@marcwebber @VodafoneUK @OpenreachHelp Ha! Well, the call centre man - who was very excited to tell me I was speaking to someone in Egypt - who told me Openreach was responsible was evidently mistaken. All fixed now - a shame as I've had full service from BT and Plusnet, but never outages like this. 3 days in 2 months.

@allyhj185 @VodafoneUK These companies do their absolute best to prevent you from canceling your contract, so far I have found BT the worst.

So you may have a good network and plans but your customer service via @VOXI_UK and @VodafoneUK is seriously awful! I’ve had reason to move to another network and my wife will undoubtedly follow after a shocking episode of failed customer service!

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Cancel the direct debit. Debt recovery agencies have no authority. Just tell them "send as many letters as you like, this is a you problem". Sorry for your loss.

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot Too little, too late absolute bin fire of a company. Disgusting behaviour but not even remotely surprising! Money obsessed and f*ck everyone! Never, EVER use this lot.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Unfortunately it's not just Vodafone its lots of companies. I had this problem with NS&I & BT. In the end I emailed the CEO of BT and complained. It was eventually sorted out but my 91yo dad would have stood no chance.

@VodafoneUK @RD03157723 They won’t listen i you and deny you did sit down the account and say you haven’t paid. Hopefully they get their just deserts for this treatment if so many.

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot When I tried to cancel my Vodafone contract, because I couldn't get a signal in my apartment in London Zone 1, the CSA accused me of lying and just wanting to switch providers. Well yes, I did want to switch providers, because I couldn't get a Vodafone signal.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Had this with #bt_uk, who took advantage of elderly relative with @DementiaUK and sold her a broadband package with full sport. The installer came round and asked where her pc or laptop was. The vile scumbags then took 6 months to cancel after she passed. Hid behind GDPR.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK @VodafoneUk are easily the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. Rude and useless customer service. I was overcharged by £1000, spent 50 hours on the phone trying to resolve it. They just passed it on to debt collectors.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Tried to cancel my partners account 9 years ago. In the end the debt collection agency Vodafone sent after us due to their own error was working with us alongside the ombudsman to fight them. Took a year but worth it. Vodafone will never change, avoid like the plague
