Vodafone Issues Reports Near Margate, England

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Margate and nearby locations:

  • RichardPorteous Richard Porteous (@RichardPorteous) reported from Deal, England

@BurdensSarah @VodafoneUK Morning Sarah. I think that old records can remain for up to six years, but that they can be removed earlier, at the discretion of the company concerned. I would persist with @VodafoneUK. They should help. Best of luck.

  • KarrieKitchen Karrie's Kitchen (@KarrieKitchen) reported from Sturry, England

@VodafoneUK No internet and your online chat telling us there is a three hour wait for support.

  • MJHaney Matt Haney (@MJHaney) reported from Herne Bay, England

@ThreeUKSupport @BrianJudge724 Or you can switch to literally any other UK network and have them put a bar on such charges. @VodafoneUK even did the right thing and refunded me directly after I got caught by a similar scam.

  • MJHaney Matt Haney (@MJHaney) reported from Herne Bay, England

@Sic5ense @ThreeUK This why I’ll never consider @ThreeUK, and I’ll continue to advise friends and family against them. @VodafoneUK are by no means perfect, but they do at least allow you to block these scams and they also refunded me when I complained as a “goodwill” gesture.

  • _anysomething Laura Sutcliffe (@_anysomething) reported from Deal, England

Switched to Vodafone broadband last night on the promise that it would be activated in the 15th when my other service runs out. Now I'm being told the 17th. I have to remotely and won't have Internet. Very disappointed @VodafoneUK

  • megangilmurray Megs (@megangilmurray) reported from Eastry, England

@BtonGirlProbs @VodafoneUK Omg they’re the worst company ever! They used to take my bill 3 times a month 😫 then whenever I would complain call me a liar even tho I had bank statements to prove it!!

  • megangilmurray Megs (@megangilmurray) reported from Eastry, England

@carolinebiggsy @BtonGirlProbs @VodafoneUK I had to change to this and they’d still take a ‘one off payment’ they were the worst ever 😫

Vodafone Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • adskidids Adam (@adskidids) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK ..Vodafone were no help whatsoever. Despite me being their customer they would not assist and told me to speak to the company that had taken over my line - unsurprisingly they told me to speak to my current provider, Vodafone. So I was trapped in a useless circle with no one..

  • adskidids Adam (@adskidids) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK ..willing to help me. Vodafone took my money but as soon as I experienced difficulty they fobbed me off. It turns out Vodafone did have warning my line was due to be taken over and failed to warn me. Best bit? After hours on the phone, arguing, they offered me £50 compensation...

  • Stutheblue73 Greavesy's Da (@Stutheblue73) reported

@VodafoneUK my partner has ported he phone number to 02 and her phone is locked to your network. She has filled out a NUC form but hasn't had an email. When she rings, your automated system now doesn't recognise her number. How can she get a NUC code please?

  • JonMacSpoon Jon Mac (@JonMacSpoon) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I had a similar problem with @vodaphoneuk back in the last century. I had a pager contract with them for Mountain Rescue. They buggered up in some way and we pulled our individual contracts. A few sharp letters later from yours truly sent them packing.

  • Charleyyzard Charley (@Charleyyzard) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK And they closed my login when i initially called to close the accojnt anyway so even when I did find out about the "owed final payment" I couldn't even log in to pay the blasted thing.

  • takoronga takoronga (@takoronga) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot Absolutely horrible for you and your poor dad in what is such a sad time. My mum had an @EE account and when I phoned they put me through to a person who specifically dealt (really kindly and efficiently) with everything. Why can’t @VodafoneUK do that? Nasty company!

  • shitterrorist Kezzer (@shitterrorist) reported

@LakesBikes @VodafoneUK @speckyninja They never do that. This applies to all the phone, broadband and tv providers.

  • hestolemyname Paul Walsh (@hestolemyname) reported

@Ritchiepk @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Luckily when I was exectuor for my late father, I was able to use my brother (exactly same name as father, even middle names) to cancel the utilities that would not speak to executors or would not accept death certificate as proof

  • juliabayton Julia Bayton (@juliabayton) reported

@CraftyOldGit @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Same with my dad. But level of service differed massively between organisations. Barclays, kind but very bureaucratic & inflexible. Civil service pensions 🤯 HMRC surprisingly wonderful.

  • Peace_20047 Peace (@Peace_20047) reported

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot Maybe businesses should start being more compassionate and treat their customers like humans.
