Bah. All I would like is a number husband can ring to speak to someone @VodafoneUK who can write our email down correctly. That's it. Not difficult. My head hurts with the difficulty of getting this simple bit of information. #CustomerService

@GeorgeMonbiot @camdenjon @VodafoneUK Awful. The unacceptable face of digital age capitalism laid bare. Well done for publicising this George.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Sorry to hear you’ve been put through this ordeal after your loss. I had the same experience with @VodafoneIreland after my mother died in 2020. So upsetting after the loss of a loved one. Will never deal with Vodafone again.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK The same happened to me. Five times I gave notice to end a sim only contract but kept getting bills. Contacted CEDR ombudsman who took their side after they claimed I was no longer a customer. Paid £29 to a debt collection agency and my credit rating was affected. 1/2

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK We had a similar experience with SKY after my elderly Dad went into to a care home this year. Trying to cancel his SKY TV package was extremely hard for my brother because they insisted it had to be Dad - who has dementia - they dealt with. This despite brother having POA...

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I learned after Optus stole all the money in my account on what supposed to be a $30 pre pay and refused to give it back to NEVER go with a company that only direct debits.
