@chrisweston @VodafoneUK It took six months before Vodafone got our bill right. Haven't dared move the service since (though I'm out of contract now and Openreach has laid fibre in our street so I probably should consider it). Cheap for a reason?

Well,the call centre man - who was very excited to tell me I was speaking to someone in Egypt - who told me Openreach was responsible was evidently mistaken. All fixed now - a shame as I've had full service from BT and Plusnet, but never outages like this. 3 days in 2 months.

@Mteasel67 @VodafoneUK I was 2 months from an upgrade, I’ve never really had any issues from o2, it’s bad seeing as you was such a loyal customer but I know a few that have had issues with Vodafone.

@VodafoneUK promised to issue a cheque and post it to my address. They did not. Yesterday I received an email from Suraj Malwade saying they can credit the amount they owe and promised me to my Vodafone account. That's right, the account that is no longer active...

@VodafoneUK A fault is fixable. Closing the support ticket 2 hours after a long call with support who promised me call back within 72 hours to finalise the fix 11 days ago is internal process... Me needing to speak to support, complaints and the "Executive" team is incompetence Still no fix

Well thanks @VodafoneUK for nothing. I've been a customer since mid-90s, but with no signal coverage at my home address the past 6 years. Your insistence on using SMS for your 2FA rendered routine tasks impossible, and so you suggested Sure Signal as a way out of my dilemma.

@VodafoneUK Already got multiple broken promises from Vodafone staff. The issue is not only the fault but your continued closing of support tickets without checking the fix has worked. 11 days and counting since this was reported....

@VodafoneUK promised to refund me what they owed me and would apply a 'goodwill gesture' (as anything else would prove the errors were entirely theirs) and the money would be paid directly into my bank account. It was not. More hours of mine wasted trying to get this sorted...
