Matt Haney (@MJHaney) reported from Herne Bay, England@ThreeUKSupport @BrianJudge724 Or you can switch to literally any other UK network and have them put a bar on such charges. @VodafoneUK even did the right thing and refunded me directly after I got caught by a similar scam.

Matt Haney (@MJHaney) reported from Herne Bay, England@Sic5ense @ThreeUK This why I’ll never consider @ThreeUK, and I’ll continue to advise friends and family against them. @VodafoneUK are by no means perfect, but they do at least allow you to block these scams and they also refunded me when I complained as a “goodwill” gesture.

I think that old records can remain for up to six years, but that they can be removed earlier, at the discretion of the company concerned. I would persist with @VodafoneUK. They should help. As well as cancelling support to my fave charity The Salvation army for the same reason I also no longer donate to the RNLI for obvious reasons. I live on the S. Coast but I discovered that all funds collected are returned to the centre for re-distribution.
