Vodafone Issues Reports Near Oswestry, England

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Oswestry and nearby locations:

  • Shaunjenks Shaun Jenks 📸  📱 (@Shaunjenks) reported from Shrewsbury, England

@BenObi2000 @VodafoneUK @EE I also believe I may be wrong but the EE does not support UMTS on the esim but Vodafone does. Shouldn’t be an issue really as 4G LTE is pretty much everywhere now.

  • LewisBailey93 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿LEWISBAILEYJONES🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 (@LewisBailey93) reported from Wrexham, Wales

@VodafoneUK been waiting since the 10th November for my NUC code - what a joke! When I’ve called up to speak with customer service they’ve advised they can’t help... Shouldn’t take this long!!

  • Shaunjenks Shaun Jenks 📱⌚️💻📸 (@Shaunjenks) reported from Shrewsbury, England

@iJames_ @VOXI_UK @VodafoneUK You’ll get the “stock” answer of - “beta software is not supported software and you install at your own risk knowing that there may be compatibility issues” 😂😂

  • Shaunjenks Shaun Jenks 📸📱 (@Shaunjenks) reported from Shrewsbury, England

@iJames_ @DylanMcD8 @VOXI_UK @VodafoneUK It doesn’t really bother me, on the Xs you can’t see the carrier unless you pull down control centre because the notch takes up too much space 😂

  • Shaunjenks Shaun Jenks 📸📱 (@Shaunjenks) reported from Shrewsbury, England

@DylanMcD8 @iJames_ @VOXI_UK @VodafoneUK @VOXI_UK is owned by @VodafoneUK it’s a sub brand and operates on the Vodafone network as an MVNO, so I’m basically still with Vodafone. It even still says Vodafone as my carrier. So I assume it’s just an admin switch there end.

  • Shaunjenks Shaun Jenks 📸📱 (@Shaunjenks) reported from Shrewsbury, England

So 5G officially went live in the UK today on the @EE network in 5 major cities, @VodafoneUK will follow suit in a few weeks. 5G compatible smartphones are still pretty thin on the ground, and with no iPhone expected until 2nd half of 2020 this is going to be a slow burner #5G

  • Shaunjenks Shaun Jenks 📱⌚️💻📸 (@Shaunjenks) reported from Shrewsbury, England

@iJames_ @VOXI_UK @VodafoneUK I have my suspicion that it isn’t permanent though. I just think it’s because the carrier settings aren’t compatible, therefore iPhone reverts to default for the type of data network connection. So 4G here is LTE in the states.

  • Shaunjenks Shaun Jenks 🇬🇧📱⌚️💻📸✈️ (@Shaunjenks) reported from Shrewsbury, England

@DylanMcD8 @VOXI_UK @VodafoneUK I’m just glad I have an 11Pro and not a Xr 😂. Vodafone and O2 have a cell sharing agreement meaning your phone will switch between the 2 networks in poor signal areas (cheaper way of increasing coverage) they also share many cell towers with both having antenna on a tower.

  • Shaunjenks Shaun Jenks 🇬🇧📱⌚️💻📸✈️ (@Shaunjenks) reported from Shrewsbury, England

@ThisIsNoahEvans @VOXI_UK @VodafoneUK I had issues for around 20 minutes, seems to be back up a running now though

@Tonysmini @OpenreachHelp @VodafoneUK I know I can do it & im capable of it -but as the equipment doesn’t belong to me (it’s the property of open reach - we just have to right to use it) “should” I do it? What isf I damage it on the instruction of VF? Who is responsible for damages or injuries?

  • sephster Andy Millington 🐘💉💉💉 (@sephster) reported

@VodafoneUK I am not receiving calls at the moment. People trying to call me say it goes straight to voice mail but I have a full signal and receive a text right away saying I missed a call. Are you able to assist please?

  • Patrick21914640 Patrick Harrison (@Patrick21914640) reported

@VodafoneUK your customer service is appalling! An esim swap has turned into a nightmare! None of your customer service agents can give any time scale when number will port, now over 24 hours and no network on either phone. Shocking!

  • zoe_walker19 Zoe walker (@zoe_walker19) reported

  • peteh678 Pete PeteH678 on GETTR (@peteh678) reported

I think it's outrageous that @VodafoneUK can hold me to an 18 month contract (14 months in) When they are unable to provide a service at my new address. WTF am I supposed to do, not ******* move?

  • lukesampson Luke Sampson (@lukesampson) reported

@VodafoneUK Please help me i being billed as a business account customer yet i just want to have a personal account as it should be. Please help?

  • gso_jones Gareth Jones 💙 (@gso_jones) reported

@VodafoneUK shocking customer service from you today. For those that clapped for NHS workers clearly vodaphone don’t want to help us now. So sad. 🥲

  • oldboyavfc Paul S (@oldboyavfc) reported
