  • MDivito81 Marco Di Vito (@MDivito81) reported from Kirkliston, Scotland

@VodafoneUK Hi... I have been checking that regularly. What that tells me and reality are 2 different things. 4g is slow... Sometimes unresponsive... Calls suddenly lose reception or call quality drops to the point you need to hang up. There is a thread on the local FB page with many

  • Glam_Rach Rachael Santangelo (@Glam_Rach) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@VodafoneUK I left @O2 after 12 years after rubbish service. I've been with you 6 years but keep ignoring me tweets about the problems only your customers seem to be having with @GooglePlay and their p20 and I'll be on my merry way.... Post a formal complaint

  • clouddancefest Cloud Dance Festival (@clouddancefest) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@VodafoneUK Hi Kev, in nearly 10 years of being a Voda customer, I’ve never been asked for this level of id before, and as there is no accompanying privacy policy or statement, Voda has no right to request any. And don’t use the thumbs up emoji when Voda has zero moral ground.

  • Hilary_W Hilary Mitchell (@Hilary_W) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@VodafoneUK you can have my money if you treat me with respect and let me speak to a human being. Otherwise, you can - and this is my official statement - do one

  • mikeyfelley Michael Smart (@mikeyfelley) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@ghacking @VodafoneUK Iv had the same issues mate Absolutely brutal. These Charleston’s took my order knowing full well they had none in stock

  • HarpSilver H is for Harp (@HarpSilver) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@DangelAngello @VodafoneUK @O2 Had no problems with O2 but I dealt with them mostly through carphone warehouse found them very knowledgeable and helpful. It was Vodafone that were obstructive annoying and no help what so ever in the shop

  • CatherineGillon Catherine Gillon (@CatherineGillon) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@VodafoneUK now stood for 35 mins in the gyle store waiting to pick up my new phone. 3 staff who have been with same customer since I got here. Not good enough. People behind just left to go to carphone warehouse.

  • eagllefirestorm AlexisW (@eagllefirestorm) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@VodafoneUK so went to claim some free chocolate from @tesco as part of Vodafone rewards the app crashed on both mine and my wife’s phone then when we reset it said no longer Available. Never shopping at Tesco again thanks for cheating us Vodafone.

  • BillyMcDiarmid Billy McDiarmid 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🇪🇺 (@BillyMcDiarmid) reported from Ratho Station, Scotland

@VodafoneUK signal still awful at Edinburgh Airport...puts me off travelling from here!

  • Hilary_W Hilary Mitchell (@Hilary_W) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

I’m officially done with @VodafoneUK - my direct debit was cancelled by accident. I’m trying to speak to a human to set it back up again but they won’t let me speak to a human as I have an overdue balance and it keeps diverting me to an automated collection service. Maddening.

  • whatsupdoch Carrie Rennie (@whatsupdoch) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@VodafoneUK I would love to see ear pods for the iPhone as I’ve never had them and sick of getting tangled in the wires🤣 @pinkprincesskap

  • Sharpshooter180 PT (@Sharpshooter180) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@VodafoneUK - Edinburgh shop poor service today, no help and would not use them again 😡

  • MDivito81 Marco Di Vito (@MDivito81) reported from Kirkliston, Scotland

@VodafoneUK Other people on Vodafone having the same issues. Initially thought it was myself and my wife but it appears there is many more in the village

  • clouddancefest Cloud Dance Festival (@clouddancefest) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@VodafoneUK No, mansplaining is always offensive, and Voda’s two-stage authentication is sufficient so this level of id proof is beyond reasonable. Then again, so is charging customers and not providing a signal ever 🤣

  • Glam_Rach Rachael Santangelo (@Glam_Rach) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

    @JohnMas33998248 @mcguireonfire @GooglePlay @HuaweiUK @VodafoneUK @Android @HuaweiMobileUK I think you might be right.... @VodafoneUK any idea why only your P20 users are having problems with @GooglePlay

  • AlexLamond1 Alex (@AlexLamond1) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@VodafoneUK It is, but I’m afraid I’ve already spoken to your support team who tell me I can’t get it, leading to the above rant aha

  • clouddancefest Cloud Dance Festival (@clouddancefest) reported from Portobello, Scotland

@JudithFlanders @VodafoneUK Also: never believe anything any member of Voda staff says. It’s totally The Art Of Gaslighting.

  • MDivito81 Marco Di Vito (@MDivito81) reported from Kirkliston, Scotland

@VodafoneUK considering how long it's taken you to reply to me it seems you are also having reception issues. #vodafail #vodaphone #vodauseless

  • gkse16 Graham Henderson-King (@gkse16) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland

@dolantalks @VodafoneUK They did the late payment charge for months with me when it was entirely down to them as they chose the day to take the direct debit. Took me really kicking off Judge Judy style to get resolution after a very snide ******* the phone said that I was an habitual late payer.😳

  • IastewartFTH Ian stewart (@IastewartFTH) reported from Bonnyrigg, Scotland

Honestly, never ever deal with @VodafoneUK. What an absolute shambles of a company, literally none of their customer service advisors help and that includes those in the directors office where a case was escalated to them. We will call you at prearranged time, erm no you don’t.

Vodafone Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Greebohobbes Bek Hobbes traîné dans les rues par la chat (@Greebohobbes) reported

@VodafoneUK I tried to add a BVB10 yesterday and after the usual message saying it will be done shortly, it wasn’t. Can you help?

  • messagewords Tim Gray (@messagewords) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Sympathies. You might get a better result if you're able to take a death certificate into a shop, if they have such things. That's what I did for my mum, with another network. It took 20 mins on the phone to be told that was the way to do it. Not what you need at such times.

  • JohnTheTim1 John Took (@JohnTheTim1) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK are absolutely horrible. I hope you get this sorted.

  • Cabbidges Dancer in the Void🕷 (@Cabbidges) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK This is standard for bereaved. I went through a similar mire and the companies that did it will never EVER get my business.

  • yorjustfkndata Proper Awkward (@yorjustfkndata) reported

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot Nah just cancel the account and stop harassing people you sickos

  • studavies1982 Stuart Davies (@studavies1982) reported

@VodafoneUK since the 20th June I have had 9 phone calls with you, several web chats, 1 store visit, 1 new SIM card. I still have a phone fault. Your employee turned off my phone signal for 30 minutes and put my child’s life at risk. So seeing as you are incapable of sorting this

  • Ms16Marie Marie Saunders (@Ms16Marie) reported

@VodafoneUK Morning, still no service, this is unacceptable, what is a Bot ? We expect our account to be compensated for your lack of service and lack of customer service.

  • Ritchiepk George Laird (@Ritchiepk) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I've a lot of sympathy. My mum is still alive but can no longer use the phone. I managed to get it cancelled using the chat bot on my own phone, but only as luck would have it, cos I was also a Vodafone customer.

  • EmilyCutlass Dalston Pirate (@EmilyCutlass) reported

@VodafoneUK That achieves absolutely nothing. Just ends up taking me to the same error as before. Your customer service used to be great. Now it's just automated messages that lead nowhere and agents who fail to do anything at all. Why? Are we all not paying enough?

  • RadioKate RadioKate (@RadioKate) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I'm sorry to hear this. It is a really hard time as it is, but when companies don't help it makes it all so tiring. Had the same when mum died and complained to BT about their insensitivity. Then they called *her* to see if she was happy the complaint had been dealt with.
