic, seems to be a core network issue as I get an IP but can’t ping their gateway or any IP (e.g. cloud flare or Google DNS servers.

  • swain_elect Rob Swain (@swain_elect) reported from Bournemouth, England

@VodafoneUK What about sorting out your signal in #BOURNEMOUTH #Vodafone #Vodafonedown

  • GeorgiaTurner Georgia T: Comms pro (@GeorgiaTurner) reported from Bournemouth, England

@VodafoneUK I’ve done that. Today I’ve been told our appt is cancelled, that it was never scheduled in the first place & also that an engineer is still definitely coming before 6pm. Can you confirm which please? If anything but the latter, apologies in advance for the reaction this end.

  • Glyn1980 BGS (@Glyn1980) reported from Bournemouth, England

Fed up @VodafoneUK - my phone has had virtually no signal at all for around 17 days or so. Can't make or receive calls. Your advisor gave link to network status tracker and it shows maintenance, and it did have a completion date of 16/6 last week, now there is no completion date

  • oggygone Lauren Lessells (@oggygone) reported from Christchurch, England

@VodafoneUK broadband been down for a couple of hours in Bh232dz, thoughts?

  • rafthemaster Richard Frame (@rafthemaster) reported from Bournemouth, England

@VodafoneUK I told you your router is crap - but no what do I know I’m just a customer, now ALL my devices are whining about the connection

  • swain_elect Rob Swain (@swain_elect) reported from Bournemouth, England

    @VodafoneUK The Vodafone coverage says I should get 5g outdoors. I struggle to get 4g!! #fail #Vodafone

  • TanyaOCo Tanya (@TanyaOCo) reported from Poole, England

Shockingly bad service today received from @VodafoneUK

  • JamieSavin Jamie Savin (@JamieSavin) reported from Bournemouth, England

@VodafoneUK @VOXI_UK @EASPORTSFIFA you've caused me a lot of heartache with last minute losses and terrible pack luck but I still love you. #RandomActsofKindnessDay

  • divingwill XYZ (@divingwill) reported from Bournemouth, England

@CityFibre @VodafoneUK I hope you have better customer service than we do. 9 days later and still no contact! The road and pavements are like swiss cheese, and they just seem to want to make more holes! @CityFibre are you looking to go into strip mining or something?

  • Glyn1980 BGS (@Glyn1980) reported from Bournemouth, England

@VodafoneUK Understood, still fail to see why for the same phone you want to charge £25 a month extra and for an additional year. The £60+ you quoted was also for less GB's of data and it included max tariff discount of £7ppm according to your agent.

  • PatBrandwood Pat Brandwood (@PatBrandwood) reported from Poole, England

@maccaspacca1 @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Isn't the problem that these companies pay very low wages to staff who know nothing except how to answer a phone, often not in their first language? Try asking a train line call service about a town in England.

  • lizzy_maries Lizzy Maries (@lizzy_maries) reported from Bournemouth, England

@CityFibre @VodafoneUK we’re so mad at you! We switched to your new network, wifi goes down all the time, your ref numbers don’t recognise, hours on chat support… still no wifi. Don’t switch 😞

  • rafthemaster Richard Frame (@rafthemaster) reported from Bournemouth, England

@VodafoneUK Tbh - I’m bored of your support. Probably spent 10+ hours and the issue has never fully gone away I got fed up of arguing when your team just don’t understand technology - VODAFONE SOLUTION: unplug ALLLL your tech and use 1 thing at a time, how very 1999 of you

  • swain_elect Rob Swain (@swain_elect) reported from Bournemouth, England

@VodafoneUK @SpotifyUK What about concentrating on getting your signal sorted? #fail #Vodafonedown

Vodafone Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • waynp Wayne Peacock (@waynp) reported

@maccaspacca1 @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I agree with the sentiment of don't shoot the messenger. However, customer service agents are people, right? People generally have a level of respect and decorum when it comes to bereavement. If they are literally reading from a script then it might as well be a chat bot.

  • WemDMJ ex-Allotment keeper (@WemDMJ) reported

@VodafoneUK @RD03157723 You are on the wrong end of this @vodaphoneuk . Why not give your BOT a rest and actually serve customers properly via a proper support desk. There are many people not fully tech savvy that find such as BOTs very confusing. Really bad.

  • Hansford4Peter Peter Hansford (@Hansford4Peter) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK We had an issue with Sky. My mum had insurance policy on her very old sky box. My wife going through her affairs cancelled the insurance. Sky then reinstated the direct debit. We phoned, we must speak to mrs h, that’s odd you reinstated the direct debit without her. They talked

  • adri_port Adrian Porter (@adri_port) reported

@bmac1906 @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Why would you contact a bereavement team about someone that's still alive? And even if you were acting for a deceased relative the customer services department of a half decent company ought to be able to transfer to such a team themselves

  • DitMeister Raigles (@DitMeister) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK This doesn’t compare to your awful situation but I left Vodaphone in 2005 when I received a bill for 700 pound (a lot to me at the time) for data despite having a data cap set. I was told on the phone no data cap had been set (despite previous reassurance). No option to challenge

  • MilliAbo Milli🛸 (@MilliAbo) reported

never told about and now behind, after HOURS and several days on the phone, We then started paying for it as they wouldn’t help. Now theyre not letting us again, every time we try to ring up,they’re rude and aggressive and try selling us something completely different. @VodafoneUK

  • MelJCarney Desperate Times #FBPE #GTTO🇺🇦 (@MelJCarney) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @K2020Cat @VodafoneUK So what network do people think is good then, judging by the comments not sure if anyone is better than an other.

  • StreetEnd60 Old Swan Blue * (@StreetEnd60) reported

@VodafoneUK @speckyninja My fathers got dementia and can’t remember anything about his contract, passwords etc. Basically paying for a phone he can’t even use. It’s a nightmare trying to get help..

  • peterharperuk Peter Harper 🇪🇺 🚲 (@peterharperuk) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK @VodafoneUK I'm not in contact. So I will cancel my account unless I hear you are resolving these people's issues. You should be ashamed

  • DavidParry11 David Parry 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🇪🇺💙 (@DavidParry11) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK This organisation has been like this for years - when my Dad died suddenly they said we had to pay extra to cancel the account because we hadn’t given them the required notice! Morally bankrupt tax avoiding shambles!
