@VodafoneUK Thanks for the reply. Firstly can we have an indication on how long this issue will take to resolve? Also will I and many others be compensated for the downtime?

  • LalaRubes
Laura Rubio (@LalaRubes) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@VodafoneUK I now can’t make phone calls OR use my data. Trying to speak to your complaints team is impossible. 5 days later and still no resolution or confidence that it will be fixed soon. Your network checker still shows everything being ‘good’. Come on Vodafone, sort it out!

  • Beleza_Rach
Rachael Santangelo (@Beleza_Rach) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@VodafoneUK But its not really the point. I was given a code last night. I can't retrieve it and I've to wait 3 days for them to fix it. I try new links l,they don't work. Why is it always the same drama? Its almost like you promote the scheme to get the businesss but don't want to honour it

  • Hilary_W
Hilary Mitchell (@Hilary_W) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@VodafoneUK you can have my money if you treat me with respect and let me speak to a human being. Otherwise, you can - and this is my official statement - do one

Brian Thomas (@brian6211) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

This is a joke. Cut off for the 2nd time on webchat after waiting 2 HOURS !!!! all I’m trying to do is help my mother in law get a blooming PAC Code @VodafoneUK @Ofcom over 5 hours we’ve been at this now #vodafonenightmare

  • Barriestweeting
Barrie Wilkins 🎙🎧 (@Barriestweeting) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

Only 6 months in and yet again back onto @cedrsays to raise a complaint about @VodafoneUK for the second time for over charging and refusing to stop charging for a contract that finished the end of November. Absolute disgrace of a network. 10 years a customer and def my last!

  • ChristinaNaismi
Christina Naismith (@ChristinaNaismi) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

Dear @VodafoneUK when do you think you might respond to my complaint submitted in Jan 20 about your most awful customer service and followed by letter to your CEO - no acknowledgement & no response to my account being locked by you since 9 Nov 19! @MoneyTelegraph @BBCRadio4

  • lisa_r_morton
Lisa Morton (@lisa_r_morton) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@VodafoneUK That won't help unfortunately as he will need an advocate present to make sure he doesn't get taken advantage of. From experience That is what the Vodafone team will do if they are not supervised by an advocate. This is the second time the shop in Bishop's Stortford has done this

  • brian6211
Brian Thomas (@brian6211) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@VodafoneUK unbelievably bad customer services. Waiting to speak to someone for 40 minutes and gave up and tried the chat option they text me a link to. Over 1 hour on chat to be told I need to call. 1hour 45 mins later I get through to someone WHO HUNG UP ON ME absolutely fuming

  • Glam_Rach

@VodafoneUK @magentawillow @VodafoneUK there are problems uk wide... I'm Edinburgh. Maybe it would be helpful if all your operatives knew this rather than some explaining that and some suggesting DMs

    @JohnMas33998248 @mcguireonfire @GooglePlay @HuaweiUK @VodafoneUK @Android @HuaweiMobileUK I think you might be right.... @VodafoneUK any idea why only your P20 users are having problems with @GooglePlay

  • lisa_r_morton
Lisa Morton (@lisa_r_morton) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@VodafoneUK Thank you. Unfortunately the contract is more than 14 days old and the vulnerable person needs someone else to be able to see that details of the account and help sorted it out. Leaving them to deal with Vodafone sales staff is what has caused this problem

  • demimortonxx

@VodafoneUK Hi Kev, in nearly 10 years of being a Voda customer, I’ve never been asked for this level of id before, and as there is no accompanying privacy policy or statement, Voda has no right to request any. And don’t use the thumbs up emoji when Voda has zero moral ground.

  • Harry1Kong

@VodafoneUK I cannot believe I have signed up a new contract and I am experiencing the usual incompetent customer service

  • Todoleo
Matteo Doni 🇬🇧 (@Todoleo) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@VodafoneUK Why did you let me order the service in the first place? Why wasn't I informed about the cancellation of the order? Why wasn't I informed about the cancelled installation appointment?

@VodafoneUK OK, so, a complaint Phone, with bank cards, lost. No problem, get a new one. I went to the vodafone shop, with my passport and my bank statement. They can't help. They can only order a sim for a lost phone if I have my bank cards. The ones in the phone. That will take a week to replace. They told me to phone customer services. CS were surprised the shop could not help, so put me through security. Which I failed. I even have a 4 digit code? Never used it. My last bill? No idea, because it's a text on my phone. Look at my bank statement? Fair plan, but my LOST PHONE is my 2FA device, so before showing me my statement, my bank will send a text to my phone, the one I don't have any more... They said I failed security and the only option would be a security reset. They'd send me an email. You know what the security reset asks for? a PHOTO of my passport and a PHOTO of my bank statement. You know what is LESS SECURE than a person standing in front of you, with their physical passport and bank statement? A photo of those documents attached to a form. It's almost as though you have not paid attention to what AI image generation can do these days. If you ever need to get a DBS check, they require you turn up, in person , and present physical documents. Not photos. SUGGESTION : If a customer comes to a shop with their passport and bank statement, THAT IS SECURE ID and the shop should be able to order a sim replacement.

@ThreeUK and @VodafoneUK are you aware at how bad the 4G and 5G is in Luton, specifically the whole of the town centre? It’s not about “coverage” but the lack of speed and the completely congested network you both have. You’re making millions from this town, please upgrade it!

  • ArunHebbar7
    Arun Hebbar (@ArunHebbar7) reported

@rksrajiv @VodafoneUK @AdityaBirlaGrp There is absolutely no issue at all. However, I am expecting some kind of clarification because nowhere in the world does a policy exist where a company is required to pay Rs.2/- to settle a Rs.1/- obligation. What I mean is that when Vodafone Idea paid the moratorium cost to DOT through equity conversion, it did not actually pay any of the Spectrum or AGR liabilities that were reflected under finance costs. Therefore, there is no reason why the company cannot discharge those obligations & why Speculation? I don't understand.

Having been with @VodafoneUK for quite a number of years, I've been turned down for a new handset with no explanation. My credit score is rated excellent with 1186 out of 1250. Vodafone just lost a long standing customer.

@VodafoneUK iPhone up Vodafone and spoke to someone from Vodafone and I asked him about my Amazon gift card and she told me that they would not issue it until six months in because they want to make sure that people pay and don’t just back out after getting their Amazon gift card so

  • ChantAngle64

@thewitchof653 @IsntWorkingPod @VodafoneUK They simply cannot stand the idea that the modern workplace exists to support all employees no matter what their circumstances. They have to paint a picture of disgruntled colleagues and unrest.

@ThreeUK @VodafoneUK I thought the merger was meant to improve signal. Not make it blooming worse. Cambridge is meant to be “silicon fen” tricky with such terrible network

@JadeEdwards9 @VodafoneUK “Please send us a direct message (ie take this away from public view because we’re incompetant, and not scared to tell you ‘tough titties we’ve got you in contract and will avoid dealing with any problems as best we can’) ….Bot replies only…

  • Taz_Pricey
    ✨Taryn H ✨ (@Taz_Pricey) reported

Wow @VodafoneUK your customer service is awful, asking a question on the chat and the response is "yeah just hold on" SERIOUSLY! that's how you run the business now! All I asked was if the contract could be resent as not att'd - with a please!

  • ourdancefamily
    Michael Dance (@ourdancefamily) reported

.@SMARTYMobileUK is a waste of space. Their live chat asks you a load of trash and to cancel a sim is a pain in the arse. Why can’t a mobile company see the account you’ve logged into and actually provide decent support, every other network can, let’s hope @VodafoneUK fixes it!!
