When dealing with my late Dad's funds I did send original death certificates and they all sent it back; 10 to remind me.😢

You DM him, ask for his phone number, then -you- call him and act as point of contact until resolved. The path to effective resolution has to be easy or it makes your company look disingenuous.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Yes. It's very common. Took us 2 years to get BT to cancel and stop billing us for phone and Broadband service they never managed to provide. 3 times they said they'd cancelled it then we'd get another red bill and eventually the collection agency letters.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Same here except the husband remaining,who had dementia,a pay as you go sim,& for who I had POA, was additionally sold a contract over the phone. Was incredibly difficult to resolve even though I was POA - they wanted to question him. We ended up with 2 contracts to try & cancel

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I went through a similar issue with Vodafone when trying to cancel my own account. I canceled and then they said I hadn't contacted them and tried to get another month's money out of me. The customer service was atrocious. I'll never use them again. Ever.
