Vodafone Issues Reports Near Oswestry, England

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Oswestry and nearby locations:

  • Shaunjenks Shaun Jenks 📸📱 (@Shaunjenks) reported from Shrewsbury, England

@DylanMcD8 @iJames_ @VOXI_UK @VodafoneUK @VOXI_UK is owned by @VodafoneUK it’s a sub brand and operates on the Vodafone network as an MVNO, so I’m basically still with Vodafone. It even still says Vodafone as my carrier. So I assume it’s just an admin switch there end.

  • Shaunjenks Shaun Jenks 📸📱 (@Shaunjenks) reported from Shrewsbury, England

So 5G officially went live in the UK today on the @EE network in 5 major cities, @VodafoneUK will follow suit in a few weeks. 5G compatible smartphones are still pretty thin on the ground, and with no iPhone expected until 2nd half of 2020 this is going to be a slow burner #5G

  • Shaunjenks Shaun Jenks 📱⌚️💻📸 (@Shaunjenks) reported from Shrewsbury, England

@iJames_ @VOXI_UK @VodafoneUK I have my suspicion that it isn’t permanent though. I just think it’s because the carrier settings aren’t compatible, therefore iPhone reverts to default for the type of data network connection. So 4G here is LTE in the states.

  • Shaunjenks Shaun Jenks 📸📱 (@Shaunjenks) reported from Shrewsbury, England

@iJames_ @DylanMcD8 @VOXI_UK @VodafoneUK It doesn’t really bother me, on the Xs you can’t see the carrier unless you pull down control centre because the notch takes up too much space 😂

  • Shaunjenks Shaun Jenks 📱⌚️💻📸 (@Shaunjenks) reported from Shrewsbury, England

@iJames_ @VOXI_UK @VodafoneUK You’ll get the “stock” answer of - “beta software is not supported software and you install at your own risk knowing that there may be compatibility issues” 😂😂

  • Shaunjenks Shaun Jenks 📸  📱 (@Shaunjenks) reported from Shrewsbury, England

@BenObi2000 @VodafoneUK @EE I also believe I may be wrong but the EE does not support UMTS on the esim but Vodafone does. Shouldn’t be an issue really as 4G LTE is pretty much everywhere now.

  • bigsteeeeve New leaf (@bigsteeeeve) reported

@yorkspride @VodafoneUK No, you've misunderstood.. Their customers would not be able to read twitter because, err, the network is down so its futile vodaphone sending out a message to say the networks down, people haven't got a network that's working to view it..

  • bigsteeeeve New leaf (@bigsteeeeve) reported

@yorkspride @VodafoneUK Presumably because they won't be able to read it because the networks down?

  • DStrophair Dan (@DStrophair) reported

@gakuto_bongo @VodafoneUK Wait till you see how carphone warehouse treat customers. They refuse to answer emails and the department I am trying to contact "doesn't have a phone number"

  • haruma haruma (@haruma) reported

PSA, if you think of signing up with @VodafoneUK: - If you face an issue, they say it may take up to 5 work days to fix it. - they take up to 72h to deploy their deploy their techs, and they don't raise the call until all other ways are explored (e.g. billing) #feeltheconnection

  • yorkspride National conservative ✝ 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧 No DM's (@yorkspride) reported

@ItsJustaRide @VodafoneUK Broadband is down for sure, not so sure about 5g etc

  • jackinash jackie nash (@jackinash) reported

@VodafoneUK Our understanding (married to comms specialist) is it’s an analogue line therefore we suspect it’s a simple case of a bad re-connection of a faulty joint. Un-related to the ongoing outage.

  • a_ndyrichardson Andy Richardson (@a_ndyrichardson) reported

When will @VodafoneUK, the "award-winning network to keep you connected to the things and people that matter", allow those of us on @TfL underground services (exc. Jubilee Line) actually use 4G or WiFi? And, no, the @virginmedia monthly pass offering hasn't worked for 6+ months

  • paintedman1982 jamie siggers (@paintedman1982) reported

@VodafoneUK nearly 40 hours with no internet. A known issue engineers are working on. The only reason I know that is because I talked to someone on the app at 14:00ish yesterday. No more info and no updates. What's going on?

  • SeorasDrum1 George (Seòras or Jørgen) Ferguson 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 (@SeorasDrum1) reported

@VodafoneUK Internet is garbage... It doesn't do what is promised. Seeking to cancel.

  • chrismldavies Chris (@chrismldavies) reported

@VodafoneUK hi I made an order yesterday had a text today saying it’s been cancelled but it’s not saying that when I use the order tracker, please can you help
