Vodafone Issues Reports Near Oswestry, England

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Oswestry and nearby locations:

  • Shaunjenks Shaun Jenks 🇬🇧📱⌚️💻📸✈️ (@Shaunjenks) reported from Shrewsbury, England

@ThisIsNoahEvans @VOXI_UK @VodafoneUK I had issues for around 20 minutes, seems to be back up a running now though

  • Shaunjenks Shaun Jenks 📸📱 (@Shaunjenks) reported from Shrewsbury, England

@iJames_ @DylanMcD8 @VOXI_UK @VodafoneUK It doesn’t really bother me, on the Xs you can’t see the carrier unless you pull down control centre because the notch takes up too much space 😂

  • Shaunjenks Shaun Jenks 📱⌚️💻📸 (@Shaunjenks) reported from Shrewsbury, England

@iJames_ @VOXI_UK @VodafoneUK You’ll get the “stock” answer of - “beta software is not supported software and you install at your own risk knowing that there may be compatibility issues” 😂😂

  • Shaunjenks Shaun Jenks 📸  📱 (@Shaunjenks) reported from Shrewsbury, England

@BenObi2000 @VodafoneUK @EE I also believe I may be wrong but the EE does not support UMTS on the esim but Vodafone does. Shouldn’t be an issue really as 4G LTE is pretty much everywhere now.

  • Shaunjenks Shaun Jenks 📱⌚️💻📸 (@Shaunjenks) reported from Shrewsbury, England

@iJames_ @VOXI_UK @VodafoneUK I have my suspicion that it isn’t permanent though. I just think it’s because the carrier settings aren’t compatible, therefore iPhone reverts to default for the type of data network connection. So 4G here is LTE in the states.

  • Shaunjenks Shaun Jenks 📸📱 (@Shaunjenks) reported from Shrewsbury, England

@DylanMcD8 @iJames_ @VOXI_UK @VodafoneUK @VOXI_UK is owned by @VodafoneUK it’s a sub brand and operates on the Vodafone network as an MVNO, so I’m basically still with Vodafone. It even still says Vodafone as my carrier. So I assume it’s just an admin switch there end.

  • Shaunjenks Shaun Jenks 📸📱 (@Shaunjenks) reported from Shrewsbury, England

So 5G officially went live in the UK today on the @EE network in 5 major cities, @VodafoneUK will follow suit in a few weeks. 5G compatible smartphones are still pretty thin on the ground, and with no iPhone expected until 2nd half of 2020 this is going to be a slow burner #5G

  • verityam Verity (@verityam) reported

@VodafoneUK I need help ASAP. I’ve been charged for 2 contacts for 4 months now (1 of which I’ve never used), despite talking to your CS team 5+ times. You finally refunded me £173 that I’d been charged in this time, but now my signal has been cut off on my phone.

  • MusicForLabels A&R Placements (@MusicForLabels) reported

@VodafoneUK @Ofcom Thanks, and yes this is way to much to get countless texts from you. I never opted myself in either. I have DMD.

hive mind - have TERRIBLE Internet in my area in wales with @BritishTelecom - considering wireless router and 4G sim for work laptop and streaming. My mb is on @VodafoneUK - they do a 24mth package thats £30 mth for 100gb data (first 6mth £15) - that good? any tips welcome

  • GallerJason Jason Galler (@GallerJason) reported

    @LeighDean22 @Apple @VodafoneUK Hardware problem? 😖

  • knuthf Knut H Flottorp (@knuthf) reported

@BitcoinPanjab @VodafoneUK It’s a good cause but far from the first SMS. SMS is a part of GSM core service and it’s fully encrypted. Part of GSM was developed as a NATO contract to encrypt military communications. SMS was in the first mobile net, the Nordic Mobile Telephony, 1981. GSM is encrypted voice.

  • LSemaratne Lorenzo Semaratne (@LSemaratne) reported

@VodafoneUK how rubbish is you ‘support’?? 30 mins of going in circles with a useless BOT with limited responses. Either upgrade your software or hire HUMANS!!! There are more than 5 questions…as you can tell I am extremely frustrated!

  • Judgegeo George (@Judgegeo) reported

@VodafoneUK Robyn, I can't register as I need a vodafone number and when entering the one I have been provided it does not work, I cannot sign up via email without a number. Today the masts are still showing as issues. When will this be resolved, I am unable to WFH
